I run with Landstar, started 6 months ago. Grossing $7500/week is very common, and very doable. Now...I have found that an easy approximate to figure out how much goes into your bank account (after paying for fuel, Landstar's cut, and weekly expenses incurred for misc Landstar charges) is to multiply the gross by 0.45. So $7500 x 0.45 = $3375. That number will be pretty close. Of course, since we are 1099, taxes need to paid out of that $3375, i don't know what to expect to pay for taxes, I'm imagining 20-30%.
