- Far Cry 7 featuring Cillian Murphy is coming from Ubisoft, The official announcement will be due on upcoming Ubisoft Forward in June, but before that we've just received leaks of upcoming new Far Cry 7 villain Cillian Murphy being played as the voice actor and we also have the entire story plot leaked as well which features a 72 hours of playtime for the game. From the leaks it seems like this could be most unique story narrative in all of far cry games so far. My fear with this “72 hour timer” is that Ubisoft saw what happened with lackluster Farcry 6, and are on a tight schedule to push the game out. So implementing a 72 timer forces gamers to play strictly to the story while still being “open word”. So all focus will be put into the main story and none into the environment/side missions/exploration (basically everything that made the best Farcry games the best for a reason).
People crying that straying away from the story has no consequences in game.. now it does… people still crying

The amount of work that goes into creating the Far Cry series is just stunning and all of their owners, employees & contractors should be proud.
I'll get FC7 for sure, but I am a little worried about a fixed timer coz I like to really wander and absorb the ambience of the environment, and get lost in the feeling of the game, as I work through missions.

I'm glad i started my Far Cry experience by playing first ever Far Cry New Dawn, it was the best from them for my personal likes, and i tried after FC5 and FC6 wasan't the same,FCND is the first game i finished 100% in my Gamer life and i play for like 20 years on pc. I wish they would continue the Twins story from the game, because i didn't chose to kill the other one so she run away, maybe maybe.

The 72h timer really reminds me of Dead Rising, where it was actually suited for that kind of game. But for Far Cry? With x3 times bigger map than Dead Rising? Not a chance.

The details are amazing, but somehow the sun lighting here seems too much shadow like in afternoon ambience, unlike in FarCry 2 & 3 are the best gameplay and the exploring mood is unbeatable compare to advance versions.

Imagine a Jason from far cry 3 (main protagonist who comes as a skydiver and finds out he is quite capable serial killer/tool of mayhem and genocide) become a villain for a far cry series... With same twisted, but intelligent/charismatic character as was Vaas. Damn...
Things I think made far cry 3 so iconic besides the villain. The animals, the wild fire, the healing animations, the spiritual element, the takedowns, the set pieces. Far cry 3 made you feel like a man vs an entire island. Having a tiger attack you while stealthing an outpost only for an exploding barrel to cause a wildfire that spreads to the forest around you was the chaos that we were able to tame. Far cry has lost the animals and the spiritual element and is starting to turning into a genetic shooter. The tribes spiritual beliefs were literally our progression in the game, in far cry 6 the triada is a side mission to get a mystic jaguar, guns and equipment. They need a country that has a variety of animals and some kind of deep spiritual element that plans an effect on the main character. Far cry was about a warzone set in a place not touched by the first world

I don't know about everybody else, but I like the far cry games. Now, not all the stories are as strong as the earlier ones, but I think that because some of the early villains were so good, it has been really hard to top them. But there is something familiar about far cry games. When a far cry game comes out , I know the next month of my life is going to be monopolized, and I don't have to worry that I just paid 80 to 100 bucks for something I am going to finish in 2 days and then be aggravated I spent the money. Even if it's one that the story isn't so strong, I am still going to be able to dump a bunch of hours in it, running around doing treasure hunts, playing wacky missions, securing pets to buddy around with and at the end of it, whether it is one of the strongest or one of the weakest, I feel like they tried and that's more than I can say for some of these other companies, when it feels like they lied to me, pistol whipped me, and stole my wallet all at the same time and as they are running away, they are screaming, oh yea, make sure you buy next years game.

The storyline is kinda the same as usual. It is just like Assassin's creed games, the same. Ubisoft must come up with new storyline. It will be interesting in terms of hiring some well known people to gain more interest for their new franchises, but in terms of storyline, I can imagine everything will be close to Farcry 3 and other Farcry franchises.
I've played every FarCry and if they stick with the time bomb, i'll pass on this one
If this is all true, they achieve to even become worse.
The FarCry concept would still have so much potential for story, characters, locations, environmental storytelling without getting repetitive like the last games. But it's ubisoft, the just don't care anymore

For Far Cry 7, I have a unique idea for the story to revolve around the Seven Deadly Sins. The game could explore the theme of sin and its consequences by featuring seven main antagonists, each representing one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
For instance, one antagonist could embody the sin of wrath, while another could represent the sin of gluttony. This would provide a rich and diverse range of villains for players to face off against.
To make things even more exciting, I suggest that Willem Dafoe could play the role of the main antagonist, who is pulling the strings behind the Seven Deadly Sins. His character could be a mastermind who uses the sins to manipulate the world around him and achieve his goals.
Overall, I believe that this concept would allow for a thrilling and thought-provoking game, which would be both challenging and engaging for players.

Okay it sounds like Far Cry 3 all over again like everything else in Hollywood they just repeat their best and probably make it their worst... What happened to the North Korea setting that everyone was so set on like 3 months ago?!😂 I mean I'm flattered that they're going to name a Far Cry character after me finally I would do good in that situation if I do say so myself but damn I was hoping for something a little bit different... I was actually hoping we could get a desert environment again like the Australian outback or even go back to Africa

Even though l am a fan of the Far Cry series l probably won’t be getting Far Cry 7 for one major reason and that is the 72 hour time limit they placed on the game no developer is going to dictate how l spend my time playing their game by rushing through their game by their fixed time limit l hate games with time limits l like to take my time playing the game l like to take time to explore l like to take time to level up my character with experience and skill points to make character stronger l bought the last game in the Final Fantasy series with the Lightning character and they had a time limit with a Countdown Doomsday Clock in the game l hated that clock you had no time to explore and the worst part of the game is you had no time at all to level up your character so every place l went my character was way underleveled against the enemies my character would die after two hits l am not a big fan of grinding in a game because it gets old fast and tedious but sometimes it is necessary to level and take on stronger enemies and even though l love the Dishonor series the same developer did a game called Deathloop even though the graphics and gameplay look great the game is played on a timeloop l am not going through doing that so l didn’t get the game l just hate games with time restrictions and time limits placed upon them l mean l have to play a game faster just because a developer said so no l am not doing that
