- Let’s pop over to see Mike training his home bred female Bonellis Eagle before a quick drop off to see where Kyle’s at with his pure gyr falcon !
More or less we catch up with both birds as manning merges into creance work !
Two top falconers, two top falconry species.
Enjoy… Животные
What a lovely Eagle, lovely approach to training, nice to see all doings well.

I need much more of this bonelli eagle ❤
You’ll see much more Saturday evening here ; short clip Friday and a much longer video saturday with plenty of action!

Thankyou ; trouble is I’m my own worse critic ! Need to work on shorter but Concise intros too! Nothings scripted which works both ways ….
@davesharpenatureboy i love that your Vids are so natural as if you were just having a chat about something with a friend. Please keep it real its great.
good job bro❤
Some, or many, bonellis, as occours with this particular one, are much similar to a big sparrowhawk than to a goshawk.
❤❤❤❤
good points '"soflty softly catchee monkey" very interesting to see the Bonellis not something we see here for sure and Kyle and magnificent Gyr not to mention the apprentice Lily
Who cares with all the amazing stuff you’ve got ( that you keep to yourselves hehe)
I would share of course but I'd be thrown in the clink@@falconry.davesharpenatureboy

I was just thinking that perhaps it makes great sense to train a Raptor to hand signals, as their sight is so extraordinary, and one doesn't have to depend on your voice being in great shape, all the time, and, in adverse wind/weather, the bird might not be able to hear you...the only issue being that you need to be in line-of-sight... thoughts, Dave?
Yes the palm of the hand is like a white flag even against a dense background, but as you say they can’t see through stuff!
With the wings and tail, is this species a real soaring bird, or do they do long chases?
Watching the sheer area of the wings, vs. A quite slim body...
Superb at both , here we can’t really fly them sorting but I used to live in Spain and often saw them soaring along cliff faces as they patrolled for partridge etc . Hopefully later we will get to see this one chasing ….
Hello my friend, can you tell me about this bird’s behavior and characteristics? Is it really a punishment whose instinct controls it, and is it considered an unfaithful bird? In your opinion, which is better in terms of loyalty, is the Imperial Eagle or Bonelli'?
Imperial I would say !
@@falconry.davesharpenatureboy Is there another eagle that is as loyal as the imperial eagle?

Hello my friend, I am back again. Please, I have a question: What is the reason why people love the imperial eagle? I mean, why is it a bird that is recommended to everyone?
