Excellent tip. I was certainly overzealous with my twin-turntable technique, and totally neglected the crossfader. I have hung up my imaginary headphones in shame. -Chaz
A couple of dozen hours into Arydia and it is definitely in the top three for me. The larger game designers should take serious note to what Far Off Games have done here. Setting aside the awesome game mechanics, the amount of QOL and support FOG has done puts almost every (if not all) "AAA" designer/publisher to shame. A quick off the top of my head example of the QOL, every skill has a reference card with it that has that skills FAQ on the back. Instead of "wasting" space with art, they made the back functional. (As a note, it is possible they weren't the first to do this, but it is the first that I know of)
I love Faraway. I've taught it to about a half dozen others already and I've only owned it a week! I love the puzzle of scoring in reverse. Love, but am terrible at it. I haven't won a game yet. 😂
