BR Green 121034 departs Paddington on 5Z21

Chiltern owned 121034 is seen departing London Paddington with the 5Z21 working from Old Oak Common to Aylesbury LMD. It had been withdrawn from revenue earning duties a few months previous after the Princess Risborough to Aylesbury shuttle was taken over by a class 165. The BR Green 'Bubblecar' had featured at the previous weekends 'Old Oak Common 111' open day. This must have been the first time a class 121 had been at Paddington since NSE days when they were used on the Greenford services.

brilliant this is how it should be.in paddington along with class 52s. we had the 121s on the henley branch in 1968 and never overcrowded
