trooper. was a fantastic reaction. there was one other reactor i saw catch the rain reference, but it blew me away because they caught "turns a saint into a sinner, a child into a killer, with his finger on the trigger of the money game. rain rain rain rain". its like this entire song was expounding on that single section of MG1. And now ill never listen to MG1 the same way again.

Jimmy was a tragic figure. I felt terribly sorry for him. He never got his dad's approval, and he had no meaning, no purpose in his life beyond making wealth. No love, no friends no spiritual life. And YOU dear man, I love that like Ren, you are an empath. It's hard to feel others pain so keenly, but it is beautiful too. As Ren would say, "be well within yourself !"

Welcome to being a Renegade....been listening for months...it all starts with Hi Ren then down the rabbit hole. I'm a poet and musician and did I say I'm 71 years old? Ren touches my soul...his lyrics...what can I say. I talk nonstop to my therapist about Ren. He is an exceptional artist and I never understand the one's who don't get him. They are drifting out of my circle...one by one. I want his vinyl...soon...still have speakers up to my chin. Lost my daughter and husband recently. They would have loved Ren. Your reactor video is heartfelt as well. A true Renegade my friend.
The violins and cello (for me specifically the cello, I love it) really drive home the seriousness and sadness at that point in the song. Was looking forward to your reaction and wasn't disappointed at all 💜💜😊

Thank you for your genuine and heartfelt reaction. Money Game Part 3 is, in my opinion, Ren’s best work to date, and the bar he previously set was already incredibly high to begin with. It is an amazing and thought-provoking piece of performance art. At the beginning of Jimmy’s life, “one year old and his first words were’ mine, mine, gimme’; two years, old he was walking; three years old, walking quickly; four years old he was running around the pavement of his city. Then, “40 years old, and he cursed the words ‘mine, mine, gimme’; 41, he wasn’t walking; 42, not walking quickly; 43, never running around the pavement of his city.” ROM (@ROMsquad) during their reaction pointed out the irony that Jimmy was focused on chasing wealth and fame only to lose his ability to run as a result.

I haven't finished yet, but I am fully enjoying every minute of this video. I don't understand why creators worry about videos being too long. I enjoy the time I spend with you, hearing your opinions...especially when it comes to something like this. But, I wouldn’t not have RENs music in my life. At 68, I’ve found pleasure in music again, it# a delight to know there’s still real poetry & musical genius out there. REN, Aurora & Dimash, all bring musical joy into my life.💞

As for this masterpiece…Phenomenal!! The piano…the strings…the details!! When Ren is in the chair and he said the part about the hand in the cookie jar, take more than you need…it took my breath away. He is magical, and this is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life!

Trooper here! I would love to hear a conversation between you and Ren; you have such like hearts. Your Hi Ren reaction was one of the first reaction videos I ever watched, and I fell in love with you then. I'd love to see you go into Ren's whole catalogue.
When the car beeped and you told it to shut up, then paused... and appologized to the car. That is why I come back here 😊. You dont hold back your emotions. But you always try to express them in a kind and gentle manner. This video definitely had me frazzled while watching it and I might have lashed out at a random car horn if it interupted me also 😂 but it was the pause and the appology after is what really sets you apart as a kindhearted person. This video was and still is a hard one for me to get through. I dont like guns and when he gets to the end and is casually waving the gun around I have a very visceral reaction to that. And yeah... the waterworks start about half way through the music video for me also.

Never be sorry for tears or lengthy reactions. A litteral musical epic unfolded in front of us. It's "just" a song doesn't fit. 🎉 to you for breaking it down while we all broke down. I was teary eyed as soon as he was "unmasked" and perplexed as the story was revealed of the life of Jimmy. This is awesome! His Sick Boi album/cd release is spectacular with tracks like loco, wicked ways and sick Boi part 2 you'll love it. Peace and the best of tomorrow's.

Y'know man, I sat down in a night and watched a bunch of your reactions to Ren. It was very interesting, inspiring, lovely, comforting, relatable, to watch you become more comfortable sharing how the music made you feel.
I really like how you recognize the effect that the music and his voice have on your body just naturally driving the emotion and making your body feel things you might not expect from 'a song'.

Another trooper here - waited to watch your reaction until I had time to properly sit down and appreciate it - and so glad I did. Another beautiful reaction - when it comes to Ren, never hold back the tears as that is a huge part of the experience it seems - I've lost count of the times I've wiped tears away.
The writing through the whole song is sensational but when the strings kick in, they transcend to an entirely new insane level.
I struggle to get my head round how Ren can see centuries old human behaviour and society throughout the world, completely deconstruct it and smash it to pieces then proceed to hold a mirror up to us the viewer and the world at large so we can see the damage we are doing and the dangers that lie ahead - and then lead us to a possible solution - in the space of NINE minutes.
They should be teaching "the works of Ren" in all educational establishments.
I absolutely love your channel, I'm so overjoyed that watching Ren' videos, reactions to Ren and people who love him, has brought me to your channel. I only began watching reactions this year, after I found Ren, and it's opened something very free for people. what I really appreciate about Ren is the emotional response I feel towards not just the lyrics of his songs, but all other parts as well. the music, the tonal change, the imagery. everything he does is so well planned and thought out and is such a perfect expression of what he is trying to convey. absolute genius. this one still has my jaw on the floor.

I have to share something with you. My mother was raised during the depression time and she always used the phrase grocery trading instead of grocery shopping because that is what they did years ago. They traded things for groceries.

Yes, that's Ren playing piano at the beginning! He also composed the music for piano and strings! He directed the video and produced the music/audio. It was recorded live but it's not quite one take. They had to make a single edit, before the water, as the 'rain machine' was being tempermental. :) Yet another incredible and masterful performance from Ren and overall, an absolute masterpiece... again! :)
