You always want to replace all 4 batteries together. Replacing 2 batteries will get you down the road but those other 2 batteries will have less power than the 2 new ones and bring them down quicker. Better to do all 4. $80 or $90 each you would have all 4 for under $400
@@truckinginwesttexasoilfiel3266 Excellent advice Michael. I live off grid and use solar power with battery storage. What you said is what I learned when getting my solar system together. Batteries need to be the same age.
One easy way to find out if the moisture on the battery is acid is to pour a little water mixed with baking soda on them, if it's battery acid, it'll fizz up and neutralize the acid, just rinse it off with a little more plain (or distilled) water. If it don't fizz up, then it's something else. Baking soda in water is a good way to clean up your battery box before you install the new batteries too.
The TA mechanics work on commission on the labor, so they charge you for every single thing that they do. I know because I used to work for a T.A . Your money is just as important to save. Replace all 4 batterys. God-bless and safe travels
I don't know if you did or not, but you should change all your batteries at the sametime. The old batteries will bring down the new ones to what the old one are. (there level) Make the new ones not last longer.
That really sucks bro. At the end of the day u have to do what's best for your company and your family. Sometimes that requires leaving something that is comfortable.
What's up Zeke been watching you since you were at prime. I'm currently going through TNT now. I was wondering why you went with lone mountain instead of with prime to buy your truck?
Hey make sure u mention me lol. I didn't start with the insurance they offered me I wanted to try landstar insurance first. After 6 months I switched to Ten Four Truck Insurance. It was cheaper for me.
@zekedawgtrucking I'm actually doing the videos and hazmat videos, for LandStar. Waiting for my background to come back. I'm supposed to start with JB Hunt, on the 8th of July. Which ever one starts me 1st. Ten-Four insurance, doesn't seem too bad.
Don’t you know Real Truckers Don’t Wear Flip Flops 😂😂😂 hope Bonehead Truckers don’t see this video lol need to put some ceramic coating on the front of the hood to keep the paint protected….better change the batteries before they explode and leave you stranded…

With Prime Inc I would have been TRAPPED with them on a truck I'm buying. Now I can lease on anywhere.
I've been following the channel big dogg and was wondering has that Paccar engine been giving you any issues yet? 🤞🏾
No problem thus far
Brotha, I'm getting my truck from Lone Mountain. It'll be next week. Did you get the insurance, they offered. If so, how is it?
