@Hayley Corry I've chalked bright green into my friend's hair for saint Patrick's, and his hair is naturally black. You need to add more product sometimes, but it works fine on darker hair. Maybe it's down to the specific formula of the chalk, but mine was just a box of hair chalk I bought at 5 below.
