When images are taken during a thyroid ultrasound does it indicate abnormalities or do they still take images if the thyroid appears normal.

I originally had a right thyroid nodule with a Ti-Rads score of 5. It was biopsied in 2019 and was found to be benign. I just had a recent ultrasound last week. The Ti-Rads score was 6. The right thyroid gland measured 0.9 cm x 0.6 cm x 1.0 cm. Report says no indications for fine-needle biopsy. Does that mean I don’t need any follow-up biopsies? Will I need anymore ultrasounds in the future? I don’t believe my endocrinologist feels that I will need anymore ultrasounds.
small size suspicious nodules may not be accessible for needle biopsy and many samples will probably include adjacent normal thyroid tissue
suspicious criteria are there to raise a red flag for close follow-up .. it may resolve .. enlarge .. or develop more suspicious appearance .. together with cervical lymph nodes changes which will have different kind of approaches up to surgery
BTW .. there is no TIRADS-6
points in TIRADS are translated to different scores, highest is 5
so even more than 7 points are still TIRADS-5
I am struggling to understand my TIRAD 3 score. My documents show a 1cm x .4cm x.8cm nodule on the right side. The composition is solid which tells me thats 2 points then the echogenicity is marked hypoechoic which should also be 2 points. Everything else scored a zero so would tht not be a TI-RAD4? the report sent to my doctor rated it as a TI-RAD3 with no further testing recommended. The reason I was scanned was due to hoarseness and swallowing difficulties and now im afraid something is being missed.
