Renault Clio MK3 1.2 TCe 100 - Acceleration - RPM

It is hard to find information about this engine of the Renault Clio mk3 on the internet, so I am showing you what you can expect if you are thinking of buying one.
Despite the smaller engine size the RPM is quite low at usual speeds which of course means that for faster acceleration it is better to change to lower gears. The consumption is also great especially under 110 km/h.
-Quick demonstration of the RPMs in different gears at different speeds.
-Acceleration from 50 km/h to 90 km/h and 90 km/h to 130 km/h in different gears.

Daniel, your clio has a problem with idling? I want to buy the same car, but when I press the gas pedal at idle speed, the engine has a problem with the revs increase. it chokes for a moment, you can hear the engine cushions rattling and only then the revs start to rise. can you relate to this problem? Sorry for my english ;)

As I know this engine idles at unusually low rpm. I do not have any problem with it, but if I quickly hit the gas for just a moment it sometimes hesitates a bit. It hasn't caused any issues in the last 60k km.

It could stay below 7 if you do not go too fast and the trafic is normal, otherwise 7.x I would say, if it is only highway.

Hi,
Yes, everything is stock. It is the 76kw version, I think this one might have a different gearbox. It is JH3342 if I am not mistaken.

I mostly use it out of the city, on the highway it is around 7 or higher, depends on the speed. On country roads it is closer to 6.
