@@KendallAdventureandTravel if you ride mostly highway why not do it? I thinks it's a great idea. Maybe if it handles ok on curvy roads it's good all around. That bike handles well but not generally ridden aggressively on curved roads so if you get 3x mileage and ( -10%) handling at the edge it's totally worth it!
My test ride last weekend was in the twisties, and honestly at speed it's not bad at all, I was still able to do my high speed run through my favorite corners....it's the slow corners, my neighborhood that is weird...Dave
Interesting. But here in the UK fitting a car tyre would invalidate your insurance. And the bike would most likely fail its MOT, which is our mandatory annual safety check
Hi there Dave, can you tell me what rear tyre pressure you have and do you change the tyre pressure if you have a pillion? Personally I found that 38psi is smooth. But is that safe?!!
I started with much lower pressure, around 32, but have gradually increased to 38 and I like it. I have another friend that rides 2 up all the time at the same pressure..Dave
@@Saltani129 So my thought was the 42 rated PSI is for th motorcycle tire, this is an actual car tire, most passenger car tire PSI are 32-35 range....If I run 32 the TPMS went off, at 36 and up no lights Dave
One reason I enjoy warching this channel is the number of items Dave test.
Thanks for Watching Frank...Dave
Very interesting. Thanks.
Thanks for watching...Dave

Are you saying if I ride Highway it's not a great idea? Why? What is your experience...Dave

I wonder what going around corners would actually be like with a flat profile tire on the rear?

Interesting, why would it fail? Is there a law stating you cant do it? Just curious really...Dave

@ FMI, so what is the reason for you choosing lower pressure? And why not stick to 42?

I tried the email for the guy with the install kit. Apparently the email is not valid. Any other contact info for him?
Try this: ryan93487@gmail.com...314-705-3144, I did confirm that is the email I used...Dave
15 minutes and you will most likely never look for a MC tire again, 20 thousand miles + for the car tire.
Ive heard that many times...Dave
