I currently have Model 3 but intend it get Model S in a couple months. The sentry mode is an absolute life saver. I would buy one just for that alone. Unfortunately I have been hit 5 times and 4 were hit and runs. Sentry mode caught it all and they paid for the repair!!

When traveling you should be charging up to 80% for longevity and efficiency purposes. Charging your car to 100% which you should only do when starting a trip can take close to an hour and almost half that time is charging from 90 to 100%. When you get to a supercharger, charging from 10% to 80% takes 35 minutes and with the planner it doesn't have you charge that long but it will have you charge often. Sounds like you were charging to 100% which will take a long time and is not recommended. FSD still requires you pay attention as if you are driving. That's not a con. FSD is still in trial and development stage. You must learn how EV's, particularly your car works as opposed to gas cars. Those manuals are not in the glove box to take up space. Problem is no one reads them then wonders why the car does what it does not understanding that's how it works.

Very informative and transparent ! I’ve been on the fence about purchasing a Tesla but this definitely makes me want to go ahead with it. Thank you!

Great video. One small correction would be there are 3 types of Autopilot. Basic Autopilot which is what I think you were describing. It comes with every Tesla and is also know as Highway Autopilot. Enhanced Autopilot will take exits and change lanes and FSD ( beta ) will do all the above including stopping at lights, stop signs and taking left, right turns.

I have beta and a year and a half ago when I got it, it didn’t make left and right turns and on steep curves it would ask me to take over. Maybe I need to give it a try again.

Thanks for your Tesla review. It was extremelyinsightful and helped with my decision to finally pull the trigger. I just recently became a Tesla owner myself of a '23 long range S and was wondering if you've had any issues with rear inner tire wear. Im currently on 21' inch wheels with 2k miles and would at least like to get about 20k out of them. Do you have any advice in regards to tire and wheel care? Thanks!

I can help. The 21 inch tires on all of the Model X and S cars have inner tire wear problems do to excessive camber that's been set by Tesla. There are a few ways to resolve this. One, is switch to the 19 inch tires which do not have the tire wear issues. Two, take your car into a shop and get your camber adjusted to a more neutral setting. When you buy it new the car has more negative camber from Tesla than it needs so a tire and wheel shop can remove that. Three, there are some camber and shim kits from a couple of manufacturers that will replace your stock arms so when your car lowers during highway driving the tires don't "bow" outward ausing tire wear on the inside of the tires. On RUclips search for either "N2itive kit for Plaids" and "Unplugged Performance for Plaid." BOTH have solutions for tire wear, how and why it happens, etc. O ly the 21 inch wheels have this problem.

Absolutely enjoyed the series. Would love to know what salaries look like post big law in the US. Is it still the same pay? Or are the differences not so significant?

If the range is 400 miles, why does it require charging every 3 hours?

That is the range for 100 percent charge. Her battery might be set to charging only to 80 percent, which is healthier for that particular battery. Also, the wheels and temperature outside play a factor.

I start 1L next week in Portland. I want the Tesla simply for its auto drive capabilities. I have a 25 minute commute to school everyday. I would love a car that just drives me to school and home everyday instead of fighting traffic. Wish the Tesla did that.
