I like many others have just been introduced to this incredible human in the last month and I'm in awe with every song I listened too. His gift of taking any song no mater the genre and either 2 things happen #1 he honors it by singing it as closely as the actual original or #2 makes it his and you experience the song like its the first time hearing it. This is Grandma from Texas. I watch every single reaction to this video in particular. I’m 70 years old and have been a Christian since I was 16. Needless to say I have heard this song sung in so many different ways by so many different artists. This is by far the best rendition I have heard in my life. You haven't heard of Dan Vasc before because he's an independent Brazilian singer without a label. He records all his audios in his home studio and makes the videos in his garage. Now, as you saw, this does not mean the production quality is less than top-notch. (Well, his earliest videos do look home made, but we all gotta start somewhere.) While he does have a band (Fearless), they don't tour any more. Dan took over ten years of vocal training, and has worked on improving himself ever since. As others have said, he can sing just about anything.

I absolutely LOVE Dan's interpretation of this classic and beloved hymn!! He's got so much vocal and breath control! IMHO, he's the best tenor out there right now! The harmonica really gets me, too because my precious Granny played it beautifully. As I grew up we'd gather around the piano as a family, I'd play (and sing alto or 2nd soprano) and she'd play harmonica, while the rest of the family joined in. Priceless memories! I truly believe that all of Heaven stopped to listen when Dan sung this! God put him here to give people hope during these tumultuous times when there is so much fear, hatred, and despair in the world. Thank you for your opinion on this! Dan is an incredible talent! I think you are now in the Dan Vasc rabbit hole with the rest of us fans. He sings everything from metal to opera. Every cover he does is awesome. Dan is a RUclips singer by choice. He was shown a contract a lot earlier and declined it because he did not like the terms. This way he is totally in control. - not just with what he sings but in how it is done and whether or not he tours. He does have a band that includes his brother and two of his friends (Fearless) and has put out one album with them (he just recently competed writing music for a second album_. Dan's genius is in how he arranges the music and how the song is sung. If you want to start to get into Dan's music, he covers alll genres and I would suggest the following: Disney - I'll Make a Man Out of You, metal - Bring me to Life, Opera - Nessun Dorma, Witcher TV series - Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, Co\ver - Kiss From a Rose...plus there are many others.

About a week after losing his dad to cancer, he performed his dads favorite Elvis song, AMERICAN TRILOGY. With great passion and emotion, he performed flawlessly. I am 63 yo and greatly appreciate and enjoy all he does. There is much to learn about this young Brazilian man who seems very patriotic to America. He is also a Christian metal singer. His band is named FEARLESS An album has several songs he wrote steaight from the bible. He performs much of the instrumental work all the video work, and is his own backup singer many times. He sings most all genres of music from opera to scotish ballads. Trully gifted, highly intelligent is also a good commentator. I have liked and subscribed to you. Oh, he also covered LOVE ME TENDER... ELVIS himself would have been proud. Just a few more... MY HEART WILL HO ON "BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY" LOCH LOMAND OH HOLY NIGHT PRICILLA'S SONG EYE OF THE TIGER.... I would like to echo everything everyone else has said about Dan Vasc and his voice. He has made no secret of his hard work and why he has traveled the road of music, as is mentioned in some of his explanatory videos. He also left up all his early attempts to show his growth in singing and performing, which are fun to watch for so many reasons, including his humility. Other covers that I would recommend that I don't think were mentioned are "My Immortal" by EVANESCENCE and "Beyond Belief" with John Schlitt and John Lowry of PETRA. BTW thank you for your service! One of the only artists I know of who can do a cover that is frequently better than the original. ( case in point >> "Rolling in the Deep" I loooove his version). “Burn Butcher Burn” is awesome, and I’ve never seen “The Witcher”, and so are his Phantom of the Opera songs, and I love his 80’s metal music. “Amazing Grace” was my first knowledge of him, and I’m always just amazed at his vocal abilities! He is a Christian, which is also refreshing, too. I’m totally impressed by his voice and his videos! He now also has a monetized RUclips video game series with some friends of his, and it’s funny! He’s also been doing what I guess would be a tri-athlete type of workouts and has really become a fitness professional. He’s got a goal of reaching 1 million subscribers, and I really think he’s going to get there! He’s a very interesting, hilarious, intelligent, and caring person. I totally cried when I saw “Son of Pain” because he just conveys his emotions so deeply with the viewers, that he is such a spectator performer! Glad to hear that you enjoyed his performance so much! I like many others have just been introduced to this incredible human in the last month and I'm in awe with every song I listened too. His gift of taking any song no mater the genre and either 2 things happen #1 he honors it by singing it as closely as the actual original or #2 makes it his and you experience the song like its the first time hearing it. I also found that because of his incredible talent im listening to genre's that I never like before like the extreme heavy metal and opera. Needless to say I have heard this song sung in so many different ways by so many different artists. This is by far the best rendition I have heard in my life. I am thinking that this is the way this precious old hymn was MEANT to be sung all along. We just didn’t know it until Dan Vasc lifted up his voice and made an anthem of it. You haven't heard of Dan Vasc before because he's an independent Brazilian singer without a label. He records all his audios in his home studio and makes the videos in his garage. Now, as you saw, this does not mean the production quality is less than top-notch. (Well, his earliest videos do look home made, but we all gotta start somewhere.) While he does have a band (Fearless), they don't tour any more. Dan took over ten years of vocal training, and has worked on improving himself ever since. As others have said, he can sing just about anything.

I absolutely LOVE Dan's interpretation of this classic and beloved hymn!! He's got so much vocal and breath control! IMHO, he's the best tenor out there right now! The harmonica really gets me, too because my precious Granny played it beautifully. As I grew up we'd gather around the piano as a family, I'd play (and sing alto or 2nd soprano) and she'd play harmonica, while the rest of the family joined in. Priceless memories! I truly believe that all of Heaven stopped to listen when Dan sung this! God put him here to give people hope during these tumultuous times when there is so much fear, hatred, and despair in the world. Thank you for your opinion on this! Dan is an incredible talent! I think you are now in the Dan Vasc rabbit hole with the rest of us fans. He sings everything from metal to opera. Every cover he does is awesome. You must check them out. Too many for me to list but I particularly loved Music of the Night & Gethsemane plus I'll Make a Man Out of You plus so many others. I'm 73 & never thought I'd like a metal singer but I love this guy! I grew up listening to all the big name opera singers & he can hold his own with any of them! Dan is a RUclips singer by choice. He was shown a contract a lot earlier and declined it because he did not like the terms. This way he is totally in control. - not just with what he sings but in how it is done and whether or not he tours. He does have a band that includes his brother and two of his friends (Fearless) and has put out one album with them (he just recently competed writing music for a second album_. Dan's genius is in how he arranges the music and how the song is sung. If you want to start to get into Dan's music, he covers alll genres and I would suggest the following: Disney - I'll Make a Man Out of You, metal - Bring me to Life, Opera - Nessun Dorma, Witcher TV series - Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, Co\ver - Kiss From a Rose...plus there are many others.

Dans in a band called fearless, this guy can adapt his voice to anything. Since this release at Easter I watch it over n over just amazed at his voice. Checkout his other covers. Dan's father taught him the harmonica, sadly he's passed now. His earlier renditions and his chats are funny. He's a brill sense of humour such a lovely guy.

The harmonica he used belonged to his dad. About a week after losing his dad to cancer, he performed his dads favorite Elvis song, AMERICAN TRILOGY. With great passion and emotion, he performed flawlessly.

I would like to echo everything everyone else has said about Dan Vasc and his voice. He has made no secret of his hard work and why he has traveled the road of music, as is mentioned in some of his explanatory videos. He also left up all his early attempts to show his growth in singing and performing, which are fun to watch for so many reasons, including his humility. Other covers that I would recommend that I don't think were mentioned are "My Immortal" by EVANESCENCE and "Beyond Belief" with John Schlitt and John Lowry of PETRA. BTW thank you for your service! I was lucky enough to be introduced to Dan's music a few years ago by a Brazilian Dear. He is an amazing vocalist with a big catalogue of songs to listen to. I love his Witcher covers but many fans will lead you through his gems. He did not really break into the USA market until he released this song earlier this year.

“Burn Butcher Burn” is awesome, and I’ve never seen “The Witcher”, and so are his Phantom of the Opera songs, and I love his 80’s metal music. “Amazing Grace” was my first knowledge of him, and I’m always just amazed at his vocal abilities! He is a Christian, which is also refreshing, too. I’m totally impressed by his voice and his videos! He now also has a monetized RUclips video game series with some friends of his, and it’s funny! He’s also been doing what I guess would be a tri-athlete type of workouts and has really become a fitness professional. He’s got a goal of reaching 1 million subscribers, and I really think he’s going to get there! He’s a very interesting, hilarious, intelligent, and caring person.
