- In first video i will be using a microwave transformer to convert 220v AC to 12v DC 1000 Ampere by secondary winding modification for high current DC motors. In the second video i will be salvaging a 24v 10A transformer from an old reflector box. In the third video i will be using an old transformer and modify it into an electric generator 220v.

I especially liked the last project, the one in which it took 16x3.7v 18650 batteries, made a load of mess, managed to semi-illuminate a light bulb, operate a 1.2v motor and charge a mobile phone..... Amazing!!!

Removing the shunts will improve the efficiency, those are only used in the original microwave oven application.
Can we use this for 600w amplifier? Will it be best powersource in budget?

Reduce your secondary windings by three and increase the wire gauge by one size larger this should solve two problems, the voltage problem and the overheating on the primary which is going to get hot anyways but you could put in a thermal resistor.

Can you put the brand name and type/model of the thick yellow wire in the description or type it in as an answer to my question? Or in simple terms what is the conductor's area and the number of copper strands.
looks like #12 stranded. I'm unaware of any such 'strand count'

Hello my friend. If I have 2,000 volts at 30khz how can I run this into a microwave oven transformer and get 120 volts 60hz out? Is it merely placing the resonant capacitor in parallel with the transformer ? Do I need a spark gap or thyristor? What kind of capacitor should I use. Thank you. I asked this on the mr. electron thing but I think you did not see that part. Than you my friend.

Your output voltage reads hi because of the capacitor you put in that's not a true voltage what's needs to be done is to put a bleeding resistor across terminals of capacitor to give proper reading also any diode or bridge rectifier will cause voltage drop by two volts or more seeing you used two bridge in parallel

Help I carried out all the instructions but I am not getting any output current on my home made secondary winding how does current transfer itself from the primary to the home made winding
Did you use laminated windings. If yes, then there is possibly wire shorting in the secondary

El tercer "invento" me parece ridículo, ya que en lugar de cargar el móvil con lo que genera el transformador, puedes usar el banco de baterías para cargarlo solo haciendo la modificación en dicho banco que quede en 7.4 volts y con un simple circuito 7805 regular el voltaje para alimentar la carga al móvil.

too sloppy for the standards that apply in Serbian electronics schools. The wire connections are loose, the wires are packed messy, the whole seed is sloppy, but it works as important as possible. the constructor is young I think it will improve in a few years.
add turns to your primmry it will bring down secondary voltage down and the transformer will not get as hot extra turns to primery makes big diff in heat

On the phone charger video you at least showed the principle of magnetic induction and the operation of a simple generator,.although you did not explain any of the theory. You seriously would have been better off just hooking up straight to the phone side of the charger plug to one of the 18650 recycled laptop lithium batteries instead of using around twenty of them to drive a 1.5 volt motor. What a waste. But you were probably right to do it your way, you might not have put the wires on the battery with positive to positive and negative to negative. You had the probes connected backwards when testing the MW for output in the first video. Seriously, you should practice and study s lot more before making another video, you might cause someone to injure or kill themselves. I'm all for people learning about electronics, but your video should have a disclaimer saying dont try this yourself because I am inexperienced, unprofessional and unsafe .

This is very nice video how to NOT do things. If you don't have enough skills to do things safely, please, do not put it publicly on internet. This is REALLY HORRIBLE! You can easily catch the fire with this wiring. Btw, 1000A from your description means cca 60A on primary coil with this thin wire.
