07:35 - The entry Model Y uses NCA batteries which means on a day-to-day basis to preserve your batteries you would really only want to charge to 80% of capacity otherwise you run the risk of battery degradation. Going by your numbers that mean on daily charge, 80% of 373 miles is 299 miles. BYD's blade battery uses LFP chemistry, which mean you can fully charge to 100% every day without worry of degradation. Which mean range is about par between the 2 manufacturers. BYD have also said that their blade battery will likely out last the life span of their cars.
Saw it a few weeks before christmas and have placed an order, should arrive in march

I could already see and make a short test drive, here in Thailand. The Sealion 7 looks really great - but it is also quite large for me. The Premium variant (RWD) costs in Thailand about the same as an Atto 3 two years ago...
Oh that’s wicked, nice and local for you then. Deffo mention us and if you do go through with any purchase be sure to show them you are subscribed to us for your £250 off any car. Thanks for the comment 🤗
I’ve noticed that many Aussie car review RUclipsrs have been flown to China in business class and staying in luxury 5-star hotels, all courtesy of Chinese EV manufacturers. You guys might be the next candidates.
Oh really, well that does sound nice. I love of bit of 5 star treatment lol. If that’s the case we would definitely film that trip. Fingers crossed for us lol. Thanks for sharing and chatting to us and leaving a comment 🤗
You're doing a fantastic job! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Today I did test drive of this car in Thailand This car drive very good and interior quality is similar to Mercedes level In Thailand it cost 1.25 million Bhat 29,000 pound only
UK, EU tariffs and taxes are why, they’re sooo much cheaper everywhere else, a BYD Seal excellence is 48k pounds in the UK, but in my country it’s 37k pounds!
Only way you going to forget Tesla in the States is to provide as many Tesla charging stations throughout the states let alone in other countries. This is the only downfall for all competitors , plus there are no federal incentives for imported cars.
Yeah I can imagine it’s hard in America to go against Tesla cars because of the tariffs on imported cars. But in UK we don’t have that with Chinese cars. Appreciate the comment and chatting to us 🤗
Good review but I would not be paying that for a Chinese car we have 2 EVs one Tesla and a Renault there are other EVs on the market that are better value. Also it’s over 40k and the road tax is extremely high after 2 years the car will be less than half. Keep up the fantastic work.

On the highway you will not travel more than 340 km at 20°C.

Rear design looks nice.
Which show room is this?? Where is it. I want to see the car?
Milton Keynes dealership 🤗
The model looks nice, but the range is low. I was expecting this to have a 400-mile range roughly.
And ADAS not work properly

In Thailand it cost 1.25 million Bhat
29,000 pound only
And the back beats were as comfortable as Camry
Will UK get RHD?
Yeah they will. This is just the only they have at the moment and it’s going around the dealers. Thanks for the comment 🤗
A very Good design by chinese engineering, bye bye to out dated german engineering. BYD king of electric engineering.
So this a LHD drive car made in China that is retailing at £55k in the UK, ac country where they drive RHD cars. Definitely a good choice.
This is just a demo that’s LHD, they will all be RHD in the UK. So it’s not an issue for those that worry about that. Thanks for the comment 🤗
Odd that BYD would use a left hand drive vehicle for review in the UK.
I prefer the Zeekr 7x

The problem comes when you try it on the road. The ADAS doesn't work very well and it's a car that consumes 23-24kWh!
The plaids motors can do 30,000rpm.
Energy efficiency in the tesla is much better, the promised miles byd will not go!
23-24kWh
It makes a good argument. Thanks for sharing and leaving us a comment 🤗
WOW!
Impressive eh? Thanks for the comment 🤗
I thought BYD were meant to be cheap. Nice car, but they won’t sell many at these prices.

POLESTAR 4 Please.
Would love to get hold of that to do a review. Thanks for the comment 🤗
@@CarChatTV Thx
So we should pick this over the Tesla even though you can’t spec it or drive it yet? What if it drives like shit?
But it’s not 300 miles, even at best it might do 240 which it’s still okay if you don’t drive far
Anything but a Tesla
the assistance systems are unusable and the electric version is too expensive
Looks like infiniti mini suv
BYD's all drive pretty bland though compared to Tesla as do most Chinese cars.... the Chinese need to start making cars that are fun to drive
