Wholeheartedly agree. AI & Robot voices are a lazy content creator’s tools of their trade. I wanted to watch but I got 8secs in and voice ruined it so didn’t watch. At the very least, use a voice better than that. People HATE AI & robot narration.

I'm not a big fan of Krispy Kreme, I have had them a few times and they are ok as far as donuts go. But in my own opinion nothing beats the mom & pop donut shops. For me the quality is much better along with a more personalized atmosphere where you actually get to know the owner/manager/employees on a first name basis. There is a lot of automation involved in creating Krispy Kreme products that does not exist in the privately owned shops.
I made homemade donuts most of my youth. These things are so tongue burningly sugared up that they burn your tongue. And they are crooks too…gee, what a great bunch.
About 25 years ago, a Krispy Kreme shop opened up near me. The crowd was so great that cops had to direct traffic. Fast forward several years and that same Krispy Kreme store had permanently closed. A flash in the pan.
I remember eating Krispy Kreme in NC in the 70s. They were just about as good as a donut can get. Nowadays, the only place they transport me to is a world of disappointment, and regret.
And God forbid I ever accidentally eat one of the garbage imitations they sell in WalMart! I haven't seen anyone trade this much goodwill and brand recognition for temporary profits since HP.
And yet, there are only three locations in all of metro-Houston, the 4th biggest metropolis in America, and one of them is temporarily closed.

Used to be simple, awesome, plenty of icing. Scrimping on icing, adding flavored nonsense and NO charity donations for fundraising locally sealed deal of failures. Hot now; now, hot, maybe later.

Recently in Mobile, AL I walked up to the doors of the KK on Hilcrest & Airport only to find the doors locked but the place was busy inside. They were only doing "drive ups" and NO Walk In business at 07:15 in the morning on a weekday. See Ya, NOT.

Krispy Kreme quality has declined. Their donuts are now a bit smaller than before, and they've discontinued more than half of their menu. Store sales have declined, so the less popular donuts on display could be more than a day old. Only the regular glazed donuts are freshly made daily. In the news, McDonald's stores nationwide will stock Krispy Kreme donuts by the end of 2026.
