      Carl said that himself in the interview! But we felt that someone who has his level of following as a RUclips creator talking about some of the same issues we're talking about he would be an interesting person to talk to.

      NewRising Sun Stop labeling and mis-representing people's positions. Tommy and Sargon are allowed to talk, that hardly makes them mates, they were just both featured guests on the same protest. Tommy left both BNP and EDL as they started to attract racist people. He actually got for arrested for punching a neo-nazi that joined EDL while he was there, but the media won't tell you that because it doesn't fit their narrative. If you want to look at things with an honest head, take a look at Tommy's speech at Oxford Union.

    The best Sargon interview I've seen so far. If I were to try and explain to someone who had never heard of Sargon before, who he is and what he's all about, this chat would make a great introduction, probably more so than any one of his own youtube videos, because so many topics were hit on and dealt with well in a short space of time.

      I was thinking the same thing. It can be very hard to introduce someone to a content creator who covers such a wide range of hot topics. Also the use banter and spicy memes that are well understood to be jokes by regular viewers can also be misconstrued by new viewers.

      Peterscraps don't make the mistake of thinking what you see on the internet is actually representative of the types of conversations that actually happen in the real world. the internet is like a lense that magnifies the worst in people, I know I would never talk to someone in real life the way I talk on the internet. I'm screaming at an anonymous wall of text on a screen rather than having a conversation with a living breathing human being standing in front of me

    • @ravinglibertopian3226

    • @Fish4Man61
      @Fish4Man61 6 лет назад +2

      I agree, this is more how conversations should be made, educational where both sides can learn.
      I am just annoyed that Sargon made a couple of NEEDLESS blunders where he kept contradicting himself. Like censoring the speech of Muslims because of 'cannot spread the cancer' vs how that doesn't work for anything else for the same reasons... Easy and correct argument was simple, letting people in, and strong education pushes while here, reforms and dispersement for more integration for those currently on any sort of VISA system, outside of just well, self-cultured societies. Make them learn the english way of life, system. For those that are past, yeah - this is where the former comes in.
      But yeah, I just kept facepalming where I felt Sargon not one, not twice, but like three times made some serious blunders in his arguments, and I think it was because he probably never was in a position to think about them, and the correct principled response to them.

    • @sorsocksfake
      @sorsocksfake 6 лет назад +7

      Well (devil's advocate) the alt-right does have 2+1 arguments that deserve serious thought. I don't agree with them, but they're fair enough to warrant thought.
      The first is that this "racist idea" is one we - generally - would accept for other continents. Especially if, say, South Africa were to reject white immigrants because they want to stay majority black, we'd all agree. We'll apparently even be silent while they bully out their own white population. Somehow we get there's a problem with it, and we'll accept such racism. Perhaps we deep down get it, even if we can't explain it? Fair to suggest that on that same basis, we should consider doing the same.
      And the other is kinda the main notion. Recognize, white nationalists fundamentally agree with black nationalists (again the latter we seem to give a pass) in the US. The idea being that for some reason there just can't be peace. I think everyone can recognize that. And most "anti-racists" just stay on an eternal treadmill of "if only we do X, Y,Z" which never seems to solve it, and the costs do mount. When you keep fighting as a couple, it may be best to go your own ways. Even if you love each other and don't know what's wrong. Evidently, something is, deep down. And perhaps this is just the only way to solve it, and perhaps be able to keep caring as friends, instead of fighting as spouses.
      Thirdly, and this isn't quite alt-right but it does go in their direction and makes sense: it would seem that minorities mainly are a problem when they form a large group. Small minorities integrate, and for all intents and purposes become (in our case) white. Given that the alt-right does tend to conflate culture, race and color, I think we may hit them with it in reverse.
      It does stand to reason that by instinct, the individual will integrate into a new tribe. He can't live on his own, nor flourish with a small group. But the larger the migrant group, the better they can sustain themselves, so you'd get a bigger reason to instead form a colony (I doubt I need to argue why colonies are always bad news). More so this happens naturally: their kids can play together; the individual has no same-background peers.
      Likewise from the host tribe, small groups are fine, they'll integrate or perish. But large groups, especially when growing, become actual threats, both to resources and even militarily.
      These sentiments may not be realistic to us, but they would be deeply ingrained. Whether or not the hosts have tempered their side enough, we can debate. But it's without question that the major migrant groups don't integrate, and how could they?
      Thus the problem keeps growing. By this argument you can have some diversity, but all migrant groups must remain small enough to not form distinct identities.

    • @sorsocksfake
      @sorsocksfake 6 лет назад +7

      While leftists do, radical progressivism itself(as an ideology/memoplex) does not. To it, discourse is a threat, because it explores rival ideas that will inevitably defeat it. Same reason why religions are so prickly about heresy: heresies will destroy that system. It can only stand as a collective.
      Which is why liberalism is an anti-ideology.

      The guy on the left was infuriatingly thick though. He doesn’t get it. Carl wasn’t talking about the details of the Islamic faith. He was talking about Islamist IDEOLOGY and how it is interpreted and internalized by a large segment of the British Muslim population, and how this toxic ideology is proving culturally ruinous in the North. Yet the whats-his-name on the left kept yammering “oh I know liberal Muslims, blah blah” - that’s not the point you idiot!

We're not racist, we've been immensely tolerant, Westminster has never understood us or cared and we are dealing with some ugly cultural clashes up here. We'll either suffer for generations or we'll see civil war and I'm sure how that would pan out.

    This long interview format is right up my alley! Besides from Dave Rubin, there aren’t many channels that do these that I know of.
    What I especially like about the interview is that the interviewers briefly stated their stance on certain issues, and saying that they have this stance because of fear, empathy and other human things. This makes the interviewer vulnerable but more relatable. It broadened my view because it tells me more about why people do what they do.

    I would admit, like many of the right wing populist parties in Europe (which includes UKIP), they are not far right but between far right and the centre. They are hardly nazis! They are nationalist and want to sustain their own culture. You can see this in each country which has their own right wing populist parties in power (Hungary and Italy). They want to limit immigrants to sustain their own cultures, to keep their countries as there countries.

      I know you made this comment 3 years ago but I really like the way you put this! I think this aptly applies to the right wing side of America as well. An average right-wing conservative that isn't too far right usually just ends up being someone who wants to uphold american values. People like that are not always racist either. I've seen conservatives that didn't give a hoot what your skin color was or your sexuality they just cared about upholding freedom and individual rights. There's always going to be an extreme to either side of the political spectrum.
