Thank you for this really helpful information! However, a quick factual correction.. Ashwagandha is not a Chinese herb. The name Ashwagandha itself comes from Sanskrit. It is also known as Indian ginseng.. The plant is native to India, Middle east and also found in North Africa! Ashwagandha has been used in Indian ayurveda since ages for women's overall health.
Cheers for this, I been tryin to find out about "what causes your thyroid levels to be high?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Mabammeston Bewildering Method - (just google it ) ? It is an awesome one off guide for discovering how to say goodbye to hypothyroidism minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my m8 got cool results with it.
BTW about Ashwagandha in Indian herb: Withania somnifera, known commonly as ashwagandha, Indian ginseng poison gooseberry, or winter cherry, is a plant in the Solanaceae or nightshade family. Several other species in the genus Withania are morphologically similar. It is used as a herb in Ayurvedic medicine.
There are several factors in curing for hypothyroidism. One resource I discovered which successfully combines these is the Quintrell Thyroid Plan (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the most useful treatment that I have ever heard of.look at all the extraordinary information .
This was great, thanks, I've been looking for "controlling thyroid with diet" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Yannabarn Vanish Thyroid - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my colleague got cool success with it.
Yes, Thomas. That's a correction you muat make; you mentioned Ashwagandha as Chinese, but it's Indian - though it may perhaps be found China as well. Ashwagandha is an important component of Ayurvedic treatment. Very informative video as usual, thanks!
I don't have the disease myself, but not so long ago I decided to cut gluten from my diet and have DEFINITELY noticed myself having more energy. I drink tons of water and have so much energy to just get out there and exercise again - no more fatigue or randomly needing a nap during the day! I'm not saying this will work for everyone, but I think all too often videos like this get pushed around by people that don't see immediate results. My advice? Stick with it, it changes things and makes it better! Good luck to everyone suffering out there, it gets better guys and gals!
I found out last year that I have Hashimoto and I stopped eating gluten since then, I’m feeling much much better and energetic, no more bloating and unbearable pain. It’s like I got a new body! And I also lost weight as I cut out many unhealthy food
Hi, great videos. BTW. Ashwagandha is not Chinese, it is an Indian herb and written about and used widely in Ayurveda, ancient Indian medical system. The name in Sanskrit says "horse smell". Second, I totally get what you're saying. I myself lost 30 pounds 10 years ago by skipping breakfast, having just salads and raw veggies with some proteins for lunch, and a sensible dinner before 8 pm, while eliminating all "whites" - bread, pasta, rice, potatoes. I also worked out for 90 minutes 6 days a week. Everyone I spoke to were horrified - "you cant skip BREAKFAST"!!! Now I know why it worked. Thanks for the great work!
I'm 51 yo. This last year, I've healed myself through better diet. I've eliminated fluoride and other chemicles. That took care of all the inflammation. Turmeric has allowed me to come off of blood pressure meds. Hypothyroidism is the last thing to tackle. Thanks for this great video. I'll continue to research. ❤
Thank You! I have had this problem for years before I realized it was my thyroid. I have improved it a ton just by cutting out granola bars and all the granola cereals I was eating every day. Recently, I cut out gluten and it is also helping a lot. I will try the Ashwaganda soon.
I can testify that this totally works! Once I gave up gluten, all my "sick" symptoms went away .......extreme fatigue, body aches, brain fog, all gone within weeks. I still cannot lose any weight but I'm 60 and don't work as hard at is as I should.....but I'm grain, dairy, sugar and gluten free and even pretty much gave up alcohol since it just makes me sick now!

Thank you for the video! I have exactly what your wife was diagnosed with. I made a lifestyle change in my diet about 2 months ago, and now that I feel human again (but I have a long way to go) I'm hitting the gym. The numbers are getting better, but I could really use more energy pre and post workout. Obviously, I can't take most protein powders, because of the whey and gluten, and soy, so am interested plant based protein drinks. Can you do a video on or suggest energy boosting smoothies, shakes, drinks specific to hypothyroidism.
Ashwagandha is an Indian herb, Any time you see a word start with 'Ash' it usually means number 8. Eight as we say in English is 'Aart' in Indian language Sanskrit which is where we got the numbers we use today.
I can't thank you enough for your video! You might not be a doctor but you make a heck of a better job explaining what happens to us Hashimoto patients. Your wife is a lucky gal! Now I can start back again on my Isagenix's regime as the Ionix Supreme contains Ashwagandha!!! I was feeling tons better but stopped my products. Now I realize it it a lifestyle change, not a quick fix and I have to make my Isagenix a nutritional priority for me. Thanks again for your video. It is a must for all of us suffering from Hashimotos :)
I have an underactive thyroid. I've been diagnosed for 12 years now. I still can't loose weight even though I take my medication. Is there a list of gluten free foods that I can eat? Also, are there directions on "sprouting rice". Thank you, for your help.
Ashwaganda stimulates the immune system which is what you don't want with auto immune diseases. So for people with thyroid issues it might helo, but not with Hashimoto's. Soy is also something that should be avoided. Getting food allergy tests done is a must. You can eliminate foods all you want, but if you're eating so called healthy foods and are allergic you're just creating inflammation. Gluten isn't even the real problem. Its the high amounts of glosaphate from Monsatan that is the problem.
I'm so glad you explained the reason of a gluten free diet more in depth. I was wondering if you could please give tips on what could help with another auto immune disease called psoriasis. Thank you so much for this video, it was great!

I use to be on Nature Throid non desiccated thyroid meds. My TSH ( only one part of a thyroid panel ) was 18. My adrenals, progesterone, and cortisol was shot. I just watched your video, I have Hashimoto and Hypothyroid. After that I was diagnosed with MTHFR gene. My blood work was normal, metabolic tests were top notch. After arguing with my Endocrinologist and convincing him that its not a psychological issue I have, he finally referred me to INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE. This type of practice saved my life!! They discovered I have Hashimoto and MTHFR. So I take Armour Thyroid for Hashimoto, a compounded medication. I don't take synthetic drugs at all. Have your wife see a specialist in the INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE, who is also a female hormone specialist.

Great video! Whats your thoughts here on ashwagandha. I take Synthroid due to me having half my thyroid removed due to cancer. Doctor has me on a higher dose due to he feels that he wants the Synthroid to do most of the work providing the hormone and have the other have do as little as possible in the way of producing hormone. I want to take this for anxiety and the other benefits, not your recommendation but what are your thoughts, opinions on do you think its ok for me to take. Thank You in advance

I feel like I should go back to ER. I'm really not ready to die...yet. I will try the foods. In the meantime. H E L P !!!!! 😟 THANKU !!!!! ☺

THANKU for the info!!! I was recently released from the hospital after 3 days. Dr sed my Thyroid is NOT FUNCTIONING. It's been 20 days. Instead of feeling better, I'm feeling weak, dizzy and just weird. My memory has become a memory, brain fog seems worse, muscle aches also worse. I was off meds for 2yrs. I was Goin to the ER every month for meds cuz Im still doctor shopping (has to have a lab IN the office, no luck yet!)
I feel like I'm dying !!
(63 yr old female) I'm taking 100mg of levothyroxin, same dose I took before I went off my meds)
I try to "google" an answer here on utube, I word it in different ways. I can't find an answer! Do u know the warning signs of a myxadema coma? Or warning signs of a heart attack or impending death? I've taken these meds since I was 18. I was off meds due to a bad doctors bad decision. I feel like I should go back to ER. I'm really not ready to die...yet. I will try the foods. In the meantime. H E L P !!!!! 😟
