Most of the damaged leather items can be repaired. They make a specific type of glue just for that.
If you don't trust your own skills on an expensive item, find a local leather repair place and they can fix it for you.
Also -- mold can be cleaned off of items using white vinegar, it does kill it (know from experience). Since you found mold in that locker, you seriously should wipe down everything that wasn't in a sealed package with a towel dampened with vinegar. Spot test first on items that are worth a lot just to be safe, but nothing I used it on suffered any damage. The smell will fade rather quickly, as well.

I practically live in Okabashi flip flops! I have so many pairs, for daytime, for gardening, they are definitely sturdy and comfortable, & wash well when out gardening.---For once, I wish I'd been at your house when you brought stuff home to show Janna!!!---And a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOO!

Don't judge some handbags as being cheap fakes just because the lining/trim has deteriorated or is sticky. Louis bags made before 1985? all were lined in a material that got yucky like that---but they can be refurbished or cleaned---same with Fendi & a few other brands too. Stuart Weitzman shoes are high-end. Fun locker!
The mold spread because of the water in that one bin. I'm glad many of the best clothing items weren't moldy.

Happy Belated Birthday Janna. Wow, that is a huge amount of money 💰 to buy those handbags then treat them so badly. That literally blows my mind. I don’t go for expensive handbags. You can find some nice buttery soft real leather handbags that don’t cost two arms and a leg. It’s ridiculous and then trash them😢. Give Janna a hug for me. Another tip I have for you is on your wrinkled stuff like your wrinkled leather and things take a hair dryer to it or a heat gun if you have one don't get too close to the item but you'd be surprised at what wrinkles it can help take out of things😊

Was worried for you at the beginning especially that mold and the tote that had its own ecosystem going on 🤢. Maybe keep masks in your car so u don’t get it on your chest. In the end she had some really really good items n some good ones but uncared for shall we say lol. Nice one n hope you had a great birthday Janna n lucky auction too 👍🏻🎊❣️

50:38 I’m wearing the twin to those Okabashi sandals. They’re so comfortable. They had them at CVS last year $40 ish a pair. Also they are made in the USA 🇺🇸.
There is this foamy upholstery cleaner in a yellow spray can called "Tuff Stuff" it works great on Coach bags.
I don't mean this as a criticism only about a learning experience. I used to do this when I was younger, too. I would never bid so much on a nearly empty locker. I know times have changed but, you still need to have margin for profit. I love your enthusiasm.
Things to also consider:
1) zip code and affluence of city
2) trust worthiness of facility management.
Those are a couple of the things that go hand in hand with high bids on certain units. FYI. You’ll learn that in time and with experience too.
The dishes from inside the green bag that the zipper was carotid, are Temptation Dishes, and they are expensive. I know as I have alot of the dishes. Have a great day ❤️🙂⚘️.

Bet the storage unit had a slow leak in the roof from all the storage. I wouldn't blame who ever stuff was in storage. Also coud have been stuff from an apartment that had to be packed out and they were paid out for their contents.
I have a crazy idea. Sometimes you find old food, like the coffee in this unit. You could collaborate with the LA Beast on RUclips. He is one of the original RUclipsrs. He likes crazy challenges and I think he could be interested in trying some old food/drinks from lockers. Could be the most unexpected collaboration on RUclips.

There are organizations where you donate single shoes
Be careful what you sell if your not 100% certain it's authentic. Brands have lawyers across all platforms buying items if they suspect they may be fake. Then when they receive them they add you to a lawsuit list and then press charges against all who have been caught selling fakes. I've heard fines being $10k plus for some. Whatnot has become notorious for fakes being sold. Just giving you a heads up incase you haven't heard. Might be better off playing it safe and selling anything your not sure about at the fleamarket
Euro size 40 shoes ought to be 8.5 or 9. Those Guccis, if real, ought to be an easy sale. Way too small for my big ol' girlfeet though; I'm a 42.

Stuart Weitzman shoes are spensy spensy - I have a few of their loafers and they are lovely to wear. They are made in Spain but sold to Coach Inc... anyway, well made luxury.

some of the better companies have a service they offer to rejuvenate their older pieces. if they dont do it themselves, theyll direct you to a trusted alternative. you wouldnt believe how the stuff comes out looking! literally like new. you pay, but, if it gets you twice what you thought it was worth, its worthy the time to have it done.
