I’m lookin at one that is only for 3,5k Buh I offered 3 grand for it and she said yes has 186 thousand miles on it super clean and well cared I think I should buy what y’all think?
you are EXTREMELY lucky for finding that one as clean as it is for only 4.5k. that price is insanely low. all i see are shitty ones that either have a horrible condition body, problems, a super worn out interior, rebuilt title, etc. i can only find like 2 or 3 that are in good condition for 9k-10k for an RT. people just do not take care of these cars lol. i have a 2008 charger V6 as of now and i’m 17 years old. just got it as my first car a day before my birthday. paid 4k for it. absolutely no rust and no body or interior issues except for the paint fading on the left side of the car. i want to sell it next year and save up enough money for a v8 but i don’t really want to get a job just yet because i’m focusing hard on school. anyway my point is, is that it’s crazy you found one for that cheap. you’re insanely lucky my guy. i saw an almost perfect looking 2007 daytona charger for $6500 a few months ago and it sold in about 4 hours lol. the 2006-2010 chargers in good condition are hard as hell to find and if you do find them they’re sold in just a few hours or so

Don't sleep on the Police Pursuit Chargers----you can find them at auction from police departments or used on lots and from private sellers. The V8 version is basically R/T mechanicals----with beefed up alternator, oil cooler, suspension----maybe even more side impact protection from what I have heard. They are sort of plain Jane, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing----it's a canvas for customization and underneath, it's R/T performance with law enforcement enhancements. Since a lot of people don't want a former police cruiser, I believe they often sell for less than the Civilian Chargers.
Wrong! What issues? The 09 and up Eagle motors develop lifter and cam lobe issues. It's far far worse and more widespread than the valve seat issue. Most people with the first gen racked up nearly 200k miles with no issues. Few had valve seat issues because they overheated the motor!
@@Chowcago sweet I personally don’t like white on the charger I got the grayish metallic color It’s called Granite Crystal Metallic Clearcoat love it got it polished looks amazing with my srt8 front bumper and hood love the front the most

Alright guys help me out. Currently looking at a 2007 charger With the 5.7. Has 153k miles. Interior looks amazing especially for the age ( at least it does in the pictures ). Thinking of trading in my 09 Lexus es350. Should I switch from Toyotas super reliable 3.5L to a hemi ? I honestly don’t know much about the hemi engines , I’m sure they’re great also. But idk how they are when the cars been used for 153 k miles ya know ?
That’s a tough question. The charger is my dream car, so I’d go for it. BUT statistically speaking, it’s probably a lot smarter to keep the Lexus. That’s tough though.
I'm still waiting for mine to leave the workshop due to some rear swaybar bushings that my uncle, who's a mechanic, hasn't been able to find... As I live in Mexico the stock ones apparently do not fit properly and it takes zillions of years for the parts to arrive. Mind you it's a 2009 RT. If anyone has suffered from this issue please some help would come in handy
I felt bad and sold this kid my old 2008 V6 charger still ran good with over 100 thousand miles and had a exhaust system one month later kid destroyed it.... I got a 2014 charger RT AWD
That’s about what they are going for rn. I’ve been offered 10k on mine at 120k miles. A few years ago it would be a 6k car, but sadly now 10k is about a normal deal on it. Might be worth it! Up to you man
I want one of these so bad, but Canadian insurance for a 19 year old isn't the cheapest. especially for a car like this, still holding out hopes though
Don't be too discouraged. I have a 2005 Magnum R/T and I'm only paying $198 a month Canadian. And I'm going to be 20 at the end of May. Just get quotes and compare prices, that's what I did.

Couldn’t find out the problem. After some research it seemed to be a PCM problem. I’ve only owned the RT for a month so not too sure about costs yet !
I've had a 06 Daytona charger for 3 almost 4 years. I got ti at uh 170k kms or... 105k miles? its got 130k miles 222k kms and the 4 years. It likes to use up gas, even the v6 does though so. Nice power. Other than a ps pump i ruined doing donuts and the front end (14 year old 120k miles in the rustbelt, its gonna be bad, some parts) its been flawless.
ill be making a depth video to answer it better, but to some it up the RT is a better daily driver. I plan on getting a SRT8 to keep forever and only drive occasionally though. If you can find a cheap SRT8, go for it, but right now people are asking a higher price than normal due to covid.
Same platform but I bought a 06 Chrysler 300c 5.7 awd a few months back. Black widow exhaust, cai, and a diablosport i3 tuner with 93 octane tune and mds shut off for exhaust drone and hopefully preventive lifter failure. Niceee the 2010s are probably the best year for this body style!
Beautiful. & the pup. 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you bro! I just posted another new charger video yesterday.... the pup makes an appearance ! lol
Might buy one pretty soon, wish me luck!
Heck yeah let me know if you get one 💪🏻
nice videoI might be late but wanted to ask this someone selling me an 2010 and 2012 rts price almost identical which would you get and much more reliable less issues? both in great condition and low mileage
Mine definitely still turns heads. I have the 06 rt sitting on foose 24” rims a 2400w system and metal flake red paint (don’t remember actual color). Getting ready to throw a supercharger on it.
$4500 is fucking insane, I can’t find one less than $10k
Yeah man it’s truly nuts, can’t believe how pricey they are all of a sudden..
The wink in the end 😅
That dog is amazing
Love the dog, that reminds me I need to go buy some more Dogecoin. Great review.
Haha everyone says that when they see my pup. Thank you for the comment!
Hope I can find one of these, not sure where to look.
Facebook marketplace Is a good source !
Great buy about to pick my 07 hemi charger today
Question what's your opinion on the srt8
That's my next pick up next year
I owned a 2007 SRT8 but had to sell it sadly.. It’s actually my favorite car ever, but right now they seem to be super expensive. It seems like every used car is over priced right now., so I will get an SRT8 again when they drop in price. I’m making a video soon about owning an RT vs SRT8 !
Congrats on getting the RT though !
I had a 2007 R/T Daytona until recently. It had 65000 miles and was immaculate. I sold it for the equivalent of 20.000$
I got a 2008 RT sitting in the garage with only 48k miles steel blue in color. It’s clean like a virgin pussy.
i just bought a white 2010 v8 for my first car a few months back and i love it (: pretty sure i have the same rims!
how much do u pay for insurance and how old are u ? kinda need a reference
@@static1539 it’s about $300-350 if i’m on my own plan, not sure of the exact. it’s under my dads name now so i only pay for half of my insurance now but yep around 300 if i was on my own
@@static1539 get a police package 5.7l v8 I’m 21 and my insurance is only $115. Granted I’ve never been pulled over or been in an accident
I like the white one as well! I like the white in 2011-2014 body styles too.
I have 2007 dodge charger ex highway pursuit car and I love it
Does it still run well? Any issues?
I just bought a 2006 Dodge Charger RT 2 weeks ago
Bet you got it for a good deal too ! I see the 2006s go pretty cheap.
@@Chowcago unfortunately I paid the same price you did for the 2008 4500$ but it is in mint condition 1 owner older gentleman you’ve made me want to post a video on it.
@@sektorthegoat3146 that’s still a good price for a 1 owner RT. Sounds like a win in my book! Any good condition RT under 6k is something I’d buy in a heartbeat everytime.
@@Chowcago I made a video check it out
I just got an 06 RT as well for $4800. I like them better than the new ones. I don't like that notch in the sides.
Looking to buy 1 now lol. Great vid
You won’t regret buying one man, something about them is special!
Keep makin more videos fam🙌🏽💯
Thank you man 🤟🏻 got some updates coming on the Charger soon
What is considered good mileage for these first gen chargers? I’m looking at a 2007 black one like yours with 89’000 miles for 10k flat? Decent deal? I’m coming from driving Lexus cars so I’m used to reliability.
Just as reliable as the Lexus! Stay on top of maintenance!
I’m lookin at one that is only for 3,5k Buh I offered 3 grand for it and she said yes has 186 thousand miles on it super clean and well cared I think I should buy what y’all think?
Yes sir I think you should go for it !
you are EXTREMELY lucky for finding that one as clean as it is for only 4.5k. that price is insanely low. all i see are shitty ones that either have a horrible condition body, problems, a super worn out interior, rebuilt title, etc. i can only find like 2 or 3 that are in good condition for 9k-10k for an RT. people just do not take care of these cars lol. i have a 2008 charger V6 as of now and i’m 17 years old. just got it as my first car a day before my birthday. paid 4k for it. absolutely no rust and no body or interior issues except for the paint fading on the left side of the car. i want to sell it next year and save up enough money for a v8 but i don’t really want to get a job just yet because i’m focusing hard on school. anyway my point is, is that it’s crazy you found one for that cheap. you’re insanely lucky my guy. i saw an almost perfect looking 2007 daytona charger for $6500 a few months ago and it sold in about 4 hours lol. the 2006-2010 chargers in good condition are hard as hell to find and if you do find them they’re sold in just a few hours or so
Heck yeah man thanks for the comment ! I bought my old SRT8 2007 for 11.5 a few years ago, and this RT for 4.5k . Nowadays the SRT is like 15k and the RT is 9-10k. I appreciate the comment, it’s a shame that people wreck these and beat them up.
@@Chowcago how many miles?
@@extroxfps SRT has 100 flat , this one had like 110k when I bought it. It’s at 122k now
Don't sleep on the Police Pursuit Chargers----you can find them at auction from police departments or used on lots and from private sellers.
Heck ya great video
Thank you so much! Got some more videos of the charger coming soon, other car related vids soon! I’ll send you a sub, thanks man!
What would u consider lower mileage? And how many miles are on the one u bought?
For me personally lower miles is under thing under 100k , I think most would say under 80k though. Mine had 110k when I bought it I believe
You want an 09 and up. Pre Eagle Hemis had issues
Wrong! What issues? The 09 and up Eagle motors develop lifter and cam lobe issues. It's far far worse and more widespread than the valve seat issue. Most people with the first gen racked up nearly 200k miles with no issues. Few had valve seat issues because they overheated the motor!
Can’t wait for the next vid
Same
Or you should buy the 2011 to 2014 body style as well I like that body style more with the 5.7L rt
I definitely plan on getting that body style eventually! I like them in white
@@Chowcago sweet I personally don’t like white on the charger I got the grayish metallic color It’s called Granite Crystal Metallic Clearcoat love it got it polished looks amazing with my srt8 front bumper and hood love the front the most
How many miles did u have on this one and the srt8 when u bough them
RT had 110k the SRT had 100k . Paid 11.5 for SRT8
im looking at almost the same one. should I buy it?
I agree with you on the mener look for the 2008 dodge charger 2:11 and it is also my favorite my dad has one and I like it so much. hey Mabey if he sells it ill bye it off of him
Buy lol
Keep you Lexus
@@lamontgray6015 yuppppp
I have this same car and I love it!
❤❤❤looks just like the one I'm getting next week
I'm still waiting for mine to leave the workshop due to some rear swaybar bushings that my uncle, who's a mechanic, hasn't been able to find...
As I live in Mexico the stock ones apparently do not fit properly and it takes zillions of years for the parts to arrive. Mind you it's a 2009 RT.
If anyone has suffered from this issue please some help would come in handy
yes it is i agreee
Thank you for the comment! More Charger videos coming soon!
U added a Dr. Evil vibe to this, holding ur dog like Mr. Bigglesworth😂
😂 rewatching it I definitely get those vibes too hahaha
I’m literally looking for any reason to buy this one I just found
Hell yeah, did you end up getting one? Keep me updated if so. Thank you for the comment! More Charger videos coming soon!
Should I get this as a first car
I’d say hell yeah!!!
im going to buy the R/T hemi this summer
Hell yeah man! It’s a great summer car, let me know when you end up getting one.
I own the rt/hemi
I felt bad and sold this kid my old 2008 V6 charger still ran good with over 100 thousand miles and had a exhaust system one month later kid destroyed it.... I got a 2014 charger RT AWD

Yoooo awesome man 🤟🏻
found one for 10k, 123k miles and in good condition . is it worth?
That’s about what they are going for rn. I’ve been offered 10k on mine at 120k miles. A few years ago it would be a 6k car, but sadly now 10k is about a normal deal on it. Might be worth it! Up to you man
Hi I have a 2010 Dodge charger RT I am looking for the exact grill and I cannot find it anywhere do you have any suggestions. Gloss black
I think I saw some Black honey comb RT grills on eBay ! I’ve seen them go for 150-250 for the price.
Are they reliable?
Yes! If you stay on top of maintenance!
4500??? Wow you lucked out brother!
found a rt 188k miles wants 4,500 for it, what you think ?
yo where did you get those seats
I want one of these so bad, but Canadian insurance for a 19 year old isn't the cheapest. especially for a car like this, still holding out hopes though
I feel you on this. Any younger person like us will have to pay the price for owning a v8 sadly lol!
Don't be too discouraged. I have a 2005 Magnum R/T and I'm only paying $198 a month Canadian. And I'm going to be 20 at the end of May. Just get quotes and compare prices, that's what I did.
@@Zachattack11072 ah thanks, this would be such a badass car to own, driving the speedlimit of course. lol
@@aj_the_awesome im only paying 68 a month for my RT and paid 75 for my SRT8 ! But I’ve never been pulled over and have a clean record as well.

300c straight but will never have the aggressive look of a CHARGER🤨
I’m a fan of the 300s too, nice interior and gives off a smoother look. From my experience chargers and 300s drive SO similar. Big boats lol. But these chargers are just my favorite looking cars ever.

Nice man congrats !!!! Wish I had a 2010 lol
I am actually posting a 1 year of ownership videos on my charger this week! Hope you and subscribe to check it out man.
Man i fucking love my 08 charger RT🔥
Waiting to learn about the running cost.
I owned a 2007 SRT8 for a year and only had to replace the battery and oil changes. I will admit, I did have a issue where the gas pedal would stop responding on highways.
@@Chowcago what year is your car in the video?
Do u prefer the srt8 or 5.7
ill be making a depth video to answer it better, but to some it up the RT is a better daily driver.
I've read quite a bit and it seems to usually be the mds lifter, that ends up failing
@@Chowcago do u think 20k with 60k miles is good
