just ran across this. It reminded me of an incident that I had in a MMORPG about 4 or 5 years ago. I am not going to name the MMORPG. What happened was that I made a female character and in her bio I said she was a lover of women. I'm pretty good at the game and got her to what at that time was a high level fairly quickly. I got an in-game message from a woman who played the game. She complimented me on how, as a woman, I was showing men that women could play the game and that I was a champion of Women's rights in the gaming community. I replied to her saying that, while I appreciated her comments, I was a man in real life. She did not reply to me. she tagged me for harassment. A moderator contacted me about it, I explained what happened to them and pointed out that when they thought I was a woman I was a champion but when they found out I was a man I became a harasser. The moderator thought about it and then asked me to remove the "lover of women" comment from my bio. all in all I thought it was hilarious.

Joe is a great conversationalist, he is like a good editor for a author. I'd say it depends on what type of content you do. If you do videos on daily events and she's repeatedly in the news then it would make sense that she would have multiple videos on her. And she has been newsworthy several times.

just ran across this. It reminded me of an incident that I had in a MMORPG about 4 or 5 years ago. I am not going to name the MMORPG. What happened was that I made a female character and in her bio I said she was a lover of women. I'm pretty good at the game and got her to what at that time was a high level fairly quickly. I got an in-game message from a woman who played the game. She complimented me on how, as a woman, I was showing men that women could play the game and that I was a champion of Women's rights in the gaming community. I replied to her saying that, while I appreciated her comments, I was a man in real life. She did not reply to me. she tagged me for harassment. A moderator contacted me about it, I explained what happened to them and pointed out that when they thought I was a woman I was a champion but when they found out I was a man I became a harasser. The moderator thought about it and then asked me to remove the "lover of women" comment from my bio. all in all I thought it was hilarious.

I can relate to the statement that when you find out about sexism, you start to look for it in everything because it just makes you so angry and then you grow out of this blind anger and start to think about it more reasonable. That's how I understood the full context of this quote.
@Millennial Falcon I disagree. In her videos she just reviews media from a feminist angle and I find her videos which I watched well reasoned. I don't always agree but I never felt that she wants to control me or the gaming world or anything. It's just ideas about problematic representation of women etc. Nothing to be scared about and I cannot find any statement where she says "You are not allowed to play this game anymore!" or "you yourself are a sexist for enjoying this piece of media!" Just some ideas to think about and if you disagree, that's okay. You are not a bad person because you disagree.
Joe is a great conversationalist, he is like a good editor for a author. Makes you specify the people in the story, stops you from digressing, getting too personal, he makes your stories more universal. Everyone should try and be more like that in order to make listening more fun. Although don't be sargon, at the start he was a bit rude.

I'd say it depends on what type of content you do. If you do videos on daily events and she's repeatedly in the news then it would make sense that she would have multiple videos on her. And she has been newsworthy several times.
