The 360 degree sunset is so beautiful. You’ve shown it better than any other image/video I’ve seen. I’m glad you show so much of the on the ground experience, because it’s hard to get a good idea just from seeing photos of the sun. Also don’t count yourself out of seeing one ever again, there’s a couple going over North America in 2044 and 2045!
I have this once in a lifetime experience twice! Went to Central Nebraska and 2017 and Southeast Oklahoma in 2024. You're right, it's amazing how much light is produced by such a small amount percentage wise of the sun.
I saw this at my college campus in Northwest Ohio where we had almost exactly 3 minutes of totality. It was definitely the most unique thing I've ever experienced, and I was most stunned by the brilliance of the corona and seeing those prominences!
As someone who's never witnessed a solar eclipse before, it was cool to see all the pictures and videos coming out, and people so excited about this cosmic phenomenon
Thanks. Yeah I don't think I've seen that before either, which is why I thought it might be a different take than most people's telescope videos. Also I have a drone and don't have a telescope so it worked for me 😁
I agree, it was an amazing experience! Yes, there were too many things to pay attention too. We only had a few moments, to enjoy the experience. Loved your video, thanks!
Are you talking about the patreon supporters at the end of the video? Patron tells me the names of my supporters so I can credit them. I'm not sure I understand the reference to Indian culture
Hello i just wanted to drop a tip i think your thumbnails could be better because they feel very empty currently and as a regular content consumer i would know this you should try some very flashy thumbnails
I was in Vermont on a mountain seeing it. The Adirondack Range + lake Champlain background added to the beauty!

Thanks. Yeah I focused on the ground experience simply because I don't have a real telescope to show

Those drone shots were amazing! I've never seen anyone else film something like that during an eclipse :o

I saw the eclipse as well, and it was sight-taking. Next time, I'll use protection. 😎😊
fantastic video!
Thanks!

Thanks
Wow!!!
In case you didn't catch it, the bright light at about the 5o'clock position below the sun was Venus.
👍
this total eclipse should mess with wild animals in forests so much :D
It did mess with the birds. They started chirping, when the sun was coming out, as though it was morning.
