      Ha! That's for sure! The more mistakes you make, the more successful you'll become. Well, at least as long as you don't make the same mistake over and over again.. ha, ha... thanks for the comment!

    The suede clothes go on the block evenly and you secure it onto the block using a credit card to push the cloth into the slots, which holds the cloth onto the block.

    Nice video as usual. I think you accidentally used the Booster Spray instead of the Prep Spray for the preparation. But happens to the best of us. :-)
    It's awesome to see someone being able to do so much on their own, so my hat is off to you!

      Holy Crap! you're absolutely right... it is the booster spray. Wow, I don't know what I was thinking there. Great catch. Luckily I cleaned it off with Wax and Grease remover. I guess I was just too excited to get it down... ha, ha... Thanks for the comment!

    A rather good company for microfiber and car care stuff is 'The Rag Company '. I always thought your GTO was black until I read that article you shared on Facebook. Now I can see the green.

      Very interesting... thanks for sharing. Yeah, tough to see the green, but it is. :) Thanks again.

      Great question! And, I can't remember if I mentioned it, or not... but, I went over the emblems with the Ceramic too. :) Like Frank's Red Hot BBQ Sauce... I put that Shit on everything! Ha, ha... Thanks for the comment!

    How long were you waiting for after the first coat to apply the second coat?

    • @FastMonty
      @FastMonty  Год назад

      It was probably an hour... by the time I was done with the last panel, I started over again. Great question!

    Monty is your car Nightshade Green?
    I have a 68 Grand Prix 428 four-speed car that’s Nightshade Green but it’s a survivor so its way faded and your cars green is awesome!

    Hey i just bought the dr chip fix kit and I’m looking to paint correct chip fix and ceramic coating how do I go about that should I paint correct, then chip fix, let it cure for 7 days then ceramic coat? What’s your opinion on that the box says 7 days before coating, after the 7 days how should I go about prepping ceramic coating just wash it like normal then coat it?

    • @FastMonty
      @FastMonty  7 месяцев назад

      Great question! I would fix the chips first, wait seven days, paint correct (scratch removal) then ceramic coat. Hope that helps!

    Will this dramatically change the finish on a flat black car? I won't mind if it makes it more into a satin but worried if it will just throw off the finish.

      That's a fantastic question! I have no idea? Definitely check with Avalon King. Thanks for the great question!
