    Most people who justify Ronaldinho's decline by saying he got old don't seem to realize that he was booted off Barcelona at 28 years old. He went from winning Ballon d'Or and Champions League to leaving the very club that helped him win them in 2 years. We might subconsciously overlook that fact because of everything he has achieved during his short prime years, but looking back, that was a huge warning sign.

    One big part that sums up his downfall was the influence of his older brother, who's also his agent. Ronaldinho relied on him for so much and his brother Roberto only enabled his lifestyle choices. It's why he wound up in prison and in hot water everywhere else.
    It's great that he won it all as a player, but he peaked too early with a bad support system around him. He'll always be special to the generation that grew up with him.

    Crazy how even with this drop he is still considered amongst around top 10 for many. In my opinion if Ronaldinho stayed in peak form from 05-06 he would’ve been top 5, and Ronaldinho would be in the debate with Diego, Pele, Ronaldo, and Messi

    • @Goodfellaz318
      @Goodfellaz318 3 года назад

      Yes after 05/06 he declined. 06/07 is the first season where he played worse than before. Before that you could see him developing and getting better and better from season to season until 06/07 where he began to decline and getting slower and slower. In 07/08 was his worst form he got fat and couldn't barely run anymore.

    Partying is a part of ronaldhino. We love him because he's out going and always smiling. We adore him for his cheekiness and never taking stuff serious. To be honest ronaldhino is at the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. Possibly even better! Yes Messi may be better than him, but the Connection he had with football is a level that Messi will simply never reach! That's why Ronaldhino is one of the greatest of all time

    I think he and Ronaldo (Nazario) are the most gifted players football has ever seen. They just didn't live as optimized as CR7 and Messi and this is why they couldn't deliver for as long. They are just the last football legends from a generation in which it wasn't about being the best version of yourself or where it just was not possible.
