If they manage to get out, falling on the mat is safer than hitting the concrete floor.

There is no Dr Seuss books that were banned! The Dr Seuss publishing company decided to stop printing some of his early books due to what is now considered racial insensitive content in those books! No one banned them, no one forced the company to stop publishing them, the company decided on its own to do so! Dr Seuss books are not more valuable bc of their decision, the only ones that have more value are the couple of titles that they discontinued!

Which is a way of banning them. They have stopped production of those books which is automatically going to make their cost go up
