The one and only Dione Warwick! This is more than an episode. It is recorded history. She demands and deserves all respect for her contribution to MUSIC! My Regal Lady, Dione Warwick. Legend. ♥️🌹
I like how J. Valentine asked Dionne could he curse before he did the " I ain't saying no names " segment because I was wondering how he was gonna handle that part He showed her respect !!!
Ms Warwick gets a bad rap ever since she did reality tv. This interview showed her as an elegant, knowledgeable, feminine woman and artist. I enjoyed it so much! Thank you RnB money!
Personally, I don’t mind DW’s salty moments that went viral. They actually humanized and endeared her in the new millennial stage of her career. She’s hilarious. ✌🏽
For any POC artists from her time to succeed was already a miracle!! but remember...for WOMEN of colour was a whole other level...Dionne, Patti, Gladys, Tina, Aretha, Chaka, Diana, etc., sang one take sessions, then performed EVERYTHING they could, raise families, and mitigate abusive men at home, and in the industry. Watching DIONNE in this, is a RICH Archive of knowledge, experience, and stories over half a century of dropping hits too.
And Dionne was the first Black woman to win a Grammy in the “pop” category, she was the blueprint for so many artists after (including her younger cousin Whitney H). 60+ years of hits and sustained career
Fellas, congratulations. I’ve been a devotee of Dionne’s for over 50 years, I’ve seen all of the interviews and yours is special because you accomplished the impossible…you disarmed Dionne. Because you did your homework you managed to ask fresh, revealing, interesting questions making this interview stand out in a sea of others. Dionne NEVER makes it easy on the interviewer but you brought her out and got her to make new revelations. Dionne clearly enjoyed being with you both. The flow was seamless. Great chemistry. Well done. This is the interview Dionne’s fans have been waiting for for 60 years!
I hardly hear Ms. Gladys mentioned on this show. I'm so glad Ms. Dionne gave her props, although Ms. Gladys is her best friend. Ms. Dionne is the Godmother of pop music. She ruled the pop charts in the 1960's. They need to have more well-seasoned artist on here. So glad they did this with her.
Dionne Warwick is a LEGEND. This may have been my favorite episode. The musicality oozing out of her pores is evident. Thank you Tank and J for giving aunty D her flowers. Please continue to get our legends on the show so we all can celebrate them while they’re still with us.
This is how you honor legends while they are still here. Tank and The Valentine never over talked, validated her work, highlighted the fact that sight reading charted music is not an easy feat and Auntie Dionne did so in a way that her challenges to sing effortlessly timeless classics will never be repeated. Burt, Hal and Dionne created the standard that was MAGICAL! I'M STILL SMILING 🥰🙌🏾 Thank You RnB Money for THE GIFTS YOU BRING EACH WEEK! ❤🙏🏽❤

What an awesome and amazing interview with a true GOAT !!! Dionne Warwick is one of the classiest entertainers that I have ever had the privileges to meet.
