    • @Sunset_City_Blues
      @Sunset_City_Blues 4 месяца назад +4

      And in the UK. I mean really underrated because they've had very little of their music hit the UK charts. This performance is amazing and my favourite is probably "Culture Of Fear". I remember years ago I was in a record shop just browsing and "The Mirror Conspiracy" album was playing. It wasn't really the kind of music I was listening to at the time but I remember I was blown away by it, and I just had to buy it.

    • @lo2740
      @lo2740 Год назад +1

      not sure if you guys know the studio albums, the performance, the recording and the mix are all pretty bad, at some point the male singer frankly out of tune. Sound us muffled, balance is bad. Not sure how you can say the mix is "gods work", its electronic music with just two singers, about the easiest thing to mix v, a live like that (in a small room, with no battery or live instruments) should sound same as the album, assuming the performance and recordings are decent, which is not the case here.

    • @AlexMPruteanu
      @AlexMPruteanu Год назад

      @@lo2740 you got it. Also, they're all playing under the recorded, mixed track on the album. That's why everyone is praising the sound engineering. Because it's the album first and foremost you're hearing, then these guys in the studio waaay under. The vocals are live, however.

    Wow! I had no idea these guys were from the US. I first heard them in the late 90s around the same time as Massive Attack, Portishead, Sphongle, etc; so assumed because of their "world" sound that they were from Britain.
    I am quite surprised to hear music of this type and style coming out of the USA.

      Nice to see Shpongle mentioned! I wouldn't consider them trip hop/Bristol sound like Massive Attack and Portishead though - that'd be Morcheeba/Zero 7/U. N. K. L. E. if you haven't heard their stuff yet :) :)

Maintaining musical quality over the years and continuing to improve and search for new sounds is something incredible these days. They represent the music of the world.
