I have this exact car, same color! Mine is 2472 out of 4000. I have a GPS/Bluetooth stereo unit in mine. And it's also got a DVD player in the middle console for anyone riding in the backseat wanting the watch a movie, etc. I absolutely LOVE my car! I've always wanted a Dodge Charger and my twin sister passed away at the end of 2014. I love the color YELLOW. i.e. for sunshine, smiley faces and my twin sister loved sunflowers. The first time I saw this car was when we had my sister's visitation at the funeral home and BAM, it was sitting at the car lot across the street! The 2472 is very unique # as well. My sister was a huge Jeff Gordon fan (24) and (72) was our birth year. WOW! This was meant to be my car and I named her "Sunshine". It has lots of room in it and it rides smooth. I love the power too!

@@erickuribe9860 don’t buy 06, 07, or 08. The 5.7 Hemi had a bad valve seat issue and the lifters would fail as well. Big repairs or damages that would destroy the engine. Also the front ends were too heavy so the front suspensions often went off.

Not really go mango is really is a tangerine paint code they just called them go mango color but if you compare go mango with the tangerine big differance also ck paint on drivers door jam. I have a go mango (tangerine) 2006 dodge charger daytona rt with a supercharged 5.7 and other mods.

Love this car, bought it 3yrs ago with 123,900kms, sitting at 142,00kms currently and waiting for spring. Car has a ton of upgrades and is an absolute blast to drive.

I got a 06 Torred #83-200 i think...hard to remember. But Canada you know, thing is fun to drive, love it, great power for what it is, fun in the winter (i know, it's not a winter beater but...it is to me) i got it a week or two after i turned 17 all with my own money from working. It had 170k on it when i got it, and it wasnt perfectly cosmetically, a cracked pumped, some scuffs and some hail dings, BUT as a teenager, i figured, hey, get a car which you want, but has a few minor problems to start with. I wasn't ever going to fix it, as i can imagine hitting into something. 3 1/2 years later it's still going with 220k kms. I am still looking for a mf front end clunk as they are about as common as putting gas in your car. Everything has been changed. BESIDES the strut assembly, but it seems to work alright. Maybe change out the mounts/hat one day. Wondering if you have the same neverending issue with the clunks.

Not sure if u even still have the car but the suspension on these cars is terrible as I've come to find.
@@baileyhatfield4273 clunk is definetly suspension. Sounds like a ball joint lower or upper. Change them both.
I actually passed up trading off for a newer model GT instead I traded for a 2006 Torred Daytona with 44k miles a few weeks ago. While these cars are so limited, they are so damn cool. The Daytona and the R/T itself is so unique! Who else makes a 4 door muscle car? That took some balls and paid off!
I convinced my brother to get the Torred version as well. It's even more rare being as there was only 2,000 of them made (others were 4,000). He loves it and only had a problem with the battery causing random stalls at stop lights. Easy fix and nothing but oil and tires since!
@@Lickemstick I got a Canadian version, 06 Torred where its out of 200. Then again america has the other 2k. Love the thing, the front end if you get some miles on it (120k miles basically) they will crap out, which well, for a heavy car with a giant v8 and cheap parts, i'd expect it. Love the thing, no real problems with 3 1/2 years of daily driving in Canada

This vehicle is certainly no pushover, My 2006 Dodge Charger RT Hemi is a beast, Its an absolutely beautiful vehicle and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
I've had 12 charger rt all different years they are not that fast. Maybe for a 4 door sedan but that's it

what does the + and - near the D on the shift stick do?
For the AutoStick manual shifting. Upshift and downshift.

Yes. It uses the older AutoStick mode with left/right upshift and downshift flicks.
This is my all time favorite Dodge Charger add 345 hemi badge intercooler and plasti dip the rims and dodge symbols it a be bad ass

So I’m not much of a car person, but I seen one going for 10,500 although it’s one main thing I’ve noticed, it has an open hole on the hood and it doesn’t have the Daytona stitching on the head of the seats… could it be a “fake” Daytona?
More then likely, will have a badge on the right side of dashboard also when started will say Daytona on the speedometer.
I thought they all had a Mercedes nag1 trans for all of the 5spd

I just blew my engine at 116,000 on my top banana Daytona. My mechanic offered me $500 for my Daytona, I said no way. I had the engine rebuild for $3000 by an engine builder. So glad I did, now my Daytona should be worth $8000 to $14000. It's like a new car.
@@billysmith7590 nice I recently bought just an rt off auction as that other Daytona sold fast as hell but anyway I got the one I have now sadly has a bad motor but I can rebuilt it for about 1k so hopefully it works out either way as a die hard GM fan I really gotta respect the hell outta these cars I’ll tell you what

Does this car have auxiliary capability?
As an in AUX-IN jack on the radio? Yes. They do have that. Chrysler was putting those in pretty early on, before Bluetooth became the standard. I actually like that option myself. Better sound quality.

I'm a year late...but i got mine at 17 with my own cash. So that brings my money into it which makes you respect something a bit more. If you drive in the winter...fuck man i'd hope you got the best winter tires around and RESPECT the hell out of mother nature. I daily drove it in Canada during winter time going from 30C to minus 25 C no issues. Again, if its snowing out, 1 foot of snow on the ground, it will be a joyride, and it can get you into trouble. Gotta respect the power as the guy said. 3 1/2 years later i still love the thing. Its front end is trash. I'm not sure what to reccomend. The thing just eats parts and has a clunk for most people for a long time. I've changed almost everything out and theres still a slight clunk to it. Live with it basically.

I have one 300k miles on it #3 of 4K , anybody else with high mileage?? I’m never selling my baby whenever the engine gave up I will just rebuild it or put an used one in there , this vehicle are special ,that why there’s only 4K of this
