I got a caffeine habit around my sophomore year of college. I usually drink 2 cups of coffee a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. As a busy college student, coffee really helps power me through the day. Oddly enough, I’ve noticed that when the caffeine from my coffee starts kicking in, it also seems to improve my mood and my sociability. It makes me feel more talkative. Anyone else have this?
yeah bro same thing, its good to feel more active and more useful in a way at least for me. I mean better abuse it then miss out on it you feel me just dont have too much, I have 1-2 cups usually and 4-6 max depends if im on some grind
yeah I had this same affect when I drink energy drinks (one cup of coffee doesn’t give the same affect) and I thought it was because of the dopamine but I haven’t fact checked it
err I think it’s just coffee in general that makes you more talkative because coffee gives you a lot of energy alongside dopamine so energy and happy probably would result in that idk
A few years back, I would always drink caffeinated soda, and I was really feeling the effects. One effect that overwhelmed all was anxiety. I constantly felt anxious. I decided enough is enough, and I went cold turkey. I cheated here and there, but eventually I quit. It is amazing how much better I feel now.
I stayed up all night and i started to feel very sleepy till i drank 2 cups of coffee (no sugar or cream) and then like around 30 min later I feel alerted and now ready to take on school
AYGEE214 lol the first time I had coffee (about under 2 week ago) i fell asleep half hour after drinking... it was mid day and I got full nights of rest and I never take naps. I'm naturally a hyper person so avoided caffeine and always made sure my pop was caffine free because I thought it make me bounce off the walls lol. I've had monster drinks months ago (first time I had a monster I went to bed about 2 hours later) and just made me feel relaxed. I've had caffine about 5 times in my life (1 icecap which had no effect, a sip of someones french vinilla coffee once, 2 monster on diffrent days of course, and half of my brothers monster one time) before I started drinking coffee recently. i decided to drink coffee because I like how it makes me feel relaxed... I took a break from it over the weekend that just passed and man was I hyper those 3 days I was literally running around my house doing laps because of how much energy I had and staying up till 1am pacing the basement because I just had soo much energy. haha I drink coffee to chill myself out. also I drink water after drinking coffee to stay hydrated.

@@hoovy2024 Ya caffeine doesn't actually release dopamine in your brain, but enhances the opportunity for your brain to release it. In other words, more can be released at once, essentially making all things more enjoyable.
Coffee is a CNS stimulant, just like methamphetamine or cocaine, but a weaker one.The happiness you feel is due coffee mildly stimulating dopamine secretion,a hormone responsible for energy, pleasure and motivation
Fun facts on coffee. I'm glad I can't od on coffee. 70 cups at one time would be a challenge. I love the stuff. My father drinks 5-6 cups a day ,and he is a very healthy 84 year old.
I tend to drink 12 cups of coffee when I go all nighter of doing college homework and study that does not give me time to sleep, but from time i tend to worry if I'm gonna die from too much coffee
Everytime I drink coffee I get extremely hyper but then when the effect passes I feel extremely weak, shaky and light headed, is that normal? Does it happen to anyone else?
The first time I drank coffee, I had slept four hours, so I asked my mom to make me some (since I didn't know how to do it myself). She gave an entire mug, and when she wasn't there, I drank almost the entire thing, thinking that even that wouldn't be enough to keep me awake all day. Boy, was I wrong. My head was buzzing and my heart was beating what seemed to be way too fast almost the entire day. I swear to God, I could read minds, and see through walls or some shit. It was terrifying, but I felt stupidly cheerful the entire day. I had never been more awake in my entire life. I later found out that after I'd left, my mom came back and saw the almost empty cup and was like "oh, shit!" Apparently she hadn't expected me to have more than a few sips. I've asked her why she'd given me a regular-sized cup and assumed that I'd know enough to not drink the whole thing, but I've never gotten a straight answer.
It is crazy how happy and alert I get on coffee, a double espresso in the morning and I feel genuinely ecstatic, just so happy about everything, I wish everybody could feel like this after drinking coffee. Mixing coffee with milk and sugar minimizes the effects so if you want to feel so awake and alert, have one double espresso every day, no more otherwise you will get too addicted and the effects wont last. I have been having one double espresso everyday for about three years and I havent build up any resistance to its effects.

it's probably sugar in your coffee that 'relaxes you' (sedative effect) , and coffee don't make you hyper unless you drink regularly and your brain is fried
I've noticed this when get into a habit of caffeine everyday for months on end and in high amounts. I'm pretty sure it's your body being used to the slightly higher base line of dopamine so when your off it you feel the adhd like effects of constantly being annoyed unless your fully absorbed in something or drinking more coffee, like a stimulant withdrawal but minor
As an avid coffee drinker myself, this video really hit home for me and helped explain why I feel what I feel after having my morning cup (or two) of coffee. Unfortunately, I think I've hit the point of creating more adenosine receptors requiring me to drink more and more coffee to feel what I used to feel from just one cup. I also can relate to feeling more tired than I used to after my coffee fix begins to wear off. I don't think that many people view caffeine for what it really is, an addictive drug. However, we can certainly feel the effects of it that are similar to other addictive drugs. I think that if more people knew some of these unpleasant side effects that we would look for other, less harmful ways to wake up in the morning.
Great. Dependent on two drugs to drive your life and balance out each other. I love weeeeeeeed, but I love being sober even more. Utmost pristine condition.

There is one thing missing in this video: everyone drinks coffee WITH SUGAR, which is an even more addicting chemical than caffeine. How about the effect comparison between sugarless vs with sugar?
Lance Hendrickson true. From what I've seen in NZ it's about 50/50 split between adding sugar and no sugar, although most still have milk added like a latte or whatever.
+phiyaboi Well I don't need to be an expert to know that we overdose on sugar way more than our bodies were made for. Just because we need something doesn't make it not addictive.
It's simply that you don't notice the effect because it isn't terribly noticeable, also the fact that you may not be sensitive to coffee. Energy drinks contain an absurd amount of caffeine, so you'll definitly feel it. A single cup will bring you up for the day and keep you from falling asleep just enough, but you may not consciously feel it. It really comes down to what you pay attention to.
Jason Holmquist Energy drinks don't contain an absurd amount of caffeine. Take the most popular one for example: Red Bull. 32mg/100ml, so drinking half a liter of red bull (a regular can is only 250ml) would equal the same amount as a cup of coffee. Like they said in the video; 1 cup = more or less around 150mg. Only energy drinks also contain lots of sugar, which also help of course...
***** after more than 15 years drinking coffee, I don't know if it's good for me anymore because it's like the video explains: you feel great for a while but that crash is gonna get ya and is gonna get you HARD :( my advice for you is stay away from it if you're not addicted yet
You mentioned that over time, the adenine receptors increase, thus making you need more and more caffeine to maintain wakefulness. Okay so, what happens if, after this happens, you quit caffeine cold-turkey? Will the extra receptors eventually die/disappear again, leaving you back how you started? Or are the extra receptors permanent, leaving you stuck in a state of fatigue the rest of your life?
Depending on how much coffee you drank, it takes a week or two to get to a normal level again. The first days can be painful though. When I don't get my wakeup coffe (that's the only one I drink a day) I have headaches in the afternoon.
DTheEndeavoring I've never had withdrawal, i've drank coffee for about 6 years now pretty much everyday 5+ per day. I started to have sleeping problems so i only drank water for two weeks and i felt fine. It seems pretty weird that some people have a negative effects after stopping it.

Does the eye color affect ones vision? Example: Does everyone see "blue" the same?? Relating to vision, why do we see white flashes sometimes that impairs our vision? ??
I can say this: It's not the color of eyes. It's the size. Near sighted people have larger eye length, and Far sighted people have smaller eye length. I wish Daddy could give me contacts soon.
@Kirby Popstar : I don't mean the degree of vision, I am enquiring about: does the vision of colour differs with people of different eye colour. I read somewhere before that dark eye colours see in the dark better than those light eyed. I wonder why that happens
is it possible for someone to be immune to caffeine? I drink coffee every morning, but only because its a habit... it does absolutely nothing for my awareness or my sense of being tired.. im just as tired and aware as i was before i took the coffee, and its not even that i dont notice it, cuz sometimes i pay special attention to it, just to see if it had any effect on me, but no... after 10 mins, nothing changes, after 1 hour, nothing happens (apart from a natural way of waking up and getting more aware...
Lana Waters yea, i thought about that, but i only drink coffee for the past year, because i never needed it before that.. i gave it a shot, so that i can easier wake up, but even at the start i noticed nothing.... i thought if i just keep doing it i will start feeling it's effects, but it never happened... by now its more of just a habit :/ so my question still stands, is it possible to be immune to coffeine? or if not immune, than resistant to it enough so that whatever effects it has on u is so negligible that u dont notice it?
Unknown it might depend on the type of coffee you drink. Light roasts contain more caffeine for example. Also, coffee can be more effective if you drink it in the late morning as opposed to when you wake up. I have a high tolerance for caffeine but that's because I consume a lot of it (5 cups and a few red bulls). Try drinking a few glasses of water before your coffee in the morning. You feel tired because you haven't had water for a few hours.
That's great! If you liked this video, you may also want to know that There are advantages and disadvantages to consuming coffee. One population study on 4 million international individuals found that daily, consistent coffee consumption led to 8-28% reduction in all-cause mortality (prevention of chronic disease)! On the flip side, too much coffee can result in negative side effects, such as headaches, ear ringing, nausea, vomiting, and gastric distress.
I'd guess it's because of the brain glitching out somehow and starting to treat caffeine just like adenosine. Don't know, though. I'd love to hear more about it!
Perhaps that means the brain already creates some sort of natural caffeine that competes with the adenosine, and drinking coffee makes the brain make more adenosine receptors. Perhaps it gets to the point where the amount of adenosine is overpowering the caffeine/natural caffeine.
Your body can react to ingesting something warm by slowing your metabolism to keep your body temperature stable, this in turn relaxes you. You might find that a hot cup of coffee makes you sleepy but a caffeinated soft drink has the opposite effect.
I almost never drink coffee, so when I have just one cup I get soooo energized. Once, I drank two cups of coffee and felt like I was about to have a heart attack lol

What would be an appropriate amount of coffee to drink in order to get some of the health benefits of it without creating a dependency? I have always avoided drinking coffee, because I do not want to depend on anything to maintain energy levels. However, It seems that caffeine does have a few desirable effects, and now I am considering adding it into my life. I drink my coffee black without any added cream or sugars, assuming this is the healthiest way to consume it.
As someone with ADHD I can tell you first hand I can down 10 cups of coffee and feel no energizing effects whatsoever. All I usually get from coffee is no more than a tad bit better focusing abilities.
isnt it that with people with adhd coffee does the opposite and actually calms you down? i cant remember the scientific reason but the medication people with adhd take to calm them down is a common party drug and its like a toned down version of cocaine to people without adhd. im not sure but i watched a video on it somewhere.
Well, I have adhd and I started drinking coffee since 3 weeks ago when my mom bought a keurig machine. Dude, I don't know if it's just my case but it is such a good performance booster for me. It makes me way more aware and focused in what I'm doing. It also got me through an 8 hour shift with two hours of sleep. So far I've been drinking a cup a day but yesterday I broke my limit with two cups. I think I'm starting to become an addict.
Why doesn't coffee work on me? Sometimes it just makes me tired. I was prescribed adderall, after taking a 5mg pill I'd just feel anxious. nothing works for me :(
Well, I think those receptors in your brains are already taken and the coffee doesn't find it's way quick enough to the free receptors, so it will render useless...
@@TheEarBreaker don't you mean downregulated? Since drinking coffee in the long term will increase the number of adenosine receptors and when you quit coffee, the adenosine receptor gene gets downregulated to restore balance?
Same, every time I have drank coffee (or any caffeine drink) I have not experienced any changes in tiredness. Maybe I need to drink more? 1 cup should be enough to take an effect, right?

You tell me. What is going through your mind when you see something beautiful? What are you feeling? Is it overwhelming? Is it taking you away to a dream-like place? Do you cry because reality is often so unpleasant that the contrast between it and such beauty invokes strong feelings? The question "why do we cry" is invalid as it only applies to a portion of the population, but that is only a matter of technicality.

+PluriiGaming coffee makes you more alert of what you are doing, you feel less tired or drowsy. Even your eyes widen up a bit. I am not addicted to coffee, but I know I need it when I am working or studying. I am a lazy person. I don't really care about coffee on weekends. But coffee is like a fuel that keeps my goings on work-days. As far as taste is concerned, I hated the taste when I was a kid. It used to feel 'bitter' and 'putrid' in my mouth. But hell, now I love it. In my case, it is more like an acquired taste.
Go about 10-20 days with NO caffeine at all, and they will fade. When you drink caffeine again it will have a similar affect as it would as you first started drinking coffee, however you will rebuild a tolerance quicker. try to take these brakes once every other month so you don't take irregularly high amounts of caffeine, and so caffeine keeps its energetic affects.
Hi Dave, I've discovered a way to get rid of dependence on caffeine and feel more alert, awake and less fatigued. Apparently caffeine causes the release of _histamine_ which triggers the _H3 receptor_ in the CNS. So the problem ain't _adenosine_ per se. It's more to do with the _glutamate-glutamine cycle._ I fixed it taking a tea spoon of _l-glutamine_ (the precursor to l-glutamate) in a bit of milk twice daily. I'll post a longer comment with more info.
O. Rood I used to take L-glutamine pills once in a while (muscle rebuilding purposes). Now I eat the L-glutamine gummies from GNC. But I had never heard that they could help to feel more awake. It'd be nice it if did. Let me know it goes!
Hi Dave, that's interesting. Muscle _rebuilding_ purposes .. or muscle _building_ purposes ? *It worked for me and for others who were fatigued and drink a lot of coffee to compensate.* The chemical structure of glutamine is very similar to a neurotransmitter which is required to be alert, awake so that's no surprise.. especially if I'm correct that long-term caffeine consumption ends up exhausting the available supply of said neurotransmitter and/or its precursor l-glutamine in the CNS. What's surprising is that of the layman info I read online most is contradictory or just plain wrong. I mean.. _it's one of the most abundant amino-acids in the body_ (even if it is locked away in muscle tissue or other cells) so saying it is a 'poison' (as some websites claim) makes no sense. However.. everything in moderation. It can be readily metabolized by cancer cells so.. yeah, I wouldn't recommend it to people who suffer from that ailment. I'd be more concerned about someone suffering a placebo response after reading some of the strange ideas on the web regarding glutamine. Average absorption of tablets is usually not 100% or even 50% depending on the ingredient.. so I took a tea-spoon of l-glutamine _powder_ in a small bit of milk. According to GNC (which you mentioned above) they say: _"By micronizing large molecules into smaller particles that are easier to absorb"_ .. it will make a "better" product. ...Treating a fine-powder of a _reactive_ soluble amino-acid in some kind of chemical cocktail to change its 'size' sounds a bit OTT and would by definition attempt to _break down_ its molecular structure to "micronize" it. I would be extremely sceptical about any 'treated' or 'concentrated' l-glutamine supplements. Also they charge $20 for 60 of their RapidDrive® Performance® gummies.. at 306g per pack that's 5g per gummie. I paid around $6 for 500g of powder and took a rounded teaspoon which'd be a little less in weight, except the powder wouldn't have all the extra ingredients that your gummie has.. sweetener/sugar etc so it probably would be more equal than not. So if you didn't notice any effect from this RapidDrive® Performance® version I'll probably avoid any "micronized" or "treated" l-glutamine in the future and stick with what I know works. However if you're into fitness and body building then you probably wouldn't have any issues with chronic fatigue anyway so the point is moot.
Also.. knocking back 100ml of milk with a teaspoon of equal weight to one of those gummies would deliver a higher amount to the blood stream than sucking on a gummie for half an hour. (If that "micronized" form actually does anything and hasn't broken down completely this may explain the difference.) The blood has quite a considerable amount of available glutamine (in different metabolized forms) .. and it _can_ pass the blood-brain-barrier, so perhaps it is the quick boost that helped deliver it to the CNS in my case. The only other thing that springs to mind is that it exists in a stable form by binding to another metal or 'salt' and that the micronized form bound to some other molecule which inhibited its ability to cross the blood-brain-barrier easily. I'm not an expert nor a chemist so I can only speculate. (And if RUclips didn't show my previous comment, I hate them.)
i have a diagnosed over- reactiveness to caffeine, when i drink coffee/energy drinks the effects are twice as strong as on a normal person. i'm pretty sure i almost had a heart attack one time after drinking 3 cups of coffee xD my chest was just stinging really painfully and i felt drowzy
Thanks for this video! Research shows that coffee can help with mental alertness, type 2 diabetes, weight loss, Parkinon’s, prevention of cardiovascular disease, and may prevent gallbladder disease!

Firsticous Lastilicous How is having knowledge in any way sad? It would be sadder if you didn't know any of them, but then you could learn them and be happy :)
Our brain freezes because the blood that goes up to our brains passes through the top of our mouths, so when we eat a bunch of ice cream or ice water, etc, it cools the blood down and when it gets to your brain, it's all cold.
happens to me too sometimes, this is caused by fatigued adrenaline receptors. What i do when this happens is to slightly lower the dose the next time - or ,to stop drinking when i get this "tired" symptom
I don't like it or milk by itself. The only time I drink either is when I'm putting them together to make cafe con leche (coffee with milk). Then I add some sugar and it's fine. You can try that if you really want to try and drink coffee, but if not then it's no big deal.
YingofDarkness I basically like any drink that's... how do I call it, light? I don't like coffee, alcohol or carbonated drinks. I let carbonated drinks sit open in the fridge to get rid of that damn burn that I hate. I like tea, juice, milk etc.
Probably depends on what kind of blood you're bathing in. For example if you were to bathe in blood from a clean source where the thing has eaten clean healthy foods and has a healthy positive essence the blood would be good and clean, alternatively if you bathed in dirty blood e.g. something that has a bad diet negative opinions etc. it wouldn't be ideal. Wtf kind of question is this, don't bathe in blood.
They do when they're no longer in use. So if you constantly keep your energy up by other means (physical activity or whatever) they won't go away as fast. The brain is constantly changing and allocates energy to make stuff it needs more.
Currently quitting caffeine (7 cups a day). It's horrible, but there is supposedly a pot of gold on the other side (6-12 months) for anxiety sufferers like me.
You should do a video on energy drinks, and what are the side effects. I know most of them but they are very interesting. I am just suggesting because people might stop drinking so much.
+Ishmel Smith The key to power naps is not napping too long. If you nap longer than 30 minutes your brain goes into the sleep cycle which makes it awful to wake up in when not fully completing it.
Everybody has a different effect it feels like, my friend gets anxiety and jitters with coffee/caffeine and I get relaxed and focused. Have to take in factors like your health, sleep level, psychological factors (ADHD)
What you need to do is, drink less caffiene by no taking it all in at certain times. But rather do a little in different parts of the day. For example, you can make the 150 and divide it by let's say 12. comes at 12.5. You Can take a sip an hour and make the 12 sip beverage. The effects are gonna be 10 times stronger though you my wanna stop at 5 pm. It's rediculously effective.
Coffee is more than caffeine, which cause additional effects or enhance the effects of caffeine. Notably B-Carbolines, which acts as an MAOI, and terpenes which can affect blood brain barrier permeability. Caffeine by itself feels different than Coffee. The same reason Tobacco is different than nicotine
As per the facts that long-term caffeine use will lead to an increased number of adenosine receptors thus requiring more caffeine (tolerance feedback loop), is there any science on what happens if you consume caffeine for a while and get those additional receptors, and then quit? Do you retain the higher number of receptors and just get tired more quickly, or do eventually regulate back down to your "natural" number?
You'd end up just involuntarily wetting yourself. Not so sure if you would ever be able to poop involuntarily though. But after a while you'd have such bad intestinal pain that you'd want to lol.
What're these cups you're talking about? I drank about half a liter to a liter a day. Now I kinda don't want to be poisoned anymore, so I switched to tea. I am addicted to drinking warm beverages, so it's somewhat easier to transfer from drinking that much coffee a day. But I do feel the need for caffeine, although I'm not sure I want to stop drinking tea (black, fruit, green, herbal, etc.).
it gives me an acid like feeling.nowhere as intense but it wierds me out big time enough to shut myself away from people.why do i like it though.it gets me high and keeps me away from booze
It depends more in your genetics. If your parents are tall then you'll grow tall. If they're small then you'll grow small. If they are big but you are small, or vise versa then you're adopted.
Women stop getting taller around 18 or so I think. So if you're around that age there's not much you can do, it also depends on genes quite a bit. If you're a kid, good sleep, exercise several times a wk and eat well and stay away from drugs and and alcohol of course. As for calcium (and a bunch of other stuff), if you educate yourself well on the matter you'll see that eating the right plants will be much healthier than depending on animal products for your nutrients. I'm no vegan but I'm reading a lot on the matter and the studies that have been made and making changes in my diet and feeling better.
Caffeine is fine, I have never really felt too addicted to it. I have no addiction to alcohol. But NICOTINE. THAT is HARD to quit. I'm trying. I was completely straight edge for 5 days. I just started drinking coffee to combat the foggy effects from the nicotine withdrawals. It's been WAY harder to quit than I thought, but I'm hanging in there.

Also, I'm never drinking coffee again.
How big is that mug?

There is one thing missing in this video: everyone drinks coffee WITH SUGAR, which is an even more addicting chemical than caffeine. How about the effect comparison between sugarless vs with sugar?
Not everyone drinks coffee with sugar. Example: Italians. Sure, some like sugar, but almost all of them prefer straight espresso. Including me.

people drink black coffee. also caffeine is more addictive.
is it weird that I don't have any buzz off coffee, like if I drank a glass of water it doesn't make any difference :\

I can say from experience that, after the withdrawal passes, you'll be fine.

Is there a way to get rid of the extra adenosine receptors cause by the use of caffeine?
Go about 10-20 days with NO caffeine at all, and they will fade. When you drink caffeine again it will have a similar affect as it would as you first started drinking coffee, however you will rebuild a tolerance quicker. try to take these brakes once every other month so you don't take irregularly high amounts of caffeine, and so caffeine keeps its energetic affects.
Hi Dave,
I've discovered a way to get rid of dependence on caffeine and feel more alert, awake and less fatigued. Apparently caffeine causes the release of _histamine_ which triggers the _H3 receptor_ in the CNS.
So the problem ain't _adenosine_ per se. It's more to do with the _glutamate-glutamine cycle._
I fixed it taking a tea spoon of _l-glutamine_ (the precursor to l-glutamate) in a bit of milk twice daily.
*It worked for me and for others who were fatigued and drink a lot of coffee to compensate.*
The chemical structure of glutamine is very similar to a neurotransmitter which is required to be alert, awake so that's no surprise.. especially if I'm correct that long-term caffeine consumption ends up exhausting the available supply of said neurotransmitter and/or its precursor l-glutamine in the CNS.
(If that "micronized" form actually does anything and hasn't broken down completely this may explain the difference.)
The blood has quite a considerable amount of available glutamine (in different metabolized forms) .. and it _can_ pass the blood-brain-barrier, so perhaps it is the quick boost that helped deliver it to the CNS in my case.
Ok so I only have one question: do the extra receptors you grow deplete to normal levels if you stop drinking coffee for long enough?
Yep, bc your brain is plastic. And adenosine-release system will eventually readjust itself to the norm.
i have a diagnosed over- reactiveness to caffeine, when i drink coffee/energy drinks the effects are twice as strong as on a normal person. i'm pretty sure i almost had a heart attack one time after drinking 3 cups of coffee xD my chest was just stinging really painfully and i felt drowzy
That s a dangereux. Me too
I would totally love you guys to explain how headaches work :)
My brain doesn't work that well, even on coffee.

So what I learned from this video is that coffee is basically a drug. And I guess I'm a drug addict then.
It is a drug. Not "basically a drug".
Yup. I'm an addict too.
So is sugar.
rallaa
No, a drug has to change a chemical balance in the brain. As far as I know, sugar is little more than a sweetener.
Coffee isn't a drug. Caffeine is

"What will happen if TIME stops?" Nothing, but you won't notice.
Time won't stop because its a dimension through which we exist. Thats like asking if everything just became 2D. As far as water slicing through rock, you can say the grand canyon is an example of that so yea but not necessarily like a blade would

Our brain freezes because the blood that goes up to our brains passes through the top of our mouths, so when we eat a bunch of ice cream or ice water, etc, it cools the blood down and when it gets to your brain, it's all cold.

idk about you guys but when i drink coffee... it makes me even more tired
happens to me too sometimes, this is caused by fatigued adrenaline receptors. What i do when this happens is to slightly lower the dose the next time - or ,to stop drinking when i get this "tired" symptom

I've never understood the appeal of coffee. It doesn't even taste good.
A lot of people like it, though. How do you feel about mate?
Nick Nirus I know and I don't understand why it's so liked. It's just not a pleasant taste imo.
I don't like it or milk by itself. The only time I drink either is when I'm putting them together to make cafe con leche (coffee with milk). Then I add some sugar and it's fine. You can try that if you really want to try and drink coffee, but if not then it's no big deal.
It does if you put 1/4 of a cup coffee and hot water, add three teaspoons of sugar and fill the rest with milk. Then it's sweet.
YingofDarkness I basically like any drink that's... how do I call it, light? I don't like coffee, alcohol or carbonated drinks. I let carbonated drinks sit open in the fridge to get rid of that damn burn that I hate. I like tea, juice, milk etc.
How does a blood bath feel like, and is it good for your body?
Probably depends on what kind of blood you're bathing in. For example if you were to bathe in blood from a clean source where the thing has eaten clean healthy foods and has a healthy positive essence the blood would be good and clean, alternatively if you bathed in dirty blood e.g. something that has a bad diet negative opinions etc. it wouldn't be ideal.
Wtf kind of question is this, don't bathe in blood.

When quitting caffeine, how long does it take for the additional receptors (0:55) to die off and return to the normal amount?
Depends on how long you've been consuming coffee and what dose. Usually most of the withdrawal symptoms go away in a few days to a week.

I rely on it almost everyday especially during a good workout!! It's best without the sugar or milk!!
In it's natural form all the way!! 😊
I thought I was the only one, I go to the gym with coffee or dark liquor
Do the new andenosine receptors wear off after you havent had caffiene for some time?
that is a great question.
Which is why I only drink coffee, when I really NEED it. If a nap is possible, I'll take a nap.
Frederick Setjadiningrat for me naps would only lead to deep sleeps which at the time isn't helping.
Ishmel Smith I was like that. You'll get used to it. Now I wake up at 4 everyday to commute, like it or not, that's how I get used to it.
Frederick Setjadiningrat I know how it is to wake up at 4 XD it's just the napping part.
+Ishmel Smith The key to power naps is not napping too long. If you nap longer than 30 minutes your brain goes into the sleep cycle which makes it awful to wake up in when not fully completing it.
rutix For one I'm not the type of person that 'naps'. I tried. Unless napping is when you just close your eyes then that doesn't help at all.
yeah, coffee is bad to our health; *continues drinking coffee*.
pretty much too much of everything is baad for you.

1:49 It’s actually 10,500mg lmao. 150 x 70 = 10,500
Taydrum caffeine pills actually work a lot better for me than coffee ever did
probably since the dosing is way different

Lmao this isn't picturefit 😂
What
As per the facts that long-term caffeine use will lead to an increased number of adenosine receptors thus requiring more caffeine (tolerance feedback loop), is there any science on what happens if you consume caffeine for a while and get those additional receptors, and then quit?
Do you retain the higher number of receptors and just get tired more quickly, or do eventually regulate back down to your "natural" number?
What would happen if u stopped pooping/peeing?
BLADDER EXPLOSION!!! HOW EPIC WOULD THAT BE
Tavis Terry that really would be awesome but this is possible if you simply stop eating or drinking for a long time hope this helps:)
You'd end up just involuntarily wetting yourself. Not so sure if you would ever be able to poop involuntarily though. But after a while you'd have such bad intestinal pain that you'd want to lol.
tell that to Fry, he had 100 cups
Not all at once though
yeah and he also started to hallucinate, so i guess it wasn't too far off the mark.
I was thinking about that too. But he became Flash
Nikki DeRaad I think that was from his lack of sleep rather than drinking coffee. He didn't sleep till the very end of the episode.
I don't think you can compare Fry to Godot (from Ace Attorney). I mean, Godot drinks coffee like it's water.
Damn you coffee, I know I can't live without you.
Bummer, now I'll never get those superpowers granted by that hundredth cup of coffee :/

How do you get taller?
Eat well, you need the calcium in food like cheese and milk, sleep well, as the growth hormone is generated when you sleep.
