I love revenant, I'm gonna try this build. I was going more for attack speed and an omnivamp item to stay in lane more. I figured hitting that 4th shot more often was handy but buffing all your shots sounds handy, hadn't thought about one shotting ever!
Skysplitter, vanquisher, terminus,imperator, and the life steal/pen card idk the name gg yw, if they have lots of healing switch skysplitter for tainted rounds
Cool video. I think i have neglected tainted rounds way too much. Usually 2 other team member already build anti healing items so i never give it much thought. But the item stats themselvesl seems very solid , especially the part about magic damage which i have never really read before :D I am guessing the tainted rounds are really importatn in 1 vs 1 the other carry late game, where both of you probably have healing. On that thought, that is probably the most deciding factor between choosing imperator or Terminus as the last item.... Do the enemies have a lot of anti heal?
To answer your last question the deciding factor is basically survivability vs damage if you are getting chipped by poke or need the extra sustain to survive against tanks lifesteal is usually the better option if you just need more damage imperator if you need survivability and lifesteal isn’t enough then try a defensive option
Would you recommend going for Mesmer, Dread or Stonewall as your last item with Twinblast to replace Dust Devil if needed? Also what item would be a viable alternative for Demolisher if the enemy team is lacking tanks?
Also is it worth it replacing tainted rounds with a Crit based ability haste item in case there’s not much lifesteal, omnivamp or heal in the enemy team? If yes, which one would you recommend?
I would not replace dust devil on tb since he gets a lot of value from it. Demolisher is the best pen option for adcs unless going full power build tb in which case you get perforator tainted can be replaced for a lot of items but is always good just for the stats that it provides but you can try other items and see if stuff works for you
0 power item will never be meta it is fun though and has its place if some of the other stuff gets toned down Alittle or a 6th slot gets made I could see it being meta tho
@SoulRe4p3r Yea, some can go non crit or low crit. It's expected that crit on a carry is the most viable build, but in almost all other moba's going past a certain percent gives diminished value. Due to lacking stats other than crit. There is no reason in pred not to build 4 crit items because their other stats/ passives are just that strong. I think 1/4 of the crit items should lose their crit, and all crit item need a rebalanced stat distribution. The highest physical power item (60 Imperator) has crit. The highest lifesteal item (Terminus) has crit. The highest atk speed item (40% Onixian quiver) has crit. The highest flat pen and %pen items (12 vanquisher, 30% demolisher) have crit. There is no give and take for building crit. Most moba's punish you for building crit first item. Pred incentivises it with the highest stats.
@alvino098 I agree I think a big issue in pred is the 5 item slots and I also agree 100% crit should never be a good build so you have the point of crit should be the chance to do more damage not a 100% that you will crit
@@SoulRe4p3r if it’s serious then. Paragon, the original game. That was the deck building system that they used. Very very simple. But I liked it. Way more than overly complicated stuff that in order to learn it, takes time for stupid ppl like me.

But learning smite and all of the builds, cards, counter building, etc. Doing it again with this game. Just a hassle for my feeble mind. If you search up really old paragon games. Like gamers fitness group used to play it. It was an experience lol.

Sorry but these builds are trash... it's all the same build for every carry... Kira for instance.. I would never build this.. also why are you building adc with defenses? Stay in the backline and depend on your support. You shouldn't be getting hit.. you are there to do dmg and let the sup and warrior to take the dmg... your missing out on atk speed/crit/or pen. Don't build defense lol.
Ask any top player or top adc and they would all largely agree with me. You are more then welcome to disagree with me. These are the most consistent dps builds and ways to build Carry’s. As for why you build defense it’s a Situational build to counter certain aspects of what the enemy team wants to do you do not do damage any if you are dead and due to builds consisting of 5 items most are overloaded with stats resulting in 4 damage and defense option being very viable,But is not something you build every game to be clear. I would be curious what you build so I can further explain things to you.

I have seen so many people who have never even played paragon or a moba at all jumping on this from friend codes. What I'm trying to point out is that coming from paragon and smite. You would never hybrid build an adc. Just stay safe/position and know when to run in from the backline. You want full dmg/pen or sustain/crit. Maybe it works but it's losing so much more dmg that could be put out just cause you don't position yourself well. You shouldn't need to build these items as an adc cause you shouldn't be in the front. The only reason you would build defense is cause your scared of the jungle/assassin which still doesn't matter. You ward and don't push up. And during team fights hope your next to your support so they can't just waste you.
@@roxycottontail People looking up an outside resource to understand what to build I would argue are most certainly thinking because they enjoy the game and want to perform well. Just because you have seen many newer players that have never played a moba doesn't mean there isn't a lot of newer players that have moba experience and can understand basic concepts like a defensive option last. I have never played original paragon so I can't say much about it but from what I've seen and been told the item system was awful and as a former smite player there has been many metas were a defense item last was considered the best option and even to this day items like mantle of discord which is basically stone wall in pred has always been a good last item in certain situations. The damage lost isn't really that much especially if the result would be you 3 seconds of dps with 5 dmg items will often be less then 6 seconds with 4 damage items. and wards don't really play a factor since it's a late game buy last item so that point doesn't really even make sense. Saying play safe and positioning isn't necessarily incorrect but a very basic understanding of how team fights occur if the enemy players are playing correctly it doesn't matter how you play you will be pressured and it is your job to play around the pressure in some instances a defense option is the play you make to deal with pressure being put on you and is the most effective counter to what the enemy wants to do resulting in you getting the most value.

Comparing this video to mage video is, carries can flex with more items
carries kind of have 2 builds and 1 hard flex spot where as the mages have 1 build with 1 soft flex spot mostly

On revenant I like running draconium as my last item. Gives me power and armor as well as the ability to snowball in team fights

The 100% crit meta is gross.. I thought the carry rework was going add value to on-hit and pen builds, but it doubled down on crit builds lol
On hit is still very strong just crits tend to be better on most of the current adcs
