      Right there with you. Although as a mechanical engineer I wonder why when making all these videos about the product, they never do a how its made on the incredible engineering that goes into building the machines that produce the product. Or videos on the poor bustards that have to go in and clean those machines. Most have to be disassembled every 12 to 24 hours and cleaned with an acid wash.

    I wish they would do an episode on how the manufacturing machine are made... I know they are custom-made, but who invents the different stage processes that results in the final product?

    • @kali-wolf
      @kali-wolf 6 месяцев назад +22

      This! You can learn a lot about it on RUclips, there's engineers that make videos about projects they're working on. Lots of parts are standard, too, for example the nozzles in this video that pipe the cookie filling and the cracker filling were the same/similar design. I've always wondered if any of the manufacturing plants in the videos are overseas. Lots of them get parts/ingredients that were assembled in separate factories, likely overseas (where China dominates the space).

      I used to make these machines as an engineer. My company was called Mazak! They’re leading global manufacturing specialists! The first ever machine made was very rudimentary but as technology has evolved so have the designs! While I did diagnostics and repair I also got to see a lot of the other departments such as assembly and manufacturing!

      Henry, I have wondered about this since I was a child. I've always loved watching how machines worked and wondered who the smart people were that made them. I guess I've always liked mechanical things and it was one of my best skills as I was in Mechanical Assembly for years and loved it.
      To this day I still tear apart things like a kitchen appliance just to see how it worked before it stopped working and how it was manufactured.

    I work in a food factory. Those bladed fans are not actually allowed in production areas because of the risk of duat and microbial contamination. We were docked on an audit for that and had to switch to all bladeless. Also, they should only be making one single cut on those ingredient bags. More cuts means more risk of paper contamination. This episode was more anxiety provoking than calming 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

      Keeping equipment and the factories clean helps keep the stuff functioning efficiently and keeps insects and rodents away.

      @@mygirldarby restaurants of all kinds are required to clean everything at the end of each day and for some pieces of equipment such as an ice cream machine or oven and grill need to definitely be cleaned daily because for an ice cream machine the serious risk of dangerous bacteria forming in the machine and making someone very ill is super high and as for an oven and grill along with the traps overhead has to be cleaned so there isn't any danger of a grease fire from any buildup of grease.
      The other reason to clean is so the business continues to have customers showing up because a clean restaurant is a thriving one plus rodents aren't attracted to clean restaurants , if a rat or mouse can't find any food scraps then they're less likely to hang around because they can't get to any food so they'll move on to another place in search of food.

    Croissants: I watched an Episode of Martha Stewart one time, when she did Hand Made Filo Dough,
    Don't remember how many layers she did, and she used butter, instead of Margarine.
    it looked like ALOT of work to do by hand. 🥴 but I guess if you really love cooking and baking, it wouldn't be that bad.
    I remember when pringles first came out, they used to have a white cardboard liner inside, and a metal pull top, with air pressure or a vacuum inside the can. maybe 1 or 2 chips were chips were broken, the way they do it now there are always quite a few broken.😔
