It's hard to compare when US, EU, China and Australia each has very different market features. In Australia for example 110kph is maximum legal speed. Also, as an EV owner paying only 8cents/kWh for electricity, the issue of consumption and cost is irrelevant. I also can charge free from our rooftop solar. The Sealion 7 is on my list for a possible purchase in late 2025, but as BYD keeps introcucing more and more models, maybe something better could be available by then,
@timogronroos4642 China has a free trade agreement with Thailand. VAT is always included in the price. Otherwise, it would be called a sales tax instead. The main reason for the lower price is the price war in Asia between electric car manufacturers.
I saw this car in a showroom today and was genuinely surprised with how good the quality is. I am looking for an electric family suv, and have tried multiple. I found that Cupra, Skoda and VW were all based on the same platform and was frankly identical in the interior. The BYD Sealion 7 was however really good quality, no hard plastic, no piano black, all the bells and whistles... Now, I haven't driven it, but I hear that it is on the softer side and has a bit of body-roll. But I am really looking forward to trying it. The warranty is also really good unlike the European cars.
The AWD seems to not be very fuel efficient. Has anyone did any testing on the Premium model, rear wheel drive. Like actual power consumption at 90/100 kmph. I sure don't want an electric vehicle where your main concern is where are the next charging stations
I own this car and its performance and build quality are absolutely fantastic and on a par with European brands. If you suckers want to stay loyal to European brands, which incidentally are charging you 2 to 300% more for the same or sub par quality, please continue 🤪🤪🤪 I’ve owned BMWs, Mercs and VWs and this car stacks up to all of them.

:D not really, I'm heading towards the 50k subs on the original German RUclips channel which is the base to this dubbed english channel: ruclips.net/user/joenohs1
Tesla doesn't even have indicator stalks. My seventy five year old mother and 79 year old dad ain't going to be pressing buttons on a steering wheel to indicate in the middle of a roundabout. No, ways! And they and I will need a chiropractor after an hour of driving in a model Y. No thanks!
It is just boaring to look at. I would never buy it! I wouldn't like to have a chinese made tv set, not to mention a car. Quality vise! Also service, garantie, dealer maintenence and so on. I find german EV-s much more desirable as everybody else. They are just too expencive so far! Im waiting for ID2, but that will be only for the city. Tiguan stays for long distances.
BYD is killing it.
I happy to invest there

110 km/h maximum on highway?
@cheungchingtong yep.
And point to point speed cameras fine you if you break the limit.
@@remakeit2628 Holy cow, and I thought the speed limit is so low here in China already...😂
Affordable
In Thailand the performance AWD is $20,000 cheaper than in Europe. The price is around $36,500
Is the VAT in the price? Also, probably no tariffs

The excellence, ♥️♥️♥️
Amazing car and price

Load cover in the trunk was not used, when complained about the noise from behind.
it's jus a small flexible one which had no real impact in my test ride.

Hi, not sure if you're aware, but your number are not being translated and are still coming through in German. Otherwise a great review thanks!
Can't you sort out the translations?
520 liters is what they forgot to dub at 3:47 😂
And many other timestamps too.

Why there is this limits on the cruise control system
130 km/h on the speed and 125 on the lane keep assisting?
Tesla does the same at 140kph. Must be about limitations of the system being able to work safely and reliably
u can unlocked it from the setting.
@@dann5515 thanks a lot, i will check it
I laughed at it needs a lil bit of gas going uphill 😂 i guess some things are stucked

i like the design but the car is more expensive than the Tesla Model Y here in my country. I might rather remove this from my list of options.
Tax
50,000 subs - not according to the text under your channel name. The number is 663 subs. What happened, the bots got removed? Reported to YT.

BMW and other German cars are so boring and so overpriced nowadays.
Nothing beats Tesla model Y ; efficiency, long lasting, topnotch software and a supabrand company that is associated with spaceX .

ID系列的主要部件都是中国自己的公司制造的,电池,电机,甚至芯片,大众的电动车在中国整个的电动车产业链里才能存活!如果你有机会到中国,你就知道大众实际上整合汽车的水平连前五名都进不了
How much money did you get from Chinese government?
None.
I think Chinese government is unlike US, US spent billions on propaganda, NGO wars to throw down other countries
Stop it. Get some help.
maybe u should ask the west how much they've funded the anticn medias. ohhh u r one of the funded.
You must be obsessed with their government. They live rent free in your head 😂
