  • Greece joining the Central Powers would change surprisingly a lot after the war has ended. Just to give you a sneak peak, the Russians wouldn’t sign Brest-Litovsk Peace Treaty and go Communist, as well as the Austrian Painter wouldn’t start World War Two. Let’s see how all of this could have happened!
It took the Kingdom of Greece three years from the start of World War I to decide which side to join. While the government of Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos and the majority of the population sympathized with the Entente, the Greek King Constantine I, as a relative of the German Emperor Wilhelm II, wished to join the conflict on the side of the Central Powers.
