    Just ordered the knife center exclusive version in 3v. The upgraded steel put me over the edge. So, anyone who was waiting for a more premium steel, the 3V versions are still in stock for now

    Thanks for the updated review Bryan. I'm looking to pick one (or both) of these up and just set a back in stock notification at Knife Joy using your link. When they come back in stock if I'm able to order I'll be sure to use your link to help you out a little. Congrats on being so close to 25k subscribers. Also cool to see you doing an affiliate with Knife Joy. Looking forward to the giveaway, although I don't usually win stuff like that! Lol

    Picked up one at BladeShow and has quickly become one of my favorite knives. My wife even wants one as she can manipulate the opening as well as the SharkLock, which is rare for her, had to get her fixed blades to carry in her purse before. She wants an AD20.5!

    Thanks for the review. I was able to score one of the S/N versions from Blade in clip point. Loving the knife. It feels solid, just a smaller version of the AD-20. I may disassemble and knock down the underside, inner edges of the scales. Just a bit rough there. Otherwise, this will be in my pocket every day. Waiting for the release of the Sharks Foot!

    I got one to see if I’d like the shark lock as much as the online peeps do. I really want the 20 but got some micarta scales for the 20.5 until I can pick up a full size. The new scales make it feel like a nicer knife, more substantial of an overall build and gets rid of the Cold Steel Lite feel of the grivory.

    I know liner locks and frame locks are FINE, have been around forever, and won't kill anyone...
    But I still like ANY lock system that allows you keep your fingers out of the path of the blade. Axis, compression, button....and add Shark lock. I will own one. :)

  • @WhoIsSerafin
    @WhoIsSerafin 3 года назад

    My only real complaints is the detent and you can shake the blade loose. I did manage to stiffen it just a little by adding some lock keying springs in the main spring. But would like to see someone like flytanium make a stiffer spring.

    The grivory scales are very weak. When open, press in the middle of the handle and it bends easily. It just made it feel like cheap plastic. I ended up paying the extra and getting the titanium scales. It added weight to it, but compared to the grivory it was well worth it.

    Cmon knife community. So snobby and snooty about steel, don’t get me wrong I love awesome steel especially in Florida loving the Vanax on my Waypoint. $150 Aus10A, shark lock, seems good. I love my para 3 lightweight in CTS-Bd1N steel, they are now $110 I believe. Seems worth buying, if I could grab one on a drop anywhere 😆

    The same factory making $175 Demko-designed AD-15s make $150 AD20.5s without a third party in between? That's more a comment on the value of the AD-15 than a complaint about the 20.5, but it does make you wonder if the prices will settle once the initial glitz has worn off.

    I'd want one for $75. I'm sorry, the materials, design, and craftsmanship isn't worth $150 these days, considering the competition.
    e.g.: The Ritter mini RSK is 10 bucks less, has 20cv steel, and is just as fidgety and EDC-useful. Same basic style, too. Function over form, yet not ugly.

      I got one at blade show and took it apart. Surprisingly the liners are not aluminum. Everything is steel except the pivot screw which appears to be titanium since it was magnetic. So I think it’s just worth it, but my only complaint is you can shake the blade out and wonder if you can do this with the full size version?
