Thanks. I fully endorse the views of Mathew. Those Malayalee channels and panelists bereft of any understanding of the North especially UP just beat the bush and come out with funny arguments. As rightly noted, not the Rama temple issue, but the unprecedented development and progress in UP under Modi and Yogi work to the advantage of BJP/ NDA which will sweep the LS polls. The only viable force in UP, which is SP has also lost much of its clout because of the shift in the stand of sections of Muslims and OBCs. The BSP has become a spent force with certain vote base in Dalit pockets. In such a scenario , the verdict of Amethi is almost clear, the question is only the majority of Smriti Irani. As rightly pointed out, it may not be a cake walk for Rahul in Rae Baraeli. Of the 7 ACs, Congress has no major support base in any of them, albeit SP in 5 segments. But the crucial question is how far the local SP chieftains extend their wholehearted support to Congress which just like BJP is their main opponent in Assembly polls. No doubt, the BJP will use all its resources to defeat Rahul in the traditional bastion of Congress.
