Thank you so much for your videos! You are one of the only therapists/psychologists I have found that truly understands social anxiety and what really helps. Your videos resonate with me so much!
The issue I have is that it's all good when I think that no one's looking or thinking of me, but then I notice someone literally staring at me or looking at me, and when you have that kind of evidence it's just difficult not to be somewhat anxious. It's true that most people don't care and are fine and are focused on themselves, but there's always a few people who look at you or stare at you (especially kids) and maybe they laugh or have a judgemental smirk? (projecting maybe) and for me that just completely throws me off, even if I wasn't anxious, now that I've observed that, the anxiety is definitely more active
Yeah I attract a massive amount of attention. I was a professional model for years but have some degree of autism. People always look at my face when i am not looking but really stuggle to maintain eye contact with me (have blue eyes with very unique shape). For the longest time I thought it was me but finally put it together recently. Sometimes it's not in your head.
@@squarecracker Yeah, exactly, there's always some ppl and some unwanted attention right. Something that helped me out was someone saying "If someone judges you that's on them" since then I think my anxiety's lowered, because now I'm like okay if someone judges me that's not a reflection of who I am but just them wanting to judge and feeling superior
@@squarecracker I mispoke, I didn't mean to say object, I was thinking more "matter" as in it exists and is tangible so the same rules should apply, And maybe you're right, maybe that's how the quirk works, I might've been overcomplicating it in my head, I was coming from the pov that, there may be different limits, as in even if something is part of you, the quirk can control it separately, But I guess that isn't possible, I personally think you should be able to control it separately anyway, because a hand is still perceived as a hand, whether it's shigaraki's or not shouldn't matter, according to the rules if you can touch it you say the name of it, you should be able to set a rule, that's what I was going by. I thought that it could still affect it individually, I didn't think the quirk only worked as a "whole", since yaomomo's quirk is fairly complicated I thought maybe this one could be as well, and she might be able to control things at a individual level. I hope that makes sense.

Great points!
Thanks! Hope they are helpful
Unfortunately that’s not always the case and people DO notice a LOT. How do I know? I was told by them
People might notice you, but the judgement they make says much more about themselves. Chances are they are projecting their own issues onto you.
good perspective! @@cladmir

might it not be a better approach to learn not to care even if people are noticing you?
Yes, great point! If you have to pick one… then pick not caring if others notice you. But I definitely find it’s good to update both
