What a time to be alive.. Does everyone feel like they grew up in the best era? The 90s and 2000’s were amazing. We had the best toys.
Heck yeah!!
Of course! The 90s and 00s were epic. Ahhh the good ole days…oh gosh I’m so old.
What I wouldn't do to go back to all of this. Best times ever!
I was born in 1986 and am currently 38 weeks pregnant with my first…not sure if it’s the hormones or this quickly approaching new chapter of my life or what but I’ve been feeling super nostalgic lately…and your content makes my heart full ❤️
I was born in 1985 (a few hours later and I would have been 1986).
I was born in 85, have a 3 year old and a 1 year old, I felt nostalgic right before and after birth, too. You reflect on your life in a new way. Congratulations mama the joy and love your babies give you is truly heaven sent. ❤️
I love your content. You are a star in the making. I think it's because you seem to really know yourself very well, if that makes sense. Like, you don't do anything over-the-top. You just choose the perfect expressions, and it just works. Other people in entertainment are doing too much, and some even gave up on trying to be "good", and "cringe" is their gimmick, which is the easy way out in my opinion. ANYWAY, great work 👍🏻
I really appreciate that - thank you!!
Perfectly said!
Pleaseeee never stop doing those this unlocks so many memories it makes me so happy
You and Jenna Barclay have been hitting me right in the nostalgic feels. I miss the 90s and early 2000s!
The glitter roll from The Icing or Claire’s. That would seal the deal with this video. Oooh! And the butterfly clips. Their wings actually moved. Man I am feeling old tonight.
The mermaid barbie that her fin moves in water... I LOVED 🧜♀️Or the clear housephones with the colorful cords inside calling Disney 365 LOL
I was born in ‘96 but with three siblings born in the 80s … all of this was nostalgic, either because it was brand new to me, my friends had them, or it was passed down from my siblings. I was OBSESSED with Lisa Frank! I would literally name all the animals on the binders and folders and they each had their own story. Love your content !
Oh my gosh! I had most of that! But what really got me is the magnetic play box. I totally forgot that this existed, but I had it with me every single time we went on holiday in the car. Thank you so much!
Youve been helping me get through some seriously lonely times during the day! So glad youtube sent you to me 💓
True story: My dad got dozens of those rubber coin purses with his name and number on the back as a "cool" alternative to business cards in the mid 2000s. He continues using one for his own coins to this day.
Omgsh I love that 😂
the fact he still uses one is so pure 😂
All of it!!! Stick on earrings, spinning fairy, the cd's 🥹
Ahhhh! The beaded lizard, too! And school notes. You're my fave! We're the same age and I die with joy and laughter at all your vids!
🫶
Your videos make me sooooo happy. Brings back so many memories lol
🥰
I swear watching your videos bring straight JOY and LAUGHTER!!! We have to be the same age because everything you do and bring back from the past makes me scream with joy! Something’s I have even forgotten about but remember once you do your thing. 😂
The "Oops I did it again" at 00:10 was a jump scare
Gotta keep you on your toes
@@erinmiller well it worked!!
I’ve never felt so much nostalgia for anything as much as I do for your videos. Which I find bizarre, as I’m from the UK, but you just NAIL IT, somehow! ❤
i really love your videos! it's crazy so many of us around the world share the same memories
One of my most favorite things growing up were hit clips! They were little cartridges of music you could play in a hit clip mini boom box or mp3 player; they would play roughly 15 to 30 seconds of hit pop songs at the time, each cartridge played one song. Miss them!
YES! I still have my the little karaoke machine that came with a P!nk song.
I’m so obsessed with your content. Literally gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to see all this stuff! ❤❤❤
Ahh 🥰 thank you!
OH MY GOD.
The Pizza Hut stickers! I was obsessed. You unlocked a core memory.
1:53 OMG I LOVED THESEEE ❤ I had one, only for a bit because it broke but still!
Ahh I squealed with the Dear Diary. I loooovveedd mine. It felt like having my own little computer!
Yess so ✨high tech✨
Omg!! I loved my pogs! I had tons! Loved goosebumps, are you afraid of the dark, Erie Indiana... I miss being a kid...in the 90s n teen early 00s... I feel sorry for kids these days..
What a trip down memory lane! I had a dear diary too haha. What are the kiddos even playing with these days? I feel like I never see toy commercials anymore.
I honestly have no idea! 😅 What ARE they playing with?
Kids just play on their phones and maybe tablets. No need for toy commercials when most people don't have cable anymore and kids don't play with toys anymore.
@@BassGal92Nintendo switch also. They do have toys out there that are cool and interactive but most kids don’t have the attention span to play with anything for more than a few minutes. It’s pretty bad. My niece and nephews have a TON of toys but are mostly on a tablet watching RUclips or on a Nintendo switch. Honestly we could probably get rid of most of their toys and they wouldn’t notice
I’m so thankful that I grew up in the 90’s and early 2000’s. I was born in 1988 so I turned 35 last month. I remember the Sky Dancers. I had one when I was 7 or 8 or something.
Can't wait for part 2 I want to go back to the 90s again 😫
This haul is everything 😭😭😭😭😭
👏
Sky dancers FLY!!! I treated my Dear Diary like Fort Knox back in the day when all it really had on it was like my ranking of favorite boy bands and Sanrio characters. 😅
Half of this stuff I un-ironically loved as a 90s/2000s kid. 😂
omg, i am so happy you exist. This content is meaningful and necessary
I miss the scholastic book fairs SO MUCH 😭 I never had money to get the cool stuff but now I do lol
Can’t wait for more of these! Love the full format
OMGosh! I collected the Claire’s charm boxes and still have a few stashed away. I also had a Dear Diary, but sadly it was lost when we moved after 9th grade…it along with several other amazing gems, including a personally signed Britney Spears poster that read “To Brandi ❤ Britney Spears”…my dad actually worked with her grandpa and so he was able to get the hook up for me. I lost that along with several other signed posters and some highly collectible vintage Barbie toys/accessories. I’m still pissed that sucker got “lost”…we’re convinced the movers took all of it.
Fun Britney Story: I used to live in Louisiana not far from Kentwood and the closest theatre was in the next town over, which also made it the closest one from Kentwood too. One weeknight in 2002 my friends and I went to see The Ring and I was standing in line right behind Britney Spears and her mom Lynn…like a foot away literally! I at first recognized Britney but second guessed myself until I saw Lynn, I knew what she looked like too, so I was then 100% positive it was Britney. We were freaking out, but whispering and scared to say something and didn’t want to disturb her. Knowing what I know now about all she’s gone through I’m glad we didn’t hound her for an autograph…and this was before cell phone cameras so we did briefly debate as to whether to go up the street and get a disposable camera, but ultimately didn’t. We knew she probably always got mobbed whenever she went out and more than likely would prefer to have a little quiet night. There were hardly any people at the theatre that night too so she definitely had her privacy. When we got to the ticket booth, we asked “Hey, was that Britney Spears?!” The girl said yeah, but she likes her privacy and they try to respect that, so we did too. Do I wish I could have actually talked to Britney, one of my idols and one of my most favorite celebs ever? Of course, but I’m glad I showed restraint and let her be. BTW…she and her mom saw Solaris, the George Clooney space movie. I remember because my friends and I all thought it looked like a total bore, snooze-fest. Little did we know it would become a cult classic and beloved by avid movie watchers lol, but we were kids so what did we know. One of the greatest memories/experiences of my teens during the early 00s!
Omggggg 🤩 the nostalgia... it burns... 🙈
love this! can’t wait for pt.2 now lol
Omg the wing dancers! I believe thats what they were called, was one of my favorite childhood toys
OMG the memories! Still can't get rid of my CD collection. Also had allll the Lisa Frank stuff.
The Haunted Mask was the best episode of Goosebumps.
Wow the Carley Beth mask, never even knew they made them!! I definitely had that movie and read some of those books!!
Omg the sky dancer!!!
My God I had every single MK and A movie book whatever and what the heck was so great about those sticker things I had a ton… fortune tellers balancing bird dear diary… do you by chance have Dream Phone or Dream Date I can’t remember the right name but you called boys and they would say “you’re right I really like you” or “nope it’s not me” 😂😂 I miss my childhood so bad lately love these old memories 😍
i was born in ‘03 (i’m 20) but these items unlocked so many memories, particularly the sticker/tattoo machine dispenser…omg
Holy shit those magnetic scrolling games! I forgot about those!
I had the clueless phone!!! It changed your voice and said "as if!" ❤
When you pulled out that recorder, I had war flashbacks and suddenly I felt so bad for everybody in that grocery store because when I was learning the recorder at school, I had to take it with me everywhere and bless my mom’s heart because she let me take it into a store- I was probably so annoying.
I had the EXACT DOLPHIN LAMP( the first one). LOL 🐬
Love your content! And love your hair!
Thank you!
'83 here. The balancing eagle toy got me and same with the stick on earrings!
I had a spinning fairy, I'm happy I still have both my eyes!!
A survivor
The typing scene from Life Size 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh boy I forgot about those rotating dolphin lamp things. Lol.
I loved this video!! Looking forward to more 😇🫶🏻
Thank you!
I commented too soon:
1) I loved Gelly Rolls, but I might sell my soul for a pack of Milky Pens. I was basically a Milky Pen tattoo artist, and it unlocked _so_ many new friend groups for me.
2) I still have all my notes. They're in a Five-Star zippered binder that I'm sure has a spot for floppy disks. I find it so sad that kids today are missing out on the time-honored tradition of note passing, and how having an interesting new way to fold your notes could totally change how people thought of you. Television shows always showed teachers confiscating notes as the thing to fear, but the _real_ horror was writing something downright cruel about a friend you were mad at for, like, a day, and the note recipient showing it to the friend you wrote it about after you'd made up in order to gain the social upper hand.
I love the pentel gel pens (I made a video about them last year). Although they’re harder to find in stores nowadays, I’ve found them on Amazon, at Hobby Lobby, and also found some at an art store in MA. Gelly Rolls are nice, too, however I prefer Pentel between the two.
I'm pretty sure I still have that exact dolphin sculpture at my parents house!
There’s still phone books. Only now they’re like an inch thick rather than five. Lol
I am dying about the diary, I wish I still had mine. I thought I was SO cool
I WISH I could log in to mine to read 😩
I got 2 of that exact Sky Dancer for my birthday and I thought it was the best birthday ever! I miss those things
First! Also POGS
Jealous of the Lisa Frank collection. Nano pets, Tamagotchi, candy cigarettes, that rubber coin purse...so many good ones here. NSYNC > Backstreet Boys. NSYNC 4 EVA!!
Yep, definitely had the majority of these items. Also, I saw a state logo on your phone book. I went to Mississippi State!
I think I tried aiming my "Sky Dancer" towards my sister 😂
Sounds about right
Omg. I love this! I just wish someone was doing more genx
I always wanted a glow in the dark lizard beaded keychain. Never got one, but I envied anyone that had one.
I collected Pogs too ahaha. I was scared of the Mary Beth clay head more.
Loved this haul! Keep them coming…so much nostalgia!
Yes, please keep doing these!!! Love all your videos!!!
I had a bedroom doorbell! It was a purple flower, that with my headset phone and blow up furniture. Haha good times
I definitely had the dolphin lamp, and the spinning doll, the balancing bird, a dear dairy (my sisters I would steal), bewitched cd, pogs (stole my sisters). I so miss the 90’s
Stole so many things from my sister 😂
@@erinmiller clothes were def a huge issue with us 🤣🤣
McDonald's toys are the most solid proof we have that the old days were better. Those games were awesome, nowadays everything is cheap low-effort cardboard things.
THE SPINNY DOLLLLLLLSSSSSS
I LOVED THOSE SO MUCH!!!!
I only had all of these. Lisa frank, I’m glad she’s back lol
My first CD was a Little Mermaid Sebastian CD from around 1992 or 1993.
I had the eagle toy and some pogs, including some skeleton poison pogs.
Do you have any American Girl dolls? I collect them, as well as a few other brands.
Writing notes was awesome. And Space Makers were a classic ‘90s school supply; I still have three. I would say Gelly Rolls are 2nd place-Pentel gel pens are my favorite, although they’re harder to find nowadays than in the ‘90s and early 00’s. I did find some at Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and another smaller art store.
American Girl is releasing twins from 1999 later this month. One of them has a little Tamagotchi. I had Giga Pets and Talking Nano Baby/Pets growing up (Giga Compu Kitty was the best). My mom got a Tamagotchi Angel.
That balancing bird toy just unlocked a memory
I did have the clueless phone! Had the yak bak too! Totally forgot about that!
The clueless phone was the peak for prank calling your friends in middle school! 😂
I get a phonebook every so often near the mailbox
I had a red neon, too!
Can you please do a “playing snake on your phone” kinda video. For us 90’s-2000’s kids that didn’t have or weren’t allowed internet on our phones. Please????
Memories man, those were better times! 🥲
I got A BIG THICK ASS book full of pogs. I'm sure its worth millions rn 😎 subscribed bois
This is so fun!! Love this content!! You crack me up! 😂😂😂😂😂 💖
Great video! Fun fact killer whales are a members of the dolphin family. The more you know! Lol
I remember begging for the Dear Diary and getting it for Christmas 😂 I had to know how many hearts I had every day 😂
They do still make phonebooks. My gma gets them and she still has a landline.
Editing in the sleeping clip from Boy Meets World was funny but I legitimately wanted to know what all of your CDs were 😆 genuinely interested.
When you pulled out the magnetic game set: memory unlocked 🤯
Okay, I really want to show you my Polly Pocket collection. I know that I know you'll love it!!
I had the Clueless phone!! Me and my friends used the voice changer to prank call people 😂
I can hear the song “hot cross buns” now 😂
I literally would not have minded if this was 2 hours long 🤣
You had the pog maker toy didn’t you ? Lol . Those home made pogs were so janky
I must’ve!
1:30 orcas are actually dolphins (not whales!) so you’re good! 🐬
HAHA WHOOPS
What a happy life you had.
Goosebumps :)
this was so fun 🤩
☺️
I had the Clueless phone! I felt the coooooolest using it. I had the Dear Diary and I too forgot my password and never could get back into it. So sad lol.
Your videos are hilarious and relatable 😂🌸
Can't wait for part two!!
Girrrrrl. I totally forgot about the beaded lizards 😧
I used to go on manic donation episodes, so I have almost nothing left. 😅
