This Guide is absolutely spot on for anyone that is looking to get his journey started as a ADC.
Once you master all of the things mugi has mentioned in this guide your real game experience has only just started.
Good luck fellow carries and may i see you on the battlefield ♥
Nothing is more frustrating than when you're at the very first or second wave and your support who is probably new starts shooting the enemy team and disrupting the wave. Sometimes targeting of minions can be very janky. And it's even worse when your support is taking last hits or minions suddenly decide that they're going to do all the damage to the last minion
On regard of last hitting minions if this support does it it is indeed very bad, in regards of them hitting enemy, well it is his job to be a nuisance to the enemy carry and one way to do so is by auto attacking him when he steps up to last hit. As the carry, you have to get good enough so you can last hit even when minions are moving :)
Lmfao as a new supp player I apologize 💔💔💔💔💔
Jokes aside, comments like urs help give a different perspective and it is helpful for new players like me! Ur comment gave me some knowledge so thx :)
It’s like 50/50 currently if the supports last hit lol. Hopefully it’ll improve I’ve just adjusted my last hitting to match their autos to steal the last hits from them. Support players who auto the minions can be predictable so I just treat them like an enemy minion when focusing on last hits 😂
Ähm...you know, that the support ist supposed to hit the first minion waves in 9 out of 10 games, because Lvl 2 and 3 are so important. Only if you realize, you are in a hard counter match-up and won't be able to contest getting Lvl 2 before your opponents, because they are hitting too, you should back-up.
Ah aaaaaand: Your support is calling the shots on your lane, not you. Obviously he has to respect how you want to play the lane, but if you don't communicate it with him, he will play according to his experience and lane style and you have to adapt to it.
As a twinblast main it blew my mind why the enemy would jump me first now i see why
a bit late for fangbooth, but still got through it and this should help for the rest of tourney!
“You will have the protection of your support” shit I wish lmao, na great video tho! I’m going through all the videos to try understand roles a little better as I mostly play Mid or carry in any moba. Just thought the comment was fun as my team never seems to play the role they choose
I get you and feel you as well ^^ Hopefully more and more people learn about their role so the quality of everyone game goes up and we all get to enjoy more what Predecessor as to offer.
WRONG!
1. Do gold buff even though the team is pinging to attack objectives so that the enemy team can respawn and wipe your teammates because you weren't there to burn the objective.
2. Don't build pen throughout the whole game even though you are ahead so that your damage falls off late game and the enemy has 3 tanks.
3. Over extend and stay there when fangtooth spawns so enemy jungler can gank you and do objectives afterwards.
4. Spam abilities and autos into the wave that's perfectly frozen so the enemy carry doesn't lose out on farm.
5. Face check fogwalls even though you just saw enemy jungler pinging on your ward
6. Be on the frontlines so the enemy frontliners can all jump on you
7. After following all these instructions and you still manage to get double buff because the team is carrying you, just push a tower by yourself even though everyone based after objectives to reset or buy items so that you can get jumped and die with double buff. DO NOT wait for the team to come back to lane before pushing.
FOLLOW THESE TIPS AND YOU WILL SUCCESSFULLY STAY IN GOLD AND LOW PLAT
Youre the best
Point 3..
Respect early level transition
do you get more xp if you over extend to hit minions?
No as long as you are in range when the minions dies you get the experience. If you are multiple people in range of the minion when it dies you won't get the full experience for yourself. Currently the lvl 2 transition on duo lane is when only 1 minion of the second wave remains.
I always have the opposite problem to most people I think. I get good lane pressure early on but by being too safe I slowly lose an advantage because the carry I’m been beating the whole time starts roaming and getting a bunch of exp which is odd to me. Maybe I need to be more selfish and start taking waves if I can.
If you have good lane pressure that means the enemy carry should not be free to roam since if he roams he lose his towers immediately which open you up for roaming. Also with good lane pressure, you should have access to every gold buff which should put you very far ahead. So indeed it is a bit odd that you fall behind but maybe I miss-understand what you mean by good lane pressure because normally as a carry if you roam in the first 15 minutes of the game and the other carry does not, you should lose some farm unless you get kills.
@@mugiwawa08 I could be miss remembering things but I swear I’ve had a few games where exactly that happened. I’m usually pushing my lane into their tower and grabbing gold buff every time it’s up. I usually leave towers alive just to keep myself safe unless my support shows they want to be aggressive, but when I check the scoreboard expecting to be far ahead I’m not. Even if they only have a few kills and assists it seems even or sometimes they are ahead. I’m just not sure where else in the map they are getting farm unless they were constantly pushing other lanes and I just didn’t notice. Also it could just be a level thing but I actually have more gold? I’ve notice that before too so maybe it’s more in my favor than I think.
@@russellg9622 Always to tell without seeing what exactly unfold but maybe if we got more gold buff and don't get contested on the wave, I would say there might be improvement to be done on perfecting last hit since maybe we miss a few. It does not look like it but if we miss 1 minion per wave at the end of the game it is a whole 2CS/minute that is lost which is the difference between a bad 6cs/minute game and a great 8cs/minute game. Once again purely speculative ^^
@@mugiwawa08 that is a good point. I’m usually aware and only missing a few here and there, but maybe those misses are adding up more than I think they are. I commonly pressure the enemy before the entire wave is dead to throw them off but maybe the poke I get isn’t worth the missed farm. Something to think about, thanks 🙏
Your guide helped so much. I had a 17-0 game with Twinblast and I felt in control the entire game. My big issues were not controlling the wave and just always pushing but the biggest thing was me not pushing waves in other lanes and backing too much not looking for farm. It felt great cause even if my team wasn’t coordinating objectives effectively I felt comfortable finding farm the whole match.
What does crash the wave mean, and what is setting up the wave?
Crash the wave means that you clear the opposing wave and let your minion walk under the enemy tower that way your minions are going to be destroyed by the ennemy tower and that will create what we call a bounce back.
Setting up the wave is simply the fact of being certain in late game that the wave is not pushing against your team and remains on the enemy side. The main reason is that way if the enemy want to attack one of your tower they first have to push the wave back which leaves time for your team to react since minion wave give you minimap vision around them.
@@mugiwawa08 thank you for clarifying
You should show game play so my ADD brain doesn't get bored and watch a different related video. Which is what I am going to do
Thanks for the feedback even though I believe game play is better to keep bored brain interested but not to actually convey generic knowledge and principle and my goal is the later one.
The perfect carry is the carry who doesnt feed
Isn't it more the definition of the perfect teammate?
@@mugiwawa08 you right lol
Are you better to leave farm and wait under tower or take risks and possibly die?
No surviving requierements...tell hat my howie support 😂
Fair point ^^ Send him my support guide maybe he will help you survive after it :)
@@mugiwawa08 would if could, any chance on making an overall build video for all roles? What are the must play cards for each role?Would be appreciated as my friends and me seem lost on what to build when
@@aFragDowN I do plan to do specific guide covering hero in their respective role where I go in depth in their ability and builds but I am waiting for the item overall planned by Omeda to go from 5 items slots to 6, since I don't want the content I work hard on to become obsolete too fast :)
@@mugiwawa08 you make great guides so the wait will be worth it
I've got the feeling that it is more important to have a good aim than anything else.🙈😂 And I don't.🥲 So I will chill on the offlane or in the jungle, where wave manipulation or macro is more important.😅
