How the hell do I play that with only two hands?
You could also get someone else to play the lower parts. For me, if there's two colours on the tutorial, I play one set of notes, green for example, while my friend plays the other, blue for example. It seems to work for talent shows if we want to be fancy. Duets are a good choice.
with you left hand you don't keep them on the bass parts you also use the left had to play the middle parts. That's how I play it on my keyboard with the pedal to sustain the notes.
just play the bass with the left hand, the lyrics with the right hand, leave out the middle part that you played with the right hand at the beginning

LP is just something else
A trick I use so you can hit all the notes is on the long notes don't hold them forever so you can hit the other part. Use the pedal to keep the noise going though. If that helps lol

you can play this with 3 fingers,just pick up when Chester Bennington Sings and use 1 note! I just did it!

Linkin Park is the best band ever. I loved it when they preformed this with mixed with Shadow of the Day and Iridescent... It was such a good mix and such a good preformance, it was acoustic and I was crying...I am going to learn this and preform that!

@Goldrodsher basically he used the sustain pedal when he does the bass notes and what no t with the left hand and he continues playing the other part u play in the beginning and the main melody with the right hand
It's called Synthesia, priced around $39 if you want the full version, but it's free with some limitation, you can play it by PC keyboards or real keyboard (by connecting it with USB), and you can download the .mid somewhere on the internet.
You don't need third arm for that. Just play two lowest notes (in the chorus) one octave higher. I don't know if you understand what I'm talking about. My english is not well xD I mean G1 G2 becomes G2 G3, C1 C2 -> C2 C3 etc. but only in chorus and everything else is playable. Just played it :D I'm now working on my left and right hand synchronization.
@Goldrodsher You probably figured this out by now, but the sustained pedal is used in the left hand and then moves upper along the way
@Cueciwulf uuhm this program makes some parts look weird like you need extra hands because it's a midi, so it cant sustain sounds, so when you have those chords that you press and hold for long, you dont actually do that, the sustain pedal does it for you.

Hey Guys, I am not sure if you are realizing this but this song can be a very easy song to play. You just need to have good timing and have the pedal. Try it. :) I am.

Change to 1.25x playback speed for original tempo
If you know how to use a pedal this can be done with 2 hands without much problem, it could be questioned how important the octave switching part really is anyways. Nice vid
PS, you know how MIDI's work right? So you get Synthesia, download MIDI files of all songs you want. Save / copy them to the Synthesia folder, or let Synthesia link up with that folder, and voila. You can play all songs on either your PC keyboard, or hook it up to your PC / laptop / device and play it like that.
I think the speed is enough for learning ithis song :D

I do think that it sounds a bit weird. As in, it doesn't quite sound right. But that might just be my imagination... Other Linkin Park Synthesia songs sound more "right" than this, though...
But I still like it! This is one of my favourite Linkin Park songs.
as long as you practice and have quick sure fingers you should be ale to play it two hands no problem
oh and it helps to practice one hand at a time at first and then try to play them together once you've got the basic idea
got to 0:50 in 1-2 hours.. the rest wil take a whole month i bet xD

I was playing the part where the two hands are liike stacato , right ? And then it didn't sound right at all. I forgot to hold down the beginning part X__X
Then why not leave those notes out. I did that on my first try on the song and decided to challenge myself and do other difficult (well to me) songs and since I kinda now how the sustain pedal works I might give this another go.
