I got Kota kinabalu as a one node cutting, in 5 weeks rooted well and has a stem with 2 leaves. Minahassea, fungii and minnibelle blooms every year couple times.
That so amazing! Those are all beautiful Hoyas! I’ve been looking at the minnibelle splash every time I see one but haven’t brung myself to get it yet! But hearing it’s an easy bloomer I have to get it now! Thanks for sharing those Hoyas with us!
@@NailzByA Thank you. I don't have any spalsh hoya, they say it is the growing condition of the plant, like example under a growing lamp. But honestly...I do not know, i now have to have a splash to find it out by my self😁🙈
@PlantyPrincess, I love this video! I have some of the same hoyas and I love them! Maybe I will upload some pictures when I return home so you can see! Thanks for this amazing video
I now grow almost all my Hoyas semi hydroponically in leca. I have 2 that are still in soil and for those I mix soil pumice and a little orchid bark to help keep the soil very airy yet retaining moisture. Both plants in the soil are thriving and growing nonstop so for me this mixture has worked well for them.
I LOVE the krimson queen! Have you seen the Australis Lisa? It has similar characteristics so you may like that one! Thanks for watching! I hope you come across more that appeal to you to grow your collection!
My cacti and succulents have gone so damn crazy this year. Usually they're really slow growing an inch or two a year, but every single cactus in my collection has grown almost 30% in size. My jades have grown almost 7 inches each in the last 4 months, all my strings are 6x bushier from how much I've cut them back and propogated. I'm being spoiled, I don't think fast will ever feel fast again lmao. Off topic, but the slow growing talk made me want to gush about my "slow" growers.
Hey Ashley, finally sitting down with my iPad and I’m like I’ve got to see your video. Love the two I’ve seen so far🤩, the major is gorgeous 😜. My Queen and princess are killing it also, and my kentiana too. Planterina I love her site.Did u leave her in soil? Mine also lose the pink I thought it was me🤷🏻♀️. I have the bhutanica too, watching your unboxing. Mine grew a ton also☺️, but not sun stressed yet. Can you do a care video for the ds70 or bilobata TIA💚 omg the parastica😍😍 I also got my first bloom with my hoya compacta, needless to say so happy🙌 my callistophylla is so slow ugh, mine still has the same 3 leaves, congrats on your penducles
😁 yes the Princess and Queen are just extremely fast growers right?! I kept the Kentiana in soil yes was thinking about pon but it’s doing so well I might just leave it. I also thought it was just me losing the pink lol glad to hear it’s not just us! I’ve been working on sun stressing some Hoyas and finally found a great light that has been working to sun stress so I’m moving all my Hoyas into my ikea cabinet under the lights. Awesome inexpensive lights from Amazon I’m so stoked it’s working! I cannot wait to see my bhutanica sun stress I’ve seen one so bright red it was gorgeous! That’s awesome you got flowers I’ve gotten peduncles but none opened yet but I think the one on the callistophylla will! My callistophylla has been growing slow too but it has grown 3 peduncle super fast which is why I added it to the list! I still don’t have a compacta! Need to get one ASAP and yes I’ll do an episode of spilling the soil on one of those Hoyas! I have one I’m gathering info on now to do but the episode after so keep a look out!
GM, you have that cool grow tent so you’re good on the sun stress issue in terms of lights lol. Are u talking about the light that u made a video on? It’s so weird how some hoyas stress easily and others not so much. I can’t believe I missed a video that u put out after this, will watch the first chance I get🤩
Gm! No not that light although that one may be great for sun stressing to. The light I put in my ikea cabinet. The lights I got are in the description of that video if you wanted to check them out. Yes I uploaded it last night so you didn’t miss it lol it was like 9 pm when I got it up.
Ok yea maybe that’s what I always thought to. I also thought maybe a good light that’s not to intense and longer hours so I’ve been using this light for 12 hrs a day and so many Hoyas are starting to sun stress
was so disappointed that the growing conditions that LEAD to this fast growth was not included (temp? light? humidity?) that way we could tell if it would grow for us like it did for you.
Great point! I keep most of my Hoyas except for a couple common easy growers like the carnosa krimson princess, albo marginata, and pubicalyx in my ikea cabinet with around 60% humidity and I try to keep it anywhere from 70-80 F much below that or much above that I’ve found haven’t worked for me. I run a light for 8 hours and also have small fans running in the cabinet to keep air circulation going. Again all my Hoyas except for the few previously listed I grow semi hydro in leca so keep their reservoirs full of water and the few I grow in soil I water when the leaves start to feel soft or limp. I hope this is what you were looking for!
That's what you took away from this video? You must be a Harvard English teacher whose grammar is always 100% perfect. I wish you the best in finding an inner peace that might let you enjoy life a little more and focus less on other people's imperfections. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CHECK MY GRAMMER, SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION, AS I'M QUITE SURE IT'S NOT AS PERFECT AS YOURS. And Planty Princess.... great video!
Betty miller I am not an English teacher nor is my channel here to teach proper English. This channel is a platform for those whose share a similar interest as myself, for me to share my plant journey and what I’ve learned as well as I enjoy learning from my subscribers and viewers but if you don’t like the words I use or how I use them I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere. ANYWAYS this is the second time your commenting on my video about this do you have nothing better to do? I’m sorry that’s all you got out of my video.
Which Hoyas grow the fastest for you?! Any of the 6 Hoyas I mentioned here grow fast or have bloomed easily for you?! Let us know!
Definitely my Carnosa and pubicalyx like you said in the beginning and also my bordenii and my Australis.
Yes those are all great growers! My Bordenii is growing at a good pace to and so is my Australis Lisa! I love fast growing Hoyas!
I got Kota kinabalu as a one node cutting, in 5 weeks rooted well and has a stem with 2 leaves. Minahassea, fungii and minnibelle blooms every year couple times.

Thank you! I do to and they love it! I have to make more!

I LOVE the krimson queen! Have you seen the Australis Lisa? It has similar characteristics so you may like that one! Thanks for watching! I hope you come across more that appeal to you to grow your collection!
I saw some hoya watiii..I know I spelled it wrong. But they LOOKED SICK..and they wanted $20
Wayetii maybe? Long skinnyish leaves? If so I have one a variegated one and LOVE it! It’s an easy care gorgeous Hoya!
That's the one!! Our nursery has a shallow selection 😒😒😒😒
Yes it’s an awesome Hoya!
I just subscribe with you. Can you please make a video how to grow the hoyas in leca? Thanks

That’s awesome!! Surprising my string ofs and the couple cacti I have have been growing decently also this year! Keep growing!

Ok will check them out!! Your link, I need maybe a stronger light?
Ok yea maybe that’s what I always thought to. I also thought maybe a good light that’s not to intense and longer hours so I’ve been using this light for 12 hrs a day and so many Hoyas are starting to sun stress
Hoya parasitis I wannnnttt ❤❤❤
That’s a gorgeous one! Thanks for watching!
I like that varigotta....Idk.. I like variegated leaves!!!
Thank you! Me to! Variegated and veiny leaves for Hoyas are my favorite!
Make sure that the end of the tendril doesn't point downwards or else it might die off.
I’ve never had a problem with tendrils dying off…do you know why that would be?
All great Hoyas! Love your videos!! Great job! 👌🌿🥰💚
Yes I agree! Thank you so much!
