WOW, you do have the “Hoya touch”. So pretty, those leaves on all of the Hoyas.

I'm pretty convinced that the splash on a hoya is closely related to how much direct? light the leaves get.
I have several hoya, but the Caudata is the one that showed most obvious signs: It is pretty splashy, it sits on the window sill and gets some direct sun rays several hours a day. Well, last winter was pretty gloomy, there was barely any sun shining through that window. All the splash disappeared. Like plain green leaves, not a single spot of silver. They also got smaller. Now the sun is back with full force and so is the splash. I can easily tell which leaves were grown during winter and which during the summer.

Love me some hoyas. Some of the ones that you have are a little too expensive here in the US. But right now my favorite is hoya serpens which I do not have because of the price. Hopefully someday.

Omg your linearis!!! I have a baby one. They're hard to find here, so I bought one online from shop. Hoyas are addictive, I'm just getting into them and have so many on my wishlist.

Omg the grey ghost lol. I bought mine a little whiled ago, put it in my cabinet high light, high humidity, didn’t do anything. I put it in a prop box with even more humidity and light. Didn’t do anything lol so I got tired of her I took her out and left her in my plant shelve, crappy light even crappier humidity and boom it’s putting out it’s first leaf 😂😂😂that Hoya is very ungrateful 😅

Loooool I am so close to exiling mine too 🤣 I was so excited about her when I first got her but she's taking up precious space in the cabinet so she'd better step up her game or she'll be moved to the regular shelf to live with the peasants 🤣

Why some plants are like that!? When you ignore them, they decide it's time to thrive 😑 It has happened to me with some philos.

A friend of mine made those actually! She’s in the UK but not sure if you are. She has an etsy shop or I’m sure you can reach out to her on instagram @myleafyhome.uk, hope that helps! 😎

What substrate is your linearis in? How much light? Any tips? I have one that isn't dead... but want a full one like yours.... :)

It's still in the nursery mix it came in 🤣 It seems to be happy in there so I haven't repotted it yet. Mine receives lots and lots of light (direct too) and I fertilize it regularly, that's about it really but I'd say the light is key, hope that helps!

Oh! Quite important, they don't like to dry out too much so I water it immediately when I notice it's dry, I think now that's it 🤣
