Cheeseburger Soup Recipe:
1lb ground beef
3/4 c chopped onion, shredded carrots, diced celery
1 tsp. dried basil, dried parsley flakes
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
3 tbsp butter or margarine
2 cans (14oz each) chicken broth
4 cups diced potatoes (peel if you want, I don't)
1/4 c flour
1.5 c shredded cheddar cheese
1.5 c (6 oz) velveeta cheese
1.5 c milk
salt and pepper to taste
1.5 c sour cream
Brown hamburger and drain (if you want, I don't). Set aside. In same pan saute onion, carrots, celery, basil, and parsley in 1 tbsp oil. Until veggies are almost tender (about 10 min). Add broth, potatoes, and beef. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until potatoes are tender (about 15 min). Meanwhile, in a small pan, melt 3 tbsp margarine. Add flour. Cook and stir 3-5 minutes until bubbly. Add to soup. Bring to a boil. Cook & stir 2 minutes, reduce heat to low. Stir in cheese - allow to melt. Then add milk, salt, and pepper. Cook & stir on low. No not boil. Add sour cream before serving.

Hi from Perthshire in Scotland. Just a wee tip for old books when you get them from the charity shops. Sometimes they smell a bit musty, you can place inside a few pages on each book , used tumble dryer sheets possibly cutting them in half. Place books in a carrier bag and leave the for a good 3 weeks, they should be a bit fresher and you are re using something that would go in the bin. I also use them for the towels, sheets and linen etc in the linen cupboard. Keep up the good work, love watching your vlogs. Xx
Hi Summer. A while back I was searching for videos that wasn’t trash, so much of that on RUclips. So in search I typed in something like “ some good clean videos” and yours popped up. Funny huh? I had already discovered your bothers and really enjoy the family shenanigans, sweet family, good people. In today’s times it’s refreshing. Just wanted to say thank you.
Awe thank you for the kind words!!
That is so sweet. Jay is just such a nice guy! When you were looking out the window for him it reminded me of my early marriage days and I did the same. I have mad hubbys fav's for years as well in fact it turns into the fact he loves all kinds of food and I cook all kinds but I stop at seafood as I can't handle the smell, taste and even eating it just gives me the willies. LOL He cooks on nights that he wants fish/shrimp/crab/you name it......lol Even tho I don't eat it, he does and that gives me a night where I don't have to cook. LOL Works for me after 55 years. ;-)
I need to try your recipe now........sounds delicious. TY for the recipe! :-)
Blessings
Summer-what you need for your finger is a thimble preferably a flexible one. That will help with any hand sewing that you do. Thimbles by Clover are wonderful.
Just a little FYI, a lint roller will remove the fuzz without having to wash and you can get one at the dollar store.
Yes! Saved me when my new washer and dryer don't filter compared to my previous pair. Our cat crossed the rainbow bridge when he was 16 but his hair was everywhere and those lint rollers - with replaceable rolls - are essential for pet hair, human hair, all the fuzzy stuff we have around the house. Some of those beautiful throws we like to snuggle with are deadly for shedding.
I returned the blanket it haha. It was just the worst!
“Hey cutie” Awwwww
Good afternoon, I really enjoy your videos, and love your whole family. I'm a Cole Cornstar viewer, also.
It's so cold I saw a lawyer with his hands in his own pockets! Great video as always!
Yup. He loves you.
Summer, that really was sweet of you to make him his favorite soup.
I’m sure that made Jay’s day! You can use a sewing machine to sew your patches on. Just make sure you have a heavy duty needle for your machine.
I could! but for whatever reason decided by hand was the way to go haha!
It's nice to surprise a loved one. It makes the feel special. Terrific job, I hope Jay enjoyed the soup.
Hang the blanket to dry if possible. If you use a dryer, add a scrap of velvet or corduroy fabric to attract lint.
Add two tennis balls to help fluff the blanket when you are using a dryer. Set the dryer to low heat and remove the blanket at soon as it's dry.
Lay the blanket flat and shave it with an electric sweater shaver or gently rub it with a pumice stone to remove shedding.
Remove shedding with a sticky lint roller or by blotting the blanket with wide masking tape wrapped around your hand. Hope this helps you with your blanket.
Aaaawww. ...I loved Jay's reaction, you are a sweet wife! 😇
Get a sweater shaver! They come in handy all the time for fuzzys it will make quick work of those pink fuzz
Wrap some masking or painters tape around your hand. Makes it easy to get the fuzz off with no residue. Also keeps from plugging the washer and the lint screen in the dryer.
Summer grey tape folded sticky side out will Alleviate all fuzzy stuff + it’s easy, works on hair of all kinds, lint, & dust too…. Happy New Year to ALL cornstars
You’re so blessed ❤️
I made the soup. We loved it. Thanks Summer! Keep bringing us cooking shows!💕
What a sweet reaction from Jay! ❤
That beautiful summer I’m so happy you guys are so awesome together he said is that hamburger soup and the smile was huge lol thanks for sharing god bless everyone
Enjoy...you are so lucky.....
You’re a lovely, caring couple 😃👌❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, you are a great cook .
It is so sweet that you made your husband's favorite soup, after all that old saying that the path to your loved one's heart is through his/her stomach is so true and he/she will love you even more. Great job and God bless you.
Awww so sweet! Good job Summer! You made your hubby so happy!
Aww…isn’t that so nice to get such a sweet reaction making him something he likes. ♥️
Good for you for getting a sponsor. Great job, too. I love Jay's reaction to the soup! 🥣
Cheeseburger soup. That sounds awesome ! 💛
Did you try putting that comforter in the dryer with a few dryer sheets to see if the fuzzy stuff will come off and be stuck in the trap ?
Once the static electricity is out, sometimes that stuff will just fall off.
I washed it 3 times and put it through the dryer. That blanket is what nightmares are made of haha!
@@sumgoodstuff9995 since Cole likes to clean things, I guess the next step would be to hand him some tweezers and see if he can pick each piece of lint off the comforter. You'll have to trick him a little bit though. Maybe you could set a timer and allow him to use little pieces of Scotch tape if the tweezers don't work. 😉
If he doesn't fall for it right away, maybe you could offer to pick up some of the wood he pulled off the walls in his upstairs.
( just don't tell him any of this was my idea, okay ?)
Aw! Loved his reaction! You did good! Looks delicious! I will try it! Thanks fornthe recipe in the description!
Soup sounds yummy. Gonna make it. Thanks Summer!
Awww loving the patches idea.
Thanks for sharing stay warm guy's 😀
Ohhh 🤗.....
YESSSSS a you tuber that just like me drinks sparkling water from a soda stream 🥰🥰🥰
I LOVE soda water!
Would love the cheeseburger soup recipe, thank you very much. Jays reaction is so sweet, stay like that to each other forever.❤️
In description:)
I hate that soup few weeks ago was very good
cheeseburger chowder has to be the State soup of Iowa!
Ohhh we are big soup eaters (or is that drinkers?) in winter, so I will have to look that recipe up. Thanks for the inspiration.
It’s in the description:)
@@sumgoodstuff9995 awesome thank you
Love is not a feeling, it's something we do for others out of caring for them.
Jay's face said it all when he found out you made his fsvorite soup for when hes tired n cold from a long day.
Turns a man on. Keep doing that n you'll have a whole house full of babies
haha!
❤️❤️❤️
Awww that was sweet. We have a mattress that looks a lot like yours that also came in a box like that with very similar options. Really like ours too.
Thanks for doing this Summer. I know it is not always easy to share personal things. I really appreciate your honesty. Happy to know you are so active with your church. Never be afraid to share about our Lord and Savior. I know the Lord will bless you more than you can imagine when submit to His will. May the Lord bless you and your family always.
Use a lint roller for all the fuzzy stuff on your bedding ..... 😁❤your welcome
It's cool that you are getting patches on your jacket. I have one that is full of patches
Cheeseburger soup??? Sounds interesting 🤔 I just had some grilled cheese sandwich and some chili for lunch, thanks for the video, you have "Sum good stuff" alright 👍
You two are so cute and sweet. I love you guys or as we say in Unionville Indiana youins! lol
Summer, you need a thimble. It will protect your finger and help push that needle through the denim and your thick patches. Maybe ask you MIL if you can borrow one, or invest in one. Find a local quilt shop, or fabric store. The silicone ones with the metal tip ends are nice and “ oh sew helpful!”
I was “partly” using one. I kept taking it off haha! I need a silicon one or something that doesn’t fall off!! Cause mine kept falling off ..
Yes, a thimble needs to be a “ good fit” for it to be helpful!
❤️❤️👌
You call waking up at 8 am. Sleeping in?!! Wow!
Non dairy is awesome!
Very cool video thanks 🍔🍜
👍🏻😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
That soup looked yummy Summer. How do you make it,? I loved Jay's reaction. And the kiss you got aww was so sweet.❤😊🥰
Recipe is in the description:)
Enjoy following you through your day. I agree with using the lint roller for the fuzz from the blanket. I always use a duvet cover on my quilt. You can change the look of your room by changing the duvet cover and pillow shams. I also have large euro square pillows they look great at the top of the bed. You can never have too many pillows! Hope he enjoyed the soup. If you want to get pregnant take apple cider vinegar each day. Read about it. Sending prayers and blessing to you all. Kiss kitty for me. Does she have a heating pad in the garage? 🥰🙏🥴
she doesn't :) it puts her at more risk of getting sick going from the warm pad to the cold. She is plenty warm in her little space though!! and thanks for the tip :)
Awwwww !
I'm glad to see you made Jay his favorite soup, especially since I noticed in the last video that spending time with him didn't make your top five. 😏😉
Don't worry Jay, you still have Cole and Cooper.
fuzzies!
Aww that reaction was so sweet!! You guys are such a cute couple!😊💕
My truck battery was dead this morning too!
the worst!
So sorry Summer but 3 months is not long to see if your mattress is sagging 🤷♀️🤣🤣 hope u stay warm and the soup looks awesome 👍
Use a lint roller...simple
How about the recipe of the soup. Looks tasty
In description:)
People with no headboards really throw me off. Lol. But u do you.
gotta throw people off every once in a while haha!
I posted a question to my friends on FB about headboards and it was actually about 50/50. I was shocked. People are monsters. Lol
I was just wondering if you keep your house temperature at 64° in the winter, what temperature do you keep it in the summertime?
72!
I was gonna ask about the recipe.....but I see you posted it in the description. I gotta grab muh pencil.
Now you need to make him some good Texas chili. 😁😎🌶️
PS: if you put beans in it, it ain't chili. 😀
@@jrussellcase then I have never made chili haha!!
Don't you have a fuzz buster or lint roller? I've never had any troubles with those kind of blankets, but do not use softeners on them it'll ruin it😕
I don’t use softeners in my house but it was just a crappy blanket :(
@@sumgoodstuff9995 mine are berkshire, love their fuzzy fleece sheets too, esp in the winter👍😉
Bet the soup was good…🍜
Vacuum your blanket and comfortor should help get the fuzz off,
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👋👋👋👀👀☕️☕️☕️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Jay likes the but loves the cutest girl.
Poor cat 😭😭 she must be so cold!
She isn’t :) farm cats are tough (except she’s practically a house cat haha!)
64 lmao mine is 80 I don't want too dress Like I'm outside when I'm In The House No Way
What about Ollie 😪🙏🏻
what about her? :)
@@sumgoodstuff9995 just hoping she was warm ❤️
That is a really weird thing for you car to do that when shutting off the engine. Clearly the dealer is finding it weird too since it hasn't been fixed yet. 😟
Get Rid of the Fuzz Use Fabric Sheets not 1 or 2 at a Time like 10 or so an dry it 3 or 4times an Clean the Lint trap It will All Go Away
U Kno anything bout ashma
