Sometimes when you backing next to another tractor trailer you get nervous. When I first started driving it was like this. It just gonna take some practice. The maneuvers we did in school don’t teach you nothing that you’re gonna come across out there on the road.
A technique I’ve come to learn is when you get to these receivers is just slide your tandems forward to get in the dock they can’t tell you nothing the load is already there I don’t know why people be riding around with their tandems at the 40 foot mark empty for no reason if I’m empty my tandems are going to the front

theres no way that guy had the experience he said he had.. especially working for a o/o or that company.. theres be more work if they werent pushing people outta cdl schools just to fill trucks

I enjoyed doing flatbed better. I enjoy the ease of dry van, more loads available, better paying loads.
