I want to mention to clear any confusion, DONT BUILD AZURE FIRST, its a last item finish, or a sell and buy situational item. Thats definitely the main concern. i may of not made it more pronounced in the video then i should have.
@sleepingvalley8340 I wouldnt necessarily do combustion late, flat pen In theory falls of late due to base armor increases per level. Usually sold for situational / scaling options.
@sleepingvalley8340 argus com isnt really that great tbf. mega procs far more often due to multiple hits in his entire kit. You could have strong 1v1s with it, but if your cooking your cooking am I right?
@@ObeyThePapayadoesn't coms internal cooldown decrease with instance of magical damage? Wouldn't that make argus a prime pick for com since you can spam it's cooldown with his machine gun ability and passive?

I think you finish Fireblossom first like 95% of the time. You're already picking it to provide HP scaling heroes a bump in damage, so leaving that damage on the table from bonus health feels pretty troll. I'd only not finish it if I'm up against a magic user (think Shinbi, Countess, Morigesh, Gadget) AND they are ahead. In this case I'd consider going Brimstone into Flux Matrix to give you the "effective damage" increase and some magical protections.
You can generally build using item passives, or build using things that scale on the same stat (movement speed, health, mana). Maybe comparisons between builds focusing in passives vs builds focusing on the same stat. For example, I've had really good results with a max health build with a immobile caster (The Fey). Orb of Enlightenment, Lifebinder, World Breaker, add a Megcosm and a situational in their somewhere as well, pick Tempest as your active and it does insane damage and healing, I've been able to 1v1 built Gruxs with this.

I have a mage build guide I've done recently maybe 1 patch old but builds haven't changed for awhile. But wraith leggings is a very good 2nd item. Pen, easy build path. Timewarp if u feel you need some haste as well, strong build path.
I come from smite and theres a item called Book Of Thoth that is builton ever mid laner for the most part. Book does the same as azoras, stacking item from kills that gives you % based damage that scales woth mana. My smite brain thought well both these items are the same and built on mids, it must be the best choice to get early lol I learned on my own that azoras is not a early game item even though it stacks , and stacking items are usally best to buy early.
Make a video talking about differences between mobas. I was all ove paragon back in the day and transitioned into smite. U could talk about laners not assisting the jungle on red or blue buff early, like you would in smite, stuff like that. Any way, nice vid!

Sorry, as a midlaner main, I have to STRONGLY disagree with what you said about mid building tainted scepter. If I'm going against a Countess, you rush that item. Specifically the tier two on that item. It helps to stop her healing through the early game quickly and without it, you can easily kill her and gain priority. Especially if the jungler will help with a gank. Also excellent to build against Khai/Grux jungle first item. They're nowhere near as strong early game, and can easily be killed by the midlaner with that one tier two item.
@@ObeyThePapaya it's not about the meta. It's about who you're going against. Countess isn't as good vs that item. Without it, she's simply harder and more likely to engage with you early. With that, she literally can't engage. It shuts her down if you know what you're doing. That's all I was saying. She's the only Mid where that item is priority.
@@tylermartin7136 her lifesteal goes off takedowns, birch isn't gonna help much early. What's good about tainted is the haste and insane damage it's passive provides of stacking malice early game. It's combustion on crack basically.
@@ObeyThePapaya you go from birch into scepter. But she still has life steal early, and it's strong. So, if you want to kill her, or gain priority, birch will help you bully her until you get tainted online. But it's the quickest way to shut her down.

@@nicholausstevens1262 now you can, but it only .5 seconds gone per tick, it's not insanely strong as thiught and it can go off on minions as well.

Crunch's ability cast time is simply tied to attack speed, so a small change either direction is really noticeable

Great information. For a newer player tho, it could be helpful to show the actual pictures of the items.
Brimstone and fire blossom also activate Basalisk passive armor shred as well

Whatever makes u get Ws is good, but full building azure is really troll tbf unless last item.

Does anti heal work on Greystone. I built Tainted rounds as the ADC and it never worked. He was immune and gota full heal off
Yes, i believe anti heal procs for 3 seconds, so if you hit him right before it ult, u should get him severely cut down HP.

That is true, explain leashing isn't needed. I haven't played smite though and didn't take league competitively so it'll be pretty tough for me

Breach is kinda lame much better crit items, mindrazor does what breach does but gives scaling, not worth building it tbh.
