This is a walk around of my 2008 Dodge Charger RT I just picked up. I will be making more videos over this car in the future so stay tuned!

Wth did you get that car?!!? $4500 is a really gd deal, I bought a 10 police package for $5600 w/120,000 mi . I figured I got a pretty gd deal but of course it doesn't have leather seats OR a roof ( Im kinda pissed about that). Nice ride again where did you get that from?

I just bought a rt charger 2008 my first car got for 6,500 with only 83k miles I’m so happy with it. It’s dark grey with black tented windows and I’m getting all black rims soon cause idk if I want to spray paint the factory rims. I LOVE IT btw I’m 18 that’s why it’s my first car

4,000 actually in my opinion is great. it's a v8 and has a package. In my opinion also, black rims would look tough on it. I'm bout to start driving and I am looking forward into buying one of these if I get the chance.

The prices on these older chargers change so much! I bought my 2007 charger SRT8 last year for 11.8k , and now they are pushing 20k ! They rise and fall often, so I think you got a good deal too as long as you love it !

Hell yea man you got a great Dill I bought a 06 not long ago it’s very nice car it’s still like a new car but I had to give a lot more for it but you made me feel a lot better when you-said they still get around 10 k I had no clue what it was worth when I bought it but i do now and I love the car more than I ever liked any car I put the 44 flow master on mine for a 06 it’s lit a brand new car just like your with new paint job an racing stripes Anyway you got very lucky on your car love it also

I just got a 08 sheriff’s car, it has a K&N CAI, Flowmaster Outlaw mid muffler and a resonator delete, with a 93 Diablo tune. It feels really quick, I wonder what it makes to the crank with these add-ons?

I’ll be posting a video in a day or two on why you should buy one ! A decently priced one atleast, most people still try to sell these for a lot, but if you can find a Hemi for under 6-7k it’s a must 💪🏻

Yooo!!! this is so crazy I have been searching around for a 2010 srt8 charger, I saw the lisitng on carfax for literally the black one you had in your video from okaz motors!! What small world lol.... I live in Oklahoma and I was planning on heading up to elmhurst to try and get a deal on the black srt8, because it has low miles and also 09-010 is when the fixed some of the issues with the chargers from 06-08. will the staff at Okaz work with you? and do you know if they would come down on the price at all? $23,995 is kinda steep the car is really only worth $20,000 Thanks man this video is awesome!
They had a great collection but didn’t seem too flexible on the price. The first sentence out of there mouth to me was “so how much you putting down ? You got to have a hefty down payment on one of these.” And they also would not let me test drive it without them running my credit. They have nice cars, but I bought my mint 2007 SRT8 Charger for 11.8k at a dealer last year, Okaz has over priced there stuff. 19k for a 2006 SRT8 Charger ??? Yeah it had only like 70k miles but it sat out allll winter and the car didn’t even start when they were giving me a “tour” of it. Battery was dead.
Also they hit me with the “these will sell quick.” And I’ve been looking at the 2006 red Charger there since September lol still there. Over priced man, maybe email them and try to get the price down.

What’s the name of that place?
I have an 07 RT the rod bearing spun and chewed up the crankshaft really bad. I’m like 2 weeks away from repairing it can’t wait the drive mine. Nice video.

The only thing that you got to watch out for is your valve seats they tend to drop if the engine gets too hot and when that happens say good bye to one of your pistons.
Ive had an 05 Magnum Rt, 08 Challenger SRT8, then had to sell it when I moved up north due to snow and SRT8s do not Cooperate.. so I drive an 07 Chrysler 300C AWD... have loved all of those cars.. Im guessing a Charger will be next lol
I love the Hemi Magnums 💪🏻 a car that I want but idk if I’ll ever get. And yeah I’m im Chicago, my old SRT8 Charger barely survived lol I’m sure this RT won’t be too much better 😂

Nice deal, make sure all the factory recalls are done, including the gas tank. The tanks are bunk in all Dodge cars in that era, gotta be replaced. Dont worry it's free lol, lifetime warranty.

That’s dude! I bought it off of Facebook in Indiana ! You still got a good deal for sure. These chargers are weird, sometimes they sell for cheap (like 5-6k) but then other times I see people buying them for 9-10k .. all depends on what it’s worth to you !

I got the same exact car in tor red.. lol 2008, but mine has 89k miles, i bought it for 20k back in 2011. unfortunately mine got hail dmg. Saving for body work and a respray.
The guy I bought this from was the 2nd owner, bought it in 2010 for 27k believe , only had 15k miles on it. The Tor red color looks so good, especially with some black wheels. Sadly mine does have a little bit of rust starting on a quarter panel, so I’m getting a shop to fix that for a video soon.

Thanks man! It was a dealership in Illinois, believe it was called Okay motors or Okaz motors. Awesome selection but they were 19-25k .... had no interest in lowering the price. Kind of pricey for a 2006 SRT8 but they were nice cars for sure.

I just snagged an 06 rt thts clean n has 111k on it no tick no leaks. It's already got c.a.i mid muffler delete n diablo 93 tune. 85mm throttle body is on order. Edit ...4800 cash btw

Honestly any healthy HEMI under 6-7k is a steal in my opinion! Don’t matter the miles to me as long as it’s well maintained, the problem is a lot of people beat these up so it’s hard to tell lol. 2800 is a crazy deal too!
I haven’t done much modifications to my past car but I have a few videos for this Charger that I’ll be posting soon !
@@Chowcago yes the women I bought it off of had some shade tree mechanic tell her the cam bearings were going out. Was only the water pump. Runs amazing

I got my charger from a private seller online, a dealer would have probably doubled the price, because they are a lot more expensive sadly. I suggest looking on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace !

Does the r/t logo on the front of the car come with it stock or is it after Market
It’s stock for the Road and Track package version.

If I’m correct the Road and Track package has like 10 more horsepower and torque, nothing major.

Drove to Indiana to pick it up ! I got lucky on the price, I’d say these average between 7k-10k if they are in really good condition. It’s definitely worth being patient to find a good deal! Any other questions just let me know ‘

Shit the 08 tunnel gauges look way better than the gauges in a newer car i think 2011 & newer guages look like every new car on the road gauges,,boring &the same simular look.
I have a 2020 R/T, and I wished they had kept the R/T on the seats. The other V8's have what their car is on the seat.

Bro that happened to my 2007 SRT8 Charger ! Part of the reason I had to sell it. I took it to a few different mechanics and it didn’t throw any codes. Could never get it fixed. I’m thinking it was a PCM problem but idk...
camshaft position sensor possibly? I’ve had that issue before, I own a 2007 Dodge charger R/T and a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Sometime you can have oil leak onto the sensor and your car will legit shut off while driving, and it’s randomly. I’d definitely look at that, they are usually cheap especially if you fix it yourself like I tend to do on my cars 🤞🏽

Seriously, I have been considering this or a Magnum since everyone is selling them off so cheap.
Those V8 magnums are on my list too !!! Those are harder to find in my area.
@@Chowcago picked up a 05 magnum at the time I think it had like 140 on the dash. Sticker was 4 I got it down to 3 with a 3 month warranty. Put it on the lift to see a full exhaust and literally sounds like a lion. The hatch is soo worth it bro I got a 12 inch sub and can still fit 3 laundry baskets or whatever with no issues plus you can sit on it at tailgates.
I have a 05 dodge magnum rt it currently has 153k miles on it.so far things ive done to it is
Mopar cold intake, straight piped it, drill and sloted rotors, its tune with the diablo tuner, have 22s on it with a loud ass sound system.these cars are good just gotta maintain them.
