It was helpful, thanks! Maybe you could do some testing of the different compounds and treads. I think it would be very useful to figure out what to select in a specific track or when track conditions change. I know, not an easy video to make!
Check out the GRP Tires: www.amainhobbies.com/search?s=grp+tires+gt Video is old but the tires are still great: ruclips.net/video/FCkQa0X96FI/видео.html -Brett
Greetings! For clay use, I'd recommend asking racers at your local track facility for tire recommendations. Their help will speed up time from doing your own tire testing and save a lot of money in the process. If this is not possible, let me know and we'll find some tire suggestions for you. -Brett
A bit too much tires out there, how to choose amongst so many different patterns and brands, you could loose a race with the wrong pattern or compound.... so what are the racers using on the tracks like DNC or loose dirt tracks or carpet tracks or tracks with a mixed surface.... is there a tutorial or a guide that gives us an aid, some brands offer a chart how to use wich tires where but not all the brands have that... is there a guideline ( Racer's info?) you often see what buggy the racers use, what servo's and what engine but not the pattern of the tires, that is like sometimes a big mystery.... IS there a recent video that explains all this????
I think this is a rare case in which a visual chart on every manufacturer's info page is going to be more useful than a video. Tire compound will be down to temperature, and tread will be down to surface(hardpack, dust, wet/dry). Racer's will always be limited to their sponsored brand and at a race like DNC, they will use different compounds throughout the day, as the track changes. But those temp and surface charts will answer the vast majority of decision making.

GRP are a good option. Easy and atomic in médium
How about VP pro tires and wheels
can we get a vid of testing the rawspeed slicks on a proper slick style track
We'd love to but don't really have the track for it around here.
