HI! I am Leonides "Nides" V. Peña. I was a cabin crew for 27 years. I joined the airline in 1987 and have enjoyed a life of serving people since. I was promoted to Cabin Services Manager in 2014 and became the Asst. Vice President/Director of Inflight Services & Training Department in 2015. One of my tasks as the head of the department is to interview applicants for FA position. It breaks my heart whenever an applicant fails the hiring process, especially when the aspirant has potential but was not "prepared" or ill advised on the "do's and don'ts" of cabin crew application.
I hope I can somehow level the playing field by mentoring aspirants, especially those who I sense are cut out for the job, but need some "fine tuning".
In this channel, I aim to mentor FA aspirants so they can achieve their dream. Guide them so they can have a fulfilling career in the airline - spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially.
For me, being a cabin crew is a noble and fulfilling job. I actually consider it as one of the best jobs in the world. And if I will be given a second chance to live my life over, I will still choose to be a cabin crew.

It's very informative. I learned a lot and will apply po sa next application ko. I'm one of the PALexpress FA aspirants who went to the open day last Friday but unfortunately, I lack a centimeter in height. Still, I will continue to pursue my dream to fly and use this time to improve myself. Thank you so much sir for this video! :)
I learned from an applicant who failed to meet our minimum height requirement before that her height increased with the help of regular stretching and GLOXY (not sure if I spelled the brand correctly). She made it this Open Day.

HI MIKE! The minimum age is 18 years. With regards the maximum, there is no limit as long as the applicant still looks young and is physically fit to do the job. I hope this answers your question.

Is the aspirant a Philippine passport holder? If yes, she can apply.

Hi Nasberin Vlogs! For the ladies, our minimum height requirement is 5’3” but for the gentlemen is set at 5’6”. At this time, our airline is not inclined to flex the rule. But this should not stop you from pursuing your dream. Other airlines have a lower requirement.

Hi John! You should be able to converse in English. Practice lang para ma-build ang confidence mo. Sanayan lang yan. May kilala nga akong hindi marunong mag-English dati pero nung nagtrabaho sa call center, in a few months, English speaking na.
