- Cedar Point put on an exclusive 3 hour long event featuring exclusive ride time on Steel Vengeance and Maverick. Wild Frontier Nights was a limited time run in which guests could pay $100 to gain access to Frontiertown from 9 pm to midnight, featuring food, drinks, a mechanical bull, and more!

I never heard of this event before. I would probably spend the entire 3 hours lapping Maverick & Steel Vengeance. I can eat food outside the park before or after. With no lines on 2 of the best rides in the world, I would forget that food even existed.
I replayed 7:49 - 7:57 WAY too many times. That had me in tears LMAO
I bet this is still one of the best memories you all have at the park.

I went the night before( June 10) and it was the same no lines for both steel vengeance(12 times) and maverick(5 times). The lemon blueberry milkshake was amazing. The egg rolls were good and the cheese burger sliders to die for. The price is definitely worth it because you can ride steel vengeance and Maverick with zero wait and the food/drink package(40 dollars) also worth it especially if you get hungry after laping coasters 👍🏽
You better best believe I would be lapping Maverick and steel vengeance for the entire 3 hour long event lol.

I think $100 is a good value. Seeing a good broadway show now can cost $100+. The way I think about it is … if this was a pay per ride park, those rides would easily be $10 each.
Cedar point actually hired the guy that started Universal Halloween horror nights.
I love all the Ennio Morrricone spaghetti westeran music playing in the background. I reallly miss Cedar Pont. Haven't been there since 2017 when my group dissolved. I keep hoping I'll be able to ride Steel Vengeance someday.

Great video!!! I remember SteVe-ie tossing me and my cousin around like crazy in the far back row at night - when we went in the summer of 2018. Sarah should have been challenged to try and keep all five hats on her head while riding row 14 on SteVe. That would have been great to see!

I just went about two weeks ago when the flower festival thing was going. The wait for steel vengeance was 3 and a half hours.

I think you just had to be 21 and pay for admission as far as I know! (I think even for season pass holders it is the same price to enter since the park is technically “closed”)
We rode before you on Mine Ride and then again with you on Maverick- awesome night. I think 1 ride on Mine Ride, 4 rides on SV, and 8 on Maverick in 90 min. My home park, go all the time, and I’ve never had ride times like that. 2021 CoasterMania! was close, but this was better for SV/Mav ERT. (PS was also nervous when entering and didn’t have my no boo necklace 😳)

Steel Vengence broke down at least 4 times when I went there and I was never able to get on it.

My only problem with the whole event is that during Coastermania they closed Maverick and SteVe for us in favor of the Wild Frontier Nights event. If they had simply given us thoosies the night ERT we always get during mania it would have been fine. They could have scheduled this new event literally any other date but they chose that night.. definitely worth it though if you like booze and walk on SteVe and Maverick.

You think you’re lucky having Maverick being a walk on? I rode Expedition Everest at night and it was a station wait last week. Then again, Animal Kingdom was only open to Special Olympics athletes and their families.
