It’s easier to just roll them by hand. All these gadgecks looked like giant messes.
The Fonz yes, and all the gadgets took longer then I could do by hand then you’re also left with a mess to clean.
Only thing is sometimes you want very even meatball sizes
I use a cookie scoop to portion them and roll them so they are all the same size. Works fast.....
@@mrbear1302 That's what I do with a very light coating of cooking spray to keep the meat from sticking, and I reapply as needed.
Also, they look like they'll fall apart while cooking. You need to use your hands to make proper meatballs.
Overall best meatball gadgek, a pair of hands.

I was thinking about cooking spray as well. Also, maybe his mixture was too warm, if he had chilled it for a hour or so it might have helped.
Of course he hasn't, if he read the instructions or used any common sense it would spoil the buffoonery of it all.

There's a fill line for the silicon blue shaper. You overfilled it. The blue silicon shaper works great. Plus you can store them and freeze them in the actual tray.

I bought the first gadget.... once you get use to it, it works well and it's fast. But the meatballs are smal.
After the first attempt, I put a little olive oil in the device with a brush and it worked great. I just made 57 meatballs, all the same consistent size.. which is what I was looking for. I baked them and their ready for the sauce or I can freeze half and use them later.
Use an Ice Cream Scoop instead of buying a meatball gadjik

You need to put the blue thing in the freezer for a bit before you open it up and separate them
I like the grill gadget. The other plastic gadgets might work better if you oil them, or in the case of some type of batter use wather to prevent the batter from Sticking to the gadget.

Try sticking the gadget in the freezer, or have a bowl of ice water to rest the bowl with the meatball mix in. The meat was too warm, that’s why it was sticking and generally being uncooperative

You need to chill the meat before making meatballs. It stops them from sticking so much. Also a little oil on any of those gadgets would help.

i have this gadget which usually come in pairs...and wow they are so useful in fact they are great to use when you're low on a budget as opposed to these overpriced gadgets...and they are even multi-use - you'd probably be able to use them in most other gadget videos and they aren't even restricted to cooking can you believe that! what do you think my gadget is?
