Would love to see more of this kind of content from the content creator community. Not only for us seasoned players to learn bits and pieces but for those coming into the game. Please like and share this with YOUR community.
Thanks, it really is the goal here, try to share knowledge starting with the basic to elevate the level of the community as a whole so we all get better matches down the line.
Totally agree, I feel like every CC currently is just “Here’s the best build” and it’s literally the recommended items and an entire recorded gameplay. EDIT: Every CC besides Mugi. You’re the best bro.
I am bran new to this kind of game… I suck and go negative all the time die respawn die respawn type of thing. I’m trying but everyone keeps sending me hate mail and it’s like, game I’m bran new why am I going against people that know everything
This is phenomenal. I usually do look for guides as I do not have the time to learn and test stuff by myself, but at the same time, as others in the comments pointed out, there isn't really a true channel that focuses on knowledge and theory behind the game, much rather on gameplay and learn-by-example kind of things, which isn't always suitable for people coming from non-moba genres. This hits just what I, and I guess a lot of more people, want and need. I am really looking forward to other roles and guides you have in mind!
Also, if you are looking for bringing up the beginner side of the community to a competent player level, it would be really cool if sometime down the line after the roles you could address how to deal with exceptions, like facing a ranged offlaner or carry in mid. What to do if you are perma ganked, what to do if you are behind etc. I feel as like this is a big cause of frustration for the newer players, and as they are not happening every game, it is hard to come up with a solution by yourself.
Thanks a lot for the comment, happy that it seems I manage to hit the target I wanted with this series. I will keep working on them.
"It is not your junglers job to win your lane." Every laner needs to understand this .
Huge fan of this video style man. The info was also presented very well. You got my sub for sure bro
A lesser known aspect of trading is trying to clear wave before them then forcing them to fight you in your wave. Back early for a t2 item to get a quick spike then fight them with your wave to one them down
Great video, I’m going to share this with my friends that never played mobas before but this was a helpful refresher for me as well.
Great video. Would love to see content on hero specific item building. I feel like there’s a huge audience for this as I myself can be clueless. There’s so much content to go over including hero favored items and items to counter your hero (and how to counter them)
Lot of information on other mobas but not enough for pred yet
Good video
If you even have time would love to see a video talking about lane management (for all lanes)
I do plan to do one in the future after I finish all the role videos :)
Dude your guides are insanely good
Thank you, glad you like them.
Amazing content!I love the calculated explanation on the very crude drawing of the minimap
Glad you appreciate my artistic skills ^^
Great educational content. People, please share the playlist with any new players you know.
wow really high quality pred content, u are a great teacher. Keep it up!
Great guide I need it cus im new to moba. So these concepts help a lot. For example I have't really thought about the fact that offlaner is strongest in mid game, and yet i had great games where i was rotating for 2nd or 3rd fang because its a mid game and I had lvl and gold advantage so thats why i could have an impact in those teamfights even thought i never thought about it. Now i will be aware of it and use this tactic more often.
Also never really thoguth about ability advantage lol. it seems so obvious now but sometimes i would get bad trades and would back off, even thought the enemy had spent all his abilities. So it would make sense going all in if enemy misses an ability in early game, if he misses 1 or 2 abilities then you can go all in and win a trade easily.
p.s. please make the audio louder
Thank you, your comment made my day since it shows that I succeeded in what I was trying to do. Helping players have a better understanding of why they are doing certain action to help them play with more intentionality.
Solid content! Want more!
Thanks for contribution
Those a super tips for offlane! The early exemple with steel getting lv 2 before grux is funny for me, because i do steel offlane alot and if i get lv2 firts and i'm in a good spot in the lane i always attack right now and most of the time i get the first blood. The goal is to be the best bully early
Yeah early level transition is scary in the offlane.
Can you go more in depth on matchup specific early game trading? I feel like sometimes I go for a damage trade in the early game when I should have just stayed back because they have a stronger early game then my hero. I also feel like the minion waves play a huge role in early game trading, dying early can snowball you to a fast lost.
I do plan to do in depth champion guide in the future once the rework from 5th item slots to 6th item slots is done. When I do there will be a part about match-up in them :)
@@mugiwawa08 Thanks!
Thank you very nice video.
I feel like I suck. I know all these things already but still loose the lane 50% of the time. I only tried shinbi for the moment, maybe I should go with Greystone or Grux.
Thanks. Shinbi is a bit tough in offlane since you have to accept the fact that you always are going to lose the early game in almost all match-up. You have to play passive and want until you get your own power spike, usually around the time you finish the second item and then you can start playing. During the early game you should be looking at simply farming with your abilities ideally poking the opponent at the same time.
In general if you are struggling in a role, try different heroes in the same role so you get a better feel of the role in general but also will help you play against those heroes yourself if you have a better understanding of their strength and weaknesses.
Hope this helps :)
The guide I didn’t know I needed
I think the most important thing for end game is if you can't at least safely trade up, don't push
I just need to know what I am supposed to do when the enemy jungle is on the backside of my tower whilst the enemy offlaner oa pn the front side. O dont mean I got chased here. I mean this happens by 2nd wave of them game after ove gotten the minions to clash just in front of my tower. And they justbkeep it that way for 4 deaths. Like i cant get to lane becauae they both gank me between toer 1 and 2.
I neither ask for nor expect help in this situation. It would be suicide on the junglers part. So what do i do ?
Always hard to provide feedback on specific situation without seeing it happening but normally if you are healthy it is very risky for the enemy to dive you under tower even in 1v2. And if the jungler stay around without killing you, your team will pull ahead. So first thing is try to remains as healthy as you can, not damage trading too much with the enemy offlaner and keep your ability for the moment they dive you. Usually offlaner have some dash and CC which makes anyone diving you a death sentence for them. If they camp you between T1 and T2, well the distance outside of tower protection is short so if you play safe you should be able to reach your Tier 1 tower with taking minimal amount of damage. If they both sit there between T1 and T2 for a long time then you have the right to ask for help since it is a very bad positioning by them.
I am suprised you don't speak about state of the wave in Damage trading section (don't trade in ennemy creeps).
Do you think this is not as important as the 3 other points ?
It is indeed an important aspect that I forgot to mention which should have been included. Which is not really don't trade in enemy creeps but more pay attention to who have the creep advantage especially when it comes to ranged creeps. Good catch :)
thanks for that! Where does your accent come from? I am french an i perfectly understood what you said :)
I am French even though I try to not have a thick french accent ^^
Cinco 🙌🏼
im close to be a perfect offlaner but they are just better :)
what to do if you have a nice freeze and you face a hero that keep going mid and get kills even if you ping missing and carefull mid until you cant ping anymore :(
If it is the early game and you announce correctly the missing, your best move is still to freeze since even if your offlaner get kills he will fall very behind on experience. Later on in the match, if you see that every rotation of the offlaner still result in kills for the enemy team, you have to adapt by starting to push fast and follow the rotation. You might be a tad late to the rotation but you should be strong enough that at least clean-up a few kill which will allow you to carry future objective teamfight or split push while forcing at least a 3 man response against you.
Can you make one for jungler?
Finishing the carry one and the next will be for jungler.
The only reason these masters and diamond people stay in those ranks is because it’s such a tight community and all of those people usually only play when they have their complete five stack so of course all the masters and diamond league players are going to stay in those ranks forever Doesn’t mean that they’re better than average players that don’t get into a stack and go solo cute
I know plenty of Diamond and Master player that got there solo Queuing but your current rank is not really what matters if you want to get better. Focusing on improving without looking for external cause in case things do not go our way is the best way to progress since in the end the only thing you have control over is your own gameplay and mental :)
Just find your stack.
Said every hard stuck player ever.
cool!
Thought this was some kind of trading scam. Still don't know what it is but hey at least it's not what I thought.
What is CS in Pred? I can't figure out what the acronym means. Its not Gold, XP, or lane pressure and I've trying to figure it out.
Edit: Also, "It is NOT your jungler's job to win your lane." More people need to hear that.
CS is a term that refer to last hit. So it is basically the amount of minions you have successfully last hit which is usually a good indicator of your farm.
Creep score, creeps being the minions
So glad someone answered this, iv been hearing this everywhere
all heroes here are weak except for mages. ML has stun; Pred has mages.
This is like kids class for 9 yr old. If people don't understand the fundamental things, they shouldn't play this game.
That's a pretty aggressive comment. People have the right to be new at a video game. Everyone start has a noob, nobody understand the fundamental thing from the get go and those video are targeted for that audience.
It seems you are well beyond that level so there is probably other content not directed towards "9 years old" for you. RUclips is a vast place :)
@@mugiwawa08 new players are new players, with or without this video, it doesn't matter. Players who have played 300+ games still don't understand the game.
@@DinkyVinkiy New players are new players, well 2 is equal to 2 so for now we are correct even though we are not stating anything useful.
Players who have played 300+ games still don't understand the game, that's true since for now almost nobody really understand the game, myself included since Predecessor is a very complex game.
With or without this video, it doesn't matter, could be or could not be, I am just a simple man trying to do his best with the limited skill he has to help the community. I have received some feedback that it has helped some so I would consider my endeavor not completely useless contrary to what your comment suggest :)
Your concept would be the reason why this game doesn’t survive. You may have a decent understanding of mobas but you need to take a 9 yr old class on business Dinky.
